However, after seeing a guest review of this hotel—”The owner's seafood dinner is divine!”—I booked it instantly. Now, having stayed there, I realize that the recommendation was far more compelling than any written description. The hotel is located next to Dongbi Village, away from the hustle and bustle of the village center. Stepping into this area, my heart immediately felt at peace. Upon arriving at the hotel entrance, I immediately saw the enormous octopus sculpture, both endearing and distinctive. Even first-timers wouldn't miss it; it's a true ”landmark.” Entering the room, the first thing that caught my eye was the floor-to-ceiling window facing the sea, offering an unbelievably expansive view. Standing by the window, the azure ocean stretched out before me, and the sea breeze, carrying a faint salty scent, made even breathing feel fresh and invigorating. No need to make a special trip to the beach; you can enjoy breathtaking views of sunrises and sunsets, and the ebb and flow of the tides, all without leaving your room. Whether it's watching the morning sun paint the river red or admiring the sunset's golden glow, every scene is a masterpiece. The room's decor was also exceptionally pleasing. Cleanliness was a given, but what was even more remarkable was its simple and elegant style. There were no unnecessary decorations, yet every corner exuded warmth. What surprised me most was the specially designed tea table in the room, with neatly arranged teaware and thoughtfully provided tea leaves. After waking from an afternoon nap, I would boil water, brew a pot of local tea, and sit around the tea table with my companions. Sipping tea, gazing at the sea outside the window, and occasionally exchanging a few casual words, time flowed by slowly, and all fatigue vanished in this tranquility. Let me highlight something special. The owner's wonderful cook couldn't book dinner on the first day due to a family emergency, but she rushed back the next day to prepare it for us so as not to disappoint. We were so touched! The long-awaited seafood dinner was amazing. The swimming crabs, freshly served, had gleaming shells, bursting with plump, sweet, and firm meat, bursting with the unique freshness of the sea. The razor clams were plump and free of any sand; each bite was tender and bouncy, bursting with juice in our mouths – the deliciousness was undeniable; I wouldn't be exaggerating when I say it's the best razor clams I've ever had. And then there were the firm-fleshed prawns. Every dish preserved the pure, natural flavor of the seafood, without excessive seasoning, yet so fresh we couldn't stop eating. We were so busy enjoying the food, praising the flavors, that by the time we realized we wanted to take a picture, the plates were almost empty. It's a bit of a shame we didn't get a photo, but the delightful surprise on our palates will forever remain in our memories. This hotel was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip to Xiapu, offering both tranquility surrounded by mountains and sea, and a seafood feast that tantalized our taste buds. Next time we visit Xiapu, this will be our top choice without a doubt, and we might even bring friends to share this hidden gem nestled beside Dongbi Village."

"It's been a while since I last stayed at Atour, and true to form, all the room facilities are well-designed and convenient, making for a very comfortable stay. I specifically chose a location near Taikang Road because there are so many food options around. It's a quiet spot amidst the hustle and bustle, with delicious food just a short walk away. The front desk service was excellent. The only minor issue was with the made-to-order breakfast station. I asked for a soft-boiled fried egg, but they directed me to the already cooked ones on the buffet. I clarified that I wanted a runny yolk, but they still refused. Since I had to catch a train, I didn't push it further. However, this request isn't unreasonable for a hotel and really lowered my overall experience."

"First of all, I must thank our housekeeper, Ms. Xiaoli, for saving my life! I accidentally choked on a fishbone while eating breakfast, and Ms. Xiaoli incredibly quickly and surgically removed it with tweezers. Thank you so much!! 🙏🙏🙏 Now, let's talk about the rooms. We stayed for two nights. The first night we stayed at Shuiyuan Huaxin, and the second night we were upgraded to Chunmei. Both rooms were very clean and comfortable, with sophisticated and stylish decor. Chunmei is much, much larger, with a loft layout, large floor-to-ceiling windows, a large bathtub, and a projector. You can see the sunset beautifully from inside, making it perfect for lounging all day. However, Shuiyuan Courtyard is probably one of the best outdoor viewing spots, with a private pool, tea room, and a balcony with a fireplace and a long table. The housekeepers were fantastic, a group of cheerful young people who were incredibly helpful and responsive to almost every request. They helped with everything from carrying our luggage and arranging check-in in advance to providing baseboard heaters when the weather got colder, delivering sweet soup every night, and even bringing laundry and a dryer for us. They also brought our drinks and food from the Chinese and Western restaurants to our room – very thoughtful. The food at the restaurants was delicious! After comparing several options, we preferred this place. This New Year's Eve was primarily a vacation, so we wanted to choose a place that was comfortable and relaxing in every way. Shijianhai met almost all our needs. For a lively, large group, Shuiyuan is a good choice; for a smaller, more relaxing group, Chunmei is recommended."

"My stay this time was excellent. Xiao Ye was incredibly thoughtful and even provided breakfast. The smart room features were very convenient; I didn't even have to get out of bed to turn on the lights or adjust the temperature. The room was spotless, which made for a very comfortable stay. The hotel's parking lot had plenty of spaces, and getting in and out was very smooth. The staff's service was gentle and attentive, and they responded quickly to any requests. Overall, it was a fantastic experience."

"The room was very clean and there was its own parking space behind the hotel. The front desk 1015 and 1011 service is also very good, help recommend delicious restaurants near the hotel. The hotel breakfast buffet is very rich, Chinese and Western breakfasts are available, breakfast even has small seafood, unlike the county town should have a package hahaha. The surrounding self-driving tour is really not good, the village road is super narrow, the wrong car is very troublesome, the old driver said that he is unwilling to drive for the second time."

"This stay at the Atour Hotel in Xiapu Binhai New City on Chian Avenue was great. The entire room smelled very clean, and there was no damp or musty odor in the bathroom, so the ventilation was good. I could barely hear any noise from the road outside or footsteps in the hallway. Additionally, the room was cleaned meticulously. The bedding felt comfortable, the hot water came quickly, and the water pressure was sufficient. The hotel is located in the new city, with convenient dining options nearby, and free parking was a lifesaver. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xiapu."

The restaurants in Sansha are all houses built by the seaside mountains. The road is relatively narrow. It is not very easy to drive. It is still more difficult to walk. But if you are taking your baby to play on the beach by car, it is not recommended to live in Sansha. It is still far from several beach points. When you go, you are not driving fast on the seaside mountain road. It takes more than an hour to drive from Sansha to several beach points. Choose an accommodation point close to the beach."

"The guesthouse is easily accessible right off the Xiapu exit of the G15 Shenhai Expressway, making it incredibly convenient for self-driving tours to attractions such as Mount Taimu, Donghai No. 1 Highway, and Dongbi Village. Located on the outskirts of Xiapu, it offers a peaceful retreat that's still very convenient. The building itself has a distinctive design, and the rooms are warmly and invitingly decorated. While the amenities might not be five-star standard, the service is truly exceptional. The young couple who run the place are fantastic; their recommended travel routes were all excellent. We followed their suggestions for our three-day self-driving trip, completely changing our original plans, and it turned out to be a fantastic decision. The Luohan Creek rafting, in particular, was an absolute unexpected highlight! The individually served breakfast was also quite good. This is hands down the best guesthouse I've ever stayed at. I highly recommend it!"
