"The experience from this hotel Fairways & Bluewater exceeds my expectation in fact one of the best hotel / resort in my entire travel by far. We were so delighted by the amenities of the hotel - there were 9 pools from different location of the resort with the infinity pool and the pool party which has limited schedule only. The hotel is situated inside a peaceful area. They have private beachfront that has access to the Key hole cave. Clear kayak for photo ops definitely a must try. The breakfast was truly a plus factor with a wife spread of selection. There is a 24hours shuttle inside the resort that will get in you within the vicinity and out of the main gate if you want to go out for night life or just to buy supplies or food at Citymall which was just accross the main gate of Fairways. Lastly, I wiould like to recommend all of their staff who were very helpful, polite, courteous and will definitely cheer you up because they were so warm and super helpful and friendly. This is now my go-to hotel whenever I have plans of going to Boracay! Thank you Fairways & Bluewaters I'm so in love with ypur place!!! 🥰😊❤️💯❤️🥰"

"It was an amazing place - best kept secret at station 3 It’s not in a smack where the chaos are. But it’s few mins by foot or by e-trycle to station 2 and 1. Room are spacious and the staff are super friendly. The only suggestion I have is that the beach reclining chair are not fully reclining horrible for sunbathing. Communal toilet near the reception is not regularly clean. Would be great if the restaurant is serving lunch and cocktails during sunset time. Unfortunately it only serves breakfast"

"My friends had a wonderful 3-day, 2-night stay at Boracay Ocean Club Beach Resort. They loved the beachfront location, the relaxing pool, and the delicious breakfast with a good variety of options. The rooftop pool was an added bonus, offering a great place to unwind and enjoy the views. They also shared that the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout their stay. Overall, they had a great experience and would gladly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Boracay."

"Initially, we were given a connecting room, and the soundproofing was terrible; you could hear everything happening through the walls and door in the next room. On the plus side, the hotel was accommodating and moved us to a higher category, non-connecting room the next day. Unfortunately, this hotel is in serious need of a good renovation, both inside and out. The location is good, and the sun loungers on the beach are comfortable, but there aren't many, so you have to reserve a spot early in the morning. Several times after housekeeping, we found other people's hair in the bed, which was quite unpleasant. Only one breakfast stood out during our entire stay; on other days, the breakfasts were sparse with limited choices. Overall, the hotel is suitable for a short stay, but be aware of the issues mentioned above."

"This hotel is right in the heart of the action on White Beach, Station 2. This is our second year in a row staying here, and we have no regrets! The staff are excellent and always welcoming, quick to resolve any issues or requests. Upon check-in, they offer a refreshing welcome drink and a cool, damp towel. There's also a complimentary foot massage for guests, though we never got around to using it. Every evening, they bring a small plate of treats to your room for tea, which is a lovely touch. Breakfasts are good, with plenty of options to choose from. There's a nice pool with a non-alcoholic bar on the 5th floor, and a Sky bar on the 4th floor that's open in the evenings. There's also a small gym with equipment in good condition. The only downside is that rooms on the 3rd floor, especially those facing the hall, can be quite noisy in the mornings and if you like to nap in the afternoon. Simply ask for a room in a different wing of the hotel or on a higher floor. Overall, it's an excellent value for the price! "

"We had an amazing experience at Mandarin Island Hotel during our vacation in Boracay Island. The hotel combines comfort, convenience, and outstanding service perfectly. The beachfront location was ideal, giving us easy access to the beautiful white sand beach, restaurants, and nearby attractions. Our room was spotless, cozy, and very relaxing after a long day of exploring the island. What made our stay extra special was the kindness and professionalism of the staff. They were always accommodating, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of choices, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was peaceful and welcoming. We truly enjoyed every moment and would gladly recommend Mandarin Island Hotel to anyone visiting Boracay. Definitely a five-star experience!"

"We had a fantastic stay at Canyon Hotels & Resorts Boracay! The hotel is clean, modern, and offers excellent value for money. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to relax after a full day of exploring the island. The staff were warm, friendly, and always willing to help. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and the breakfast, which had a good selection of tasty options each morning. Although it’s not directly on the beachfront, White Beach is only a short walk away, and the location is convenient with nearby restaurants, shops, and D’Mall. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for a peaceful stay while still being close to Boracay’s main attractions."

"This was my first time in the Philippines so I didn’t know what I was getting into. But this hotel was amazing! Super friendly staff, beautiful rooms, seaside views from the room, great location on front beach, and the breakfast was delicious 😋 will stay hear again when I return to boracay. This hotel is a must for boracay salamat po to the staff ❣️"

"So let's begin with the positives. The staff is excellent, beyond excellent they will go out of everything to make you feel accommodated. They are unbelievably attentive. Another positive aspect is its location which is literally right on the sand. Can't get much closer to the beach than this hotel. And did I mention that the staff was very accommodating? When you want to lounge on the beach, the staff will rush out immediately to position the lounges and put towels down. They truly work hard to assist your every need when you are on the beach. An improvement would be updated lounge chairs with cushions but you are not lounging on the sand unless you want to. So as I said, I want to start off with a positive but there are serious negatives about this hotel in fact to the point at which I would suggest booking a different hotel if at all possible. First on the list of negatives is that the food at the restaurant is less than mediocre. Yes you will get breakfast but in all honesty, you might just want to pass that up. Nothing is kept hot...nothing. Everything is served lukewarm or cold except for the eggs which they do make right away...the fresh cooked eggs is the only exception to luke-warm or in some cases even slightly undercooked food. However, what should be cold is never cold, for example even though the milk has a sign that says cold milk it is always room temperature as well as the juices. The cold milk is warm...always,,,,while the food that should be warm or hot is always cold or virtually well on its way to being cold. It's interesting that even though they have the small gas flame burners at the bottom of containers for food, they are never on. Additionally I would recommend that if you are not accustomed to luke-warm to cold Filipino style food again, you may want stay eat somewhere else because most of the food served is Filipino style and while Filipino food can be quite good, not here. Now for the accommodations. The rooms are at best motel style rooms with the AC blasting down on you constantly. Your only alternative is to turn the AC on and off throughout the night to get a break. The rooms themselves are rustic and extremely noisy because everything faces the courtyard and you have concrete surrounding you so it echoes in any conversation especially at night. Sound just echoes throughout the entire place. There is constant noise so bring your ear plugs. I will say, staff keeps everything very clean so no problems there at all. It's just that the entire facility is not well-designed or well maintained for most travelers' expectations. For example, The hot water in the shower it's turned on similar to a faucet bathtub style but the water literally trickles out (at least in my room). Fortunately you do get some hot water coming through the shower head and while it is barely enough to take a shower, it is not what you would expect at a hotel price. I selected this hotel because it has so many good reviews online and it has a lot of 10s out of10s. One site lists it as 4.9 out of 5, I thought that was great but after a few nights, I am convinced that these reviews are from the owners, owner friends or staff or perhaps all of them. It is completely beyond my imagination that this hotel can get those kinds of reviews especially as there are other hotels that are around to compare with. I have traveled a lot and this is probably not more then a five to six at most out of 10 and the only reason it's that high because of staff. Again....5.5 to 10 is my rating on this motel/hotel."

"This is a wonderful hotel, exactly as described, and the photos are completely accurate. The staff is incredibly friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay throughout your vacation. Any issues that arose were resolved in minutes. You can tell they truly value their reputation. Just a heads-up: payment at the hotel is cash-only. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, beyond words. It's right in the heart of all the entertainment and leisure spots, and only a 5-minute walk to the sea. I do want to mention one significant drawback: there was a lot of noise from equipment operating near our room, which was quite unpleasant. You do get used to it over time and eventually tune it out, but it might be an important consideration for some. In the last few days of our stay, the hot water started to disappear, becoming only lukewarm, and this issue couldn't be resolved. Also, the Wi-Fi suddenly stopped working completely on our last night (Friday to Saturday) without any explanation, so we had to use mobile internet until check-out. For us, the breakfasts were a notable downside – the selection of dishes was extremely limited. Coffee was only served from a pot (likely instant), and coffee from the machine was an extra charge. However, after I brought this up, the issue with the coffee machine was resolved. For the next six breakfasts, they made complimentary machine coffee for my partner and me. Special thanks to the entire hotel team and for the lovely daily notes in our room that brightened our mood and made our vacation even more enjoyable!"
