The hotel is situated next to a golf course, offering a peaceful and quiet environment even during the day. The room was spacious and well-appointed; however, it tended to be warm at night due to the centralized air conditioning being set to heating mode. Sliding open the balcony door provided a welcome flow of cool, natural air. There is a self-managed GS25 convenience store located in the lobby—perfect for grabbing snacks or daily necessities. The hotel also provides plenty of open-air parking spaces right in front of the building, which is convenient for guests with vehicles. While the location is ideal for sightseeing—close to the O’Sulloc Green Tea Museum, Innisfree Jeju House, and Jeju Premium Outlet adjacent to Shinhwa World Resort—it’s worth noting that the surrounding area within the hotel becomes quite dimly lit at night. Whether walking or driving, guests should exercise extra caution in the evenings due to the limited lighting. The hotel is also approximately a 35-minute drive from three of Jeju’s most iconic natural landmarks: Jeongbang Waterfall, Daepo Jusangjeolli Cliff, and Cheonjeyeon Waterfall.

This hotel is located on the south coast of Jeju Island, about 7 km from the Jusangjeolli Cliff. All rooms offer ocean views and come with their own pool. The rooms are clean and tidy, and it's about a 10-minute walk to the beach. We even saw a pod of dolphins 🐬 while strolling there after dinner! Each building has a microwave and a water dispenser on the first floor, so you can easily heat up ready-to-eat meals bought from the supermarket. It's also quite convenient, about a 15-minute taxi ride to the Olle Market. The hotel service is excellent too. Overall, it's great and highly recommended!

First, my initial thoughts: I was prepared for a 'prison-like' room before checking in, but staying here, I actually found the room small but cozy! Coupled with other advantages, the actual experience exceeded my expectations. Now, for the pros: 1. **Rich Community Facilities:** Besides the accommodation buildings, there's a standalone coffee shop, a standalone small bar (received a free beer voucher upon check-in), a GS25 convenience store (the female staff member was very friendly), a gift shop (at the front desk), and a breakfast/lunch restaurant (you can get a discount if you purchase breakfast at the front desk a day in advance). 2. **Excellent Location for Olle Trail 1:** It's very convenient for those doing Olle Trail Route 1. You can walk to Gwangchigi Beach, the starting point of Route 1, in about 10 minutes. 3. **Friendly Staff:** All the service staff were very friendly and could communicate well in English. 4. **Spacious Bathroom:** Although the room itself was small, the bathroom and shower area were quite spacious. 5. **Free Airport Shuttle:** This was an incredibly valuable service. I took the 10:30 AM shuttle to the airport. No reservation was needed, the bus arrived on time, and it took about an hour to reach the airport. Areas for improvement: 1. **Lack of Hooks in Room:** My room had no hooks, except for two small ones in the toilet. I suggest adding one more in the main room without taking up extra space (I saw some other smaller room types had them). 2. **Soap Dispenser Design:** The hand soap dispenser had a short pump, which was inconvenient to use when my hands were dirty. A longer nozzle would be much better. Overall, it was a very good stay. I would consider staying here again if I plan to do other Olle trails on the Seongsan side.

Being in Jungmun Tourist Complex is really convenient and fun. There were plenty of activities and sights to see within the huge resort area. Seaside Arden itself was had several low-rise blocks of rooms, with plenty of parking lots conveniently located right at the doorsteps. Our room was premium family and it was huge. Washer and clothes rack were very useful. Thoughtful to provide room slippers and bathroom slippers (not those disposable ones) Some improvements - room lightings can be more gentle, instead of the current white light. - dryer of washing machine does not work. But our clothes still dry the next morning as we had used the airrcon fan function to blow at them whole night

It’s a great value hotel. The room was clean. There’s designated parking near the hotel. The rooftop pool is more of a wading pool. Lots of local restaurants around the hotel. The photos are of our room and the view from our room.

The CU closes at 11pm. Self laundry accepts credit card payments. They only gave us 1 room card however, we ended up with 2 because we accidentally locked ourselves out at one point. The 2 double bed rooms were simple and clean. Bathroom is a decent size. Only had a shower which we like. It came with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The body wash spelt kind of weird though but we were still glad to have some available. The bath towels do not come with Americanized bath towels, they are actually very small like a neck towel but we worked with it. The bathroom has a bidet, a hairdryer and hand soap. AC was great and glad it came with a remote to control the temperature. The light switch located on the drawer was very convenient. Everyday the housekeepers would replace our towels and give us 4 bottles of water or they would leave it outside our door if we don’t want to be disturbed. The hotel is in the middle of the mountains. And the closest town is about 15 minute drive. Recommended getting a rental car. All in all our experience was great, we love Jeju and we loved the view of our hotel room.

First of all - the perfect stay, favouriting. This is pretty much a two-floor townhouse with widest possible 3 bed rooms and all facilities included (plus three toilets and bath-tube). Very warm at winter. Very enjoyable stay. A bit of details. The unit is a part of mini-city of similar houses around. It is built right in the forest. The architects were brave enough to keep original trees around, so your windows are looking directly into the forest - with all the singing birds, tree branches nearly touch your windows (btw, the third photo is from one of the windows). It is very silent place, with breathtaking volcano views. From facilities point of view, the project looks like suffered from financial hardship - most of the things in the minicity that were planned - are still on the plan or were outsourced to another companies (though, I am sure, once the project is completed - the price will double at least). There is no restaurant as such (at the time of writing), at or even around the place; swimming pool is largely incomplete. The BBQ mini-room in the center of the house (which is directly under naked sky) totally rot beyond repair, but I admire designers decision to build it. Never saw anything like this before. I bet it can be rebuilt. Deliveries to that area does not work - too far. So if you hungry at night - you don't have too much of options than a ramyon or cooking yourself (saying this, we discovered 이승악식당 next door - saved us greatly at lunch time). Gym equipment looked very rich, though the gym room is a bit disproportional in size - barely fits it all. Btw, we found a great table tennis table there. Overall it's a great civilization escape. Few things to be planned ahead but waking up by the sun shining directly to your eyes - unbeatable. I believe it's the one, where wife's and husband's opinions differ :).

This is a very outdated hotel. Some parts are renovated and some are not. The parts that are not give an unpleasant feeling. There's no way to know that you booked in the outdated part of the hotel. In addition, you are booking a RESORT but you have to pay extra for the pool, per guest, every day. A resort yes! It wasn't nice. The service is pleasant.

We stayed in hotel for 8 nights, and we absolutely loved it. Perfect location in quiet place, availability of public transport, very tasty breakfast. Room was super clean and spacious. Easy to find

Staying at ShinShin Hotel Jeju Ocean and honestly… location is 💯 Just minutes away from iconic spots like Eodolgae Rock, Cheonjiyeon Waterfall, scenic trails, and the lively Jeju Olle Market—everything is so accessible. The food? Surprisingly good. The room? Huge, spotless linens, and a wow factor with a massive smart TV—perfect for Netflix & YouTube nights after long walks. Comfortable, clean, convenient… definitely a great base for exploring Jeju 🖤🌊
