"This hotel is located in S1. I took a tuk-tuk from near S2 to the hotel, which took less than 20 minutes. Locals might pay 20-30 pesos, but the driver charged me 50 pesos, perhaps because I had a suitcase or I'm a foreigner. For first-time visitors to Boracay, this hotel isn't in the bustling commercial area, but for those on a vacation, its location is excellent. First, the hotel is situated within a large shopping complex. On B1, there's a Robinsons Supermarket where you can buy plenty of food, drinks, and daily necessities. There's also a visa extension office; I saw some online comments about people extending their stay there. The complex also has several restaurants that are much more affordable than those near D'Mall. Second, taking a shortcut behind the hotel, you can reach S1 beach in 5-10 minutes on foot. It's close to Diniwid Beach, and you can walk to a popular photo spot and Willy's Rock. You can also find activities like sunset sailing on the beach. The water here is more expansive than S2, and the sand is finer. The hotel provides two bath towels daily, which you can take out using a card. Since I didn't stay on the beach for long, I didn't use this amenity. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service to different beaches, but you need to book in advance, so I didn't use that either. The hotel has a large swimming pool, perfect for a vacation. Each floor has purified water, and rooms have large reusable bottles for refilling. The room was spacious, very clean, and had a balcony where I could hang swimwear to dry. My room faced the street, so it wasn't as quiet as it could be, but I'm a good sleeper, so it didn't bother me. Check-in took a bit longer, as there were many documents to sign and a deposit was required, which could be paid by credit card."

"This is a wonderful hotel, exactly as described, and the photos are completely accurate. The staff is incredibly friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay throughout your vacation. Any issues that arose were resolved in minutes. You can tell they truly value their reputation. Just a heads-up: payment at the hotel is cash-only. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, beyond words. It's right in the heart of all the entertainment and leisure spots, and only a 5-minute walk to the sea. I do want to mention one significant drawback: there was a lot of noise from equipment operating near our room, which was quite unpleasant. You do get used to it over time and eventually tune it out, but it might be an important consideration for some. In the last few days of our stay, the hot water started to disappear, becoming only lukewarm, and this issue couldn't be resolved. Also, the Wi-Fi suddenly stopped working completely on our last night (Friday to Saturday) without any explanation, so we had to use mobile internet until check-out. For us, the breakfasts were a notable downside – the selection of dishes was extremely limited. Coffee was only served from a pot (likely instant), and coffee from the machine was an extra charge. However, after I brought this up, the issue with the coffee machine was resolved. For the next six breakfasts, they made complimentary machine coffee for my partner and me. Special thanks to the entire hotel team and for the lovely daily notes in our room that brightened our mood and made our vacation even more enjoyable!"

"Me and my partner had an amazing stay with Mandarin Island Hotel. Everything stood out. Shortly after arriving at the property, we were greeted by warm and lovely employees. Welcomed like a family. They’re very attentive to evrything that you need. Complimentary Asian and Western breakfast buffet was the best. Also, the property is located to almost everything. From local restaurants, bars and especially it’s a beach front hotel. Would love to stay here again in the future."

"PERFECT FOR PEOPLE WORKING REMOTELY! 60-75MPBS CLEANLINESS – Housekeeping cleans the room daily, although the floor mat and bedding may not always be replaced after every cleaning. They change the towels, toiletries, and bottled water register. LOCATION – 15 minutes drive from the main area, but the hotel offers free shuttle service to/from Station 2 Jollibee D’Mall every 30 minutes. During drop-off, you can request to be dropped along the way just inform the driver. If you prefer quieter and less crowded beach area just stay in Savoy which we personally loved because it was clean and peaceful. Walking there takes around 5minutes or less and I think Belmont is closer to the beach area. The only issue is walking to the beach may not be PWD or senior-friendly, so it’s better to request assistance from the front desk for a ride to the beach coast area. SERVICE – 1000000/10! The staff were incredibly accommodating, warm, and friendly throughout our stay. AMENITIES – Great pool, excellent gym area, and I absolutely loved their breakfast selection. The WiFi was also reliable and fast — we never encountered any internet issues during our stay."

"Our recent stay at Astoria Boracay was a fantastic experience for our family trip! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and went out of their way to accommodate us. The location is unbeatable—right on Station 1's beautiful beachfront, which is perfect for families looking to avoid the more crowded areas of Boracay. The rooms were modern, spacious, and very clean. They had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, and we loved the beach-inspired decor that felt cozy and tropical. The pool area was another highlight for the kids, and there were plenty of lounge chairs for us to relax while they enjoyed the water. It was a memorable time for the family especially to our daughter who celebrated her birthday there. They made my daughter's birthday extra special with their complimentary cake and greetings set up in our room. It was a good surprise for her. "Stayed on the same floor with the resto and reception. Across the resto. Very noisy sa bar up to 10-11pm. You can also hear yung dumadaan And kabilang room. During our stay, The other room may nag iiyakan, other room may sumusuka. Haha!🥴 Across the room naman, sound ng spoon and fork na inaayos until midnight. Pag may dumadaan rinig mo lahat. My sister had to use noise cancelling earphones just to sleep. On the other hand. Goods yung turn down service. May pa goodnight snack whenever we go back sa room after dinner. And bed and pillow- soft and comfy. Cozy room also. Helpful staff and approachable. Noisy lang talaga for those na di makatulog ng maingay. Also, when we checked in. Sa madarin island yung drop and we had to walk to mandarin nest for about 5-7mins walk since di accessible ng etrike yung hotel. If you want to ride an e trike naman, you have to walk thru d-mall and to the road. Dmall is right beside the hotel. May jolibee and mang inasal sa baba ng hotel."

"This was my first time in the Philippines so I didn’t know what I was getting into. But this hotel was amazing! Super friendly staff, beautiful rooms, seaside views from the room, great location on front beach, and the breakfast was delicious 😋 will stay hear again when I return to boracay. This hotel is a must for boracay salamat po to the staff ❣️"

"Really nice place for families. They have a lot of amenities and activities plus a private access beach in the keyhole/newcoast area. We got upgraded from a Superior to Premier room for free but it’s probably because some of the areas are closed for maintenance (night safari, gastropub, kudetah district) but still with that there’s still a lot of stuff to do inside the resort. Breakfast buffet was okay, nothing notable, a little slow on the refill, and has fewer options. Shuttle is 24 hrs and normally arrives in 10-15 mins but for some reason when we’re checking out it took atleast 40 mins before we were able to get one out of the resort even when we already have a gate pass ready and almost missed our flight. With that exception, it’s still a pretty good experience."
