"Highly recommend!!! The hotel service is excellent, comparable to those under the HUAZHU Hotels Group. The staff are very polite and always greet you. Hotel near Baisha old town/FOLIDAY Town Lijiang Mediterranean Resort,Yulong
Kui Ran adheres to the philosophy of "Let the mountains return to nature and people to their true selves", creating a place for harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. Located in the prime spot of Baisha Ancient Town, it takes only 3 minutes on foot to reach the bustling town, allowing guests to enjoy both the lively atmosphere and a peaceful retreat. Here, simply lie back and take in the majestic Yulong Snow Mountain, the dreamy sea of clouds, the vast wilderness, and the starry sky - each view a breathtaking masterpiece. Kui Ran was renovated from a six-generation-old ancestral home of the Naxi and Japanese style, covering an area of over 3,000 square meters. It features two main buildings, two distinct inner courtyards, and an additional 2,000 square meters of outdoor space. The 160-year-old walnut tree in the courtyard is the soul of the place. The hotel has 14 rooms, including 13 scenic rooms facing the snow-capped mountains and one century-old ancestral home family suite. Each room is equipped with Marshall speakers, Epson projectors, Hisense TVs, Atour zero-pressure memory pillows, Acca Kappa toiletries, Kohler showers, and Jomoo smart toilets to ensure a comfortable stay. A complimentary breakfast is delivered to the room, along with welcome fruits, a snack package, and a selection of coffee for afternoon tea, allowing guests to indulge their taste buds and embark on a journey back to nature. We hope that all guests who stay at Kui Ran can shed their fatigue and embark on a journey back to nature.

"This guesthouse is just a few minutes' walk from Baisha Ancient Town, making its location superb (plenty of dining options and easy access to delivery services). It's also very quiet at night. When it rained in Lijiang, the hotel even had a billiard room, which was a great way to relax. The courtyard's flowers and plants are meticulously maintained, and there are several courtyards, a treehouse, and a viewing platform on the third floor, all very well-designed and perfect for photos. The rooms are well-lit, and you can see the snow-capped mountains just by opening the curtains; on clear days, you can even witness the 'Golden Mountain in the Sunshine' phenomenon. The hotel's food is excellent, and during our stay, coffee, juice, and tea were available on tap, all of high quality. In the evenings, there were small bonfire activities, and the staff were very responsive. The rooms are clean and equipped with washing and drying machines, and the staff even helped with laundry, which was incredibly convenient for changing clothes during our travels. I loved it; overall, it was a very comfortable stay."

Mehood Theater Hotel (Lijiang Railway Station Branch) Boasting an unbeatable prime location, the hotel is just a 4-minute walk from Lijiang Railway Station and sits in the core high-speed rail business district. It only takes a 20-minute drive to Lijiang Ancient Town, ideal for both business trips and leisure travel. All guest rooms feature smart voice control for lights, air conditioning and curtains, delivering a convenient and high-tech staying experience. We adopt premium high-count cotton bedding to ensure you enjoy a restful, cloud-like sleep. 24-hour fitness center and self-service laundry room are available for your convenience. We also provide luggage storage, travel arrangement, business printing and personalized butler services, making your stay comfortable, cozy and worry-free.

"This is the second room I stayed in after checking in, and overall it was good. I really liked the king-size bed, and the hotel paid attention to details in all aspects. There are a few small things worth noting for improvement, though. For example, guests' requests to change rooms due to extreme sensitivity to smoke smell should be respected. Also, I unfortunately witnessed restaurant staff eating food from plates at the counter with chopsticks."

"We had a fantastic stay the MountainTrip resort. Even before arrival they helped coordinate a private transfer for us to get to Shangri-La. They picked us up from the airport for free (which is a long drive). We also used their free drive to nearby Baisha. The room was spacious, clean, and had plenty of amenities (fridge, free drinks, toiletries). The bathrooms were modern. When we arrived late they still offered us their daily tea and drinks. We had breakfast and a couple other meals at the hotel and always found the food delicious and well balanced. Attached a few of their daily menus. The family enjoyed petting and feeding their goats and ponies. They would give us food to feed them. The flowers were beautiful. Our stay will likely be a highlight of our trip to Yunnan. Thank you to the wonderful hotel staff!"

Located at the foot of Yulong Snow Mountain in Lijiang, the millennium old village of Luobaisha Ancient Town is backed by the snow mountain and faces the ancient city. The design of a standalone courtyard isolates the hustle and bustle, offering a magnificent view of the golden mountains of Rizhao through the window. At night, one can lie down and admire the Milky Way, truly realizing the secret experience of "sleeping with the snow capped mountains".

"We stayed for 2 days at Yuxue Yijing, a very peaceful and clean courtyard. The housekeeper was very friendly, and the group chat for check-in provided excellent, thoughtful tips. There was a complimentary afternoon tea after 3 PM, and the sweet white fungus soup in the evening was delicious. Breakfast was outstanding in terms of color, aroma, and taste; the rice noodles were a generous portion and incredibly flavorful. The courtyard is very close to the snowy mountains, so you can enjoy the mountain views right from your room, which is incredibly relaxing. It’s also just a 5-minute walk to the ancient town, making it very convenient. A big thank you to the staff member who took us to the train station early in the morning! 👍 I highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone planning to visit; it’s excellent."

"This was our first time visiting Baisha Ancient Town, and we chose this hotel. Our room had an amazing view, directly facing the snow-capped mountains. All the amenities were from well-known brands, and the experience was great. They also offered afternoon tea and a delicious, exquisite breakfast. Before we left, we even booked a photoshoot and received two professionally retouched photos. The little lamb was so cute! We'll definitely be back here next winter season."

The Watch the mountains with you·Designer 180° view of the snow-capped mountains was recently opened in 2023, making it a fantastic choice for those staying in Yulong. Lijiang Railway Station is located approximately 21km away while Lijiang Sanyi International Airport is 39km away. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Baisha Ancient Town Ranch - Snow Mountain Retreat, White Sands Navajo Tribe and Lijiang Xingchen Helicopter Base all nearby. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. This Yulong hotel features parking on site. There's never a dull moment at this hotel, our guests indicate that the facilities are excellent. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"Our initial hotel choice didn't quite meet expectations after a quick look, so we rebooked this place online. From the moment I contacted the owner, I was struck by their warmth. They clearly explained the available room types and immediately added me on WeChat to send precise driving directions. We were in two cars, and while we followed the navigation, many parts of the old town were under construction, leading to some confusion. The hotel promptly sent a staff member to guide us directly to the hotel, which was incredibly thoughtful! The owner gives off the impression of someone who truly knows how to live well and appreciates refined tastes. She's genuine and kind, and even recommended a fantastic local attraction that really surprised us. The hotel's layout features rooms on two (and partially three) floors surrounding a small garden. We stayed on the second floor, and our room had a small balcony with a direct view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain – simply amazing to be able to see it just by opening the curtains in our room! You can also go up to the third-floor terrace for panoramic views. There's even a charming glass sunroom on the terrace, a detail that truly showcases the owner's special attention and was a delightful surprise! The room itself was quite spacious, with clean and tidy bedding and amenities. The bathroom was well-designed with a separate wet and dry area (which I particularly appreciated). The free breakfast was excellent and varied each of the three days we were there! One more thing worth mentioning: bottled water was placed near the stairwell for guests to help themselves – a truly generous touch! The location is fantastic, just a ten-minute walk to Baisha Ancient Town, making it a perfect choice for a quiet stay that's still close to the action. During our stay, we even met foreign guests from Singapore and the UK. All in all, if we come back to the area, we will definitely choose to stay here again. Highly, highly recommend!"

"I am very picky about the details of the accommodation. This homestay is attentive from hardware to special activities, and there is no suspense for five-star full marks! Check in in advance to ventilate, prepare mosquito repellent supplies, local red, flower tea, room details are full: independent constant temperature snow mountain private soup pool, a whole set of handmade pure silver tea set, soft yoga mat, large capacity washing machine, panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows perfect frame to live in Yulong Snow Mountain, enjoy the beautiful sunshine in the morning Jinshan. The courtyard has carefully created multi-level Internet celebrity punch-in attractions, wooden houses, mirror water views, snow-capped mountain observation deck setups are regularly updated, and there will always be new scenes for taking pictures. Service details are intimate: the ancient town pick-up and drop-off is reminded in advance to make an appointment, and the daily afternoon tea is prepared regularly; Every night, the bonfire party prepares charcoal fireworks and hot tea in advance, and the atmosphere is regularly set off. The snow-capped mountains are the ultimate romantic fireworks. The cleaning is meticulous to the window frame gap, the corner of the pool, the courtyard trail, no dust and no stains, and the lamb and ducks in the courtyard are cleaned every day without odor. The staff is gentle and measured, and the demand is responsive. One-stop punching Rizhao Jinshan, private soup, bonfire, fireworks, and net red spots, pursuing a high-quality living experience, this is definitely worth choosing!"

Yunnan for Yunnan, Pu'er tea. The Sichuan Teary Hotel belongs to the high-end brand of Yunnan Detang Hotels, a micro-resort with a theme of tea culture. In the accommodation into the Pu'er tea culture, to create a can live in the tea museum.

"The overall feel of the room was excellent, elegant and grand. The overall experience was on par with chain brands like InterContinental, offering great value for money. Many small details were also well executed, such as the relaxing music in the elevator and the outdoor observation deck with mountain views. I rarely write reviews, but I made a point to write this positive one, hoping they maintain this standard. 【Dian Cha Li Courtesy】Immersive Tea Fragrance | Exclusive Private Hot Spring Specialty Pu'er Tea Bath: The hotel staff helped set it up with tea broth, disposable items, and flower petals, which was very refined. They also provided small desserts. It was indeed very relaxing after the bath. Private Butler | Private Butler Service: The butler's responses were very prompt, handling laundry pickup and delivery, and answering questions. The staff's soft-spoken manner was very comfortable and made for a warm experience."

This hotel is absolutely fantastic, with beautiful details everywhere and a strong sense of design. Every corner of the hotel is a picturesque scene, with amazing lighting that's perfect for photos. During this stay, I was lucky enough to see the snowy mountains – simply breathtaking! Being able to lie on the terrace and gaze at those beautiful snow-capped peaks was pure bliss. The local cultural vibe is very strong, and the designer's thoughtful touches are evident. It's a beautifully preserved century-old Naxi traditional house, full of ethnic character. The osmanthus flowers in the courtyard smelled heavenly. The location is superb, right in the best spot in Yuhu Village. Entering the hotel gives you a sense of secluded tranquility, yet it's very convenient to step out and explore the area. The service was so warm and inviting, it felt like coming home. Highly recommended!

Environment: You can see the snowy mountains right from the guesthouse, with a perfect view and a large open space for admiring the scenery and taking photos. The interior design of the guesthouse is very aesthetically pleasing and sophisticated, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Service: The service is impeccable. The guesthouse's breakfast and afternoon tea are high quality; the rose latte was my favorite. The in-house private chef's cooking is exceptional and delicious. In the evening, there's even a cocktail service, which other guesthouses don't offer. Each service is handled by a dedicated staff member who responds promptly and patiently. They also provide pick-up and drop-off to and from Baisha Ancient Town. The owner personally decorated the place, and the design shows excellent taste. We brought some freshly bought flowers, and they thoughtfully provided a vase and arranged them for us, a level of detail you won't find in other hotels. The stay was absolutely fantastic. This is the best and most favorite guesthouse I've stayed at in Lijiang, and I'll definitely choose it again next time! Highly recommended.

Baisha | This Guesthouse at the Foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Took Such Good Care of Me I highly recommend everyone who isn't interested in commercialized ancient towns (yes, I'm looking at you, Lijiang Old Town) to head straight to Sun-Kissed Mountain just outside Baisha Ancient Town in Lijiang. The rooms are truly exceptional. All room types start from 70 square meters and perfectly embody what a 'scenic view room' should be – a whole wall of floor-to-ceiling sliding doors, allowing you to gaze at fields and snow-capped mountains right from your bed. Even while sitting on the tatami to eat or drink tea, there’s a small window offering a beautiful view outside. There's also a long narrow window by the bed, so you can just turn your head slightly to see a vast expanse of blue sky and white clouds. The moment I saw this view upon entering, I immediately messaged all my friends to recommend it. A group of young people runs the place, with both cats and dogs, creating a warm community-like atmosphere. They created a service group chat with 11 people, and apart from me, everyone else was staff. From breakfast to afternoon tea to late-night sweet soup, all my food and drink needs were anticipated and delivered directly to my room. The drinks, in particular, were picture-perfect and really boosted my mood. Breakfast is served until 11 am, so after eating, you don't even need to think about lunch; just wait for afternoon tea. For the private hot spring, they help set up disposable bathtub liners and provide various bubble bath salts. They also give advance notice about the probability and timing of the 'golden mountain' sunrise (when the sun illuminates the snowy peaks) for the next day. There’s a six-seater commercial van shuttle service to Baisha Ancient Town, making things very convenient. The facilities are also top-notch: washing machine, garment steamer (yes, you read that right), oxygen machine, projector, humidifier, Bose sound system, and Kohler bathroom fixtures – absolutely everything you could ask for.

Staying at this luxurious wilderness hotel at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain was the most unexpectedly wonderful and healing experience of our Lijiang trip. As soon as we opened the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows in our room, the entire Jade Dragon Snow Mountain came into full view. The clouds drifted across the peaks, a sight both gentle and majestic. The hotel boasts a sprawling lawn, with winding wooden boardwalks leading towards the distant mountains. Lambs roamed freely, and every photo we took of the mountain scenery looked like it belonged in a magazine – truly an ideal wilderness retreat. Even more impressive than the breathtaking scenery was the incredibly thoughtful service that made us feel right at home. I accidentally spilled milk tea and stained the front desk, but the staff cleaned it up meticulously without a word of complaint. When we returned in heavy rain, a dedicated staff member walked us all the way to our car under an umbrella and back to the hotel. When my child suffered from altitude sickness, oxygen tanks were delivered multiple times throughout the night, available instantly whenever we called. I even left my facial cleanser behind in a rush when checking out, and the hotel proactively shipped it to our next hotel free of charge. With the romantic setting of the snowy mountain and the vast lawn, combined with such delicate and warm hospitality, there was no sense of unfamiliar distance. It truly felt like having a gentle home at the foot of the snow-capped mountain.

Pauline's was easily one of the best hotels we stayed at during our trip to Yunnan. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The hotel manager was incredibly attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay. When we had an early morning trip planned to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (Yulong Mountain), they even arranged a takeaway breakfast for us so we wouldn't miss out on our meal. The hotel is located in the charming Yuhu Village, which turned out to be one of our favorite places in the region. Since the village has controlled vehicle access between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., the hotel helped coordinate our license plate registration with the gatekeepers, making arrival completely hassle-free. Yuhu Village itself is a destination worth experiencing. Horses and cars share the same narrow streets, giving the village a unique and authentic atmosphere. The village is filled with locally owned cafés, bakeries, and restaurants. One local restaurant we visited served vegetables and free-range chicken grown and raised by the owners themselves, making the meals feel especially fresh and authentic. We also loved the croissants from a nearby bakery and the burgers from a café down the road. The mountain views from many of these spots were simply beautiful. The food at Pauline's was another highlight and never disappointed. We ended up having dinner there several times during our stay, enjoying both local dishes and Western options. Breakfast was hearty and satisfying, typically consisting of freshly prepared noodles or wontons accompanied by a selection of side dishes. Nighttime desserts were also provided and something to look forward to. Everything was well made and provided a great start/end to the day. Because we were staying for an extended period, the hotel also arranged complimentary pickup and drop-off services from the train station, which was greatly appreciated. Compared to the more famous old towns, Yuhu felt cooler, quieter, and far less crowded. Didi rides were easy to arrange, although food deliveries could take a little longer due to the location. That said, we never felt the need to leave the village as it had everything we needed. The rooms and facilities were modern, comfortable, and beautifully designed—every corner felt photo-worthy. We happened to visit during the rainy season, which was both a blessing and a curse. While the clouds and mist often obscured the mountain views, they also created a magical atmosphere and meant significantly fewer crowds. Overall, Pauline's offers a perfect combination of warm hospitality, stylish accommodations, excellent food, and an unforgettable village experience. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a more authentic and peaceful alternative to the busier tourist areas around Lijiang.

🫶 Not a shill! Highly recommend for those who love peace and quiet! I originally came for the terrace and the snow-capped mountain view, but I was deeply touched by the warm atmosphere and all the thoughtful details! Before check-in, they proactively contacted me and sent all relevant information like the address, directions, and activities. They always offered to help with luggage, greeted me warmly whenever I came and went, and thoughtfully asked if I needed transportation or meals. It wasn't just commercial politeness; you could feel that they were genuinely good and sincere people! 🌄 The rooms with a second-floor terrace have an absolutely stunning view. You can see the 'golden mountains' at sunrise and sunset right from your room, with the snow-capped mountains practically at your fingertips when you're lying in bed. All the pictures were taken in the room with my phone! Absolutely amazing! I also stayed in a triangular vaulted room and loved the ceiling design! I slept incredibly well! The room photos are exactly what you get; absolutely no misleading pictures! 🍈 The day I arrived, as soon as I settled in, afternoon tea was delivered to my room. It wasn't some perfunctory pre-made stuff; there was delicious ice cream cake and fragrant rose tea! On my last day, I had to leave for the snow mountain before dawn and would miss breakfast, so the night before, the lady prepared a take-out breakfast and delivered it to my room – super thoughtful! After a day of playing, I didn't have an appetite for afternoon tea, so they brought me a full plate of fresh fruit. I was so touched! Every detail shows their sincerity! 🏘️ The hotel is not in the city center, so it's very quiet! During the day, the hotel can arrange transport to the city center, and it's also easy to get a taxi if you go out yourself. Baisha is a small town, different from the hustle and bustle of Lijiang, but it's quiet and convenient. A short walk takes you to the ancient town, and barbershops and convenience stores are all nearby. Because of this hotel, I love this small town even more!!!

Room: The moment I opened the door, I saw the snow-capped mountains framed by the window, which immediately put me in a great mood – a fantastic first impression. The room decor is quite minimalist, and all the appliances are top brands, like a Dyson hairdryer, a Xiaomi garment steamer, a Ji Hotel kettle, a Marshall speaker, a hot water shower with a temperature display, and a projection screen with pre-loaded memberships. It's perfect for just staying in and relaxing. Amenities: They offer complimentary afternoon tea with cake, coffee, and juice, and 'good night milk' in the evening. The breakfast looks simple but is a healthy combination. The courtyard has some photo op installations and eaves for taking pictures. There are also two very friendly dogs in the courtyard who love to interact. Service: The butler was always available when called, and the service was excellent – truly capturing the essence of a 'windy courtyard' (referring to a cozy, inviting atmosphere). Overall, I'm very satisfied.

Stepping out, the snow-capped mountains loom majestically over the garden. In the morning, they're shrouded in mist, transforming into a rose gold spectacle by evening – a truly enchanting and therapeutic view. The room's window frames act like a living painting, allowing you to watch the clouds drift by from the comfort of your bed. The service is incredibly attentive, from hot milk delivered late at night to sharing secret photo spots. The most heartwarming touches were the Bernese Mountain dog bringing my slippers and the cat curling up on my lap for a nap, making it feel like a home nestled in the forest. When I left, the dog even walked me to the car. I've already made plans to return. 🏔️🐾

Seriously, you haven't truly experienced Lijiang if you haven't visited Taohuawu. I feel incredibly lucky to have chosen Taohuawu among countless B&Bs. It was absolutely worth the hour-long drive from the city! This was easily the most unforgettable part of my entire Yunnan trip. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. Every single staff member was delightful and incredibly thoughtful, and the service was impeccable throughout. Even the hotel amenities showed a great attention to detail! Our original room didn't have the best view, but the butler thoughtfully moved us to a different one. I was so touched, I practically wanted to live there forever! I tried several activities, and even though I wasn't great at them personally, it was still a wonderful experience. Plus, the chef's cooking is incredibly delicious – it tasted like traditional wood-fired meals! In the evening, it drizzled a bit, and the blue hour was absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, we missed the bonfire party, which was replaced by a fireside drink session. I even got to try Huang Bo's handmade butter tea, which had a lot of salt at first, haha, but tasted much better after adding sugar. I also had the black tea he brewed. The breakfast was excellent too. I had mentioned not eating pork at dinner, and they remembered at breakfast, even reminding us that some soup bases contained pork. They truly remember their customers' preferences. Since we were rushing to go to the snow mountain in the morning, they even packed breakfast for us, and the fruit at the front desk was incredibly delicious! So thoughtful! Before leaving, I bought a can of Taohuawu tea as a souvenir. I truly love this place. The only minor thing is that because the environment is so natural and beautiful, there are a lot of little critters, but everything else was perfect. I hope their business flourishes, and all the other details are in the pictures. I hope to visit again someday!

This hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable! Situated right near Baisha Ancient Town and at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, it boasts a prime, front-row view of the mountain. With unspoiled agricultural land in front, the panoramic views are completely unobstructed. You can soak in the majestic snow-capped peaks right from your room, and even witness the breathtaking 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' spectacle from your bed. The ambiance and viewing experience were incredible, making this the most delightful stay of our Lijiang trip. The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. As we stayed for two nights, the hotel kindly arranged airport transfers, making everything seamless and stress-free. They also provided daily shuttle service to and from Baisha Ancient Town, which was super convenient for exploring and saved us the hassle of driving or finding taxis. Beyond that, the hotel offered immersive Naxi cultural experiences like tea pressing and 'Jiama' woodblock printing, which allowed us to truly delve into local customs and added so much richness and fun to our journey. The staff were consistently warm and attentive throughout our stay. They greeted us cheerfully, patiently recommended local specialty foods and off-the-beaten-path routes, and all their suggestions were incredibly useful. During downtime, they'd even invite guests to gather downstairs for tea and a chat. Their genuine and heartfelt approach made us feel completely at ease and welcome, as if we were visiting our own backyard. Their meticulous care and concern were evident in every interaction, truly making us feel at home. The guest rooms were spacious, and the amenities were comprehensive and well-equipped with everything you could need, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The combination of the unparalleled scenic views and outstanding soft and hard services far exceeded our expectations. Whether you're looking for a relaxing vacation or an immersive Lijiang experience, I highly recommend it. This will definitely be my top choice for accommodation on my next visit to Lijiang!
