"I first discovered Sawasdee Village by chance while walking around in the evening, and the atmosphere absolutely amazed me. It felt like a hidden oasis in the middle of the tourist chaos, so I decided to plan my next trip around staying here. The room itself was small but cozy and very clean, although a bit old and in need of some renovation. I had read about this in reviews beforehand, so I was prepared for it and booked only one night. Honestly, if the rooms were more modern, I would have gladly stayed for a week or longer. On the positive side, everything worked well: Wi-Fi was stable, the room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and I loved the canopy and the ceiling with glowing stars. The view from my window overlooked the beautiful garden, and the room even had a humidifier with essential oils, which made it smell wonderful. The property is simply stunning — two pools, a spa, a restaurant, water bars, billiards and table football, as well as plenty of cozy corners to relax in. It was a delight to stroll through the lush garden, sit by the fountains, and swing on the hammocks. Breakfast was included and offered a generous buffet with many choices. In the room I also had a capsule coffee machine, bottled water, tea, bathrobes, slippers, toiletries, insect repellent, cookies, and even a flashlight — such thoughtful details. The staff were very kind and welcoming. They helped with my luggage and allowed me to check in 1.5 hours earlier since my room was ready. The location is also convenient, close to the beach and shops, and I loved the little foot shower at the entrance to wash off sand before entering the hotel. As for value — it’s a bit mixed. On the one hand, the unique atmosphere and privacy are worth the price. On the other hand, I noticed that within the same hotel, villas with direct pool access were actually cheaper than the room I booked (although when I reserved my room, the pool villas were more expensive). Still, I think Sawasdee Village is a special place, perfect for a relaxing stay — even for something as romantic as a wedding photoshoot"

"Excellent stay overall. The hotel is spacious, clean, and very comfortable, great value for money. The room was larger than expected, with modern facilities and everything you need for a pleasant stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The only thing to keep in mind is that you’ll need to rent a scooter or grab a taxi to move around easily, as most attractions are a bit spread out. However, the location is still quite convenient. It’s close to Central Phuket Mall and only a short ride from many good restaurants. Definitely recommended if you’re looking for comfort and good value in Phuket."

"My stay here was great — truly amazing. The service was perfect, and the amenities were excellent. The rooms were modern yet still had that relaxed, island vibe, which I loved. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Just something to keep in mind: although the resort is right by the beach, it’s not really a swimming beach. But you can still enjoy a great swim in the pool and relax by the water. Everything else about the stay was wonderful."

"We stayed 4 nights and although overall it was a good experience, we were happy to leave and move onto the next resort. The staff is very friendly and polite, however, the wait time to get clean pool towels or just toilet paper or water can be very long. For example, our pool towels didn’t dry overnight due to humidity and we called reception to bring us new ones and took over one hour. They didn’t place any more toilet paper or water when they did the room in the morning, so the next morning, we had to call reception again to ask for them. It’s obviously not a big deal as the resort is super busy so we understand there’s lot for the stuff to do, but those are basic things that are expected, especially considering the price. The buffet breakfast is ok, there’s lot of variety but the food is not exceptional, again, this is probably due to the mass production as the resort is super busy. Too many unsupervised kids, lounges too close to each other. Again, overall it’s ok but we have stayed at better resorts."

"I really loved the room here! The decor is modern with a subtle touch of Japanese style, which I found so charming. The room was very clean and the amenities were well provided. The only downside is that the car parking space is a bit limited. But overall, I had a great stay and was truly impressed!"

"We stayed in the Family Quadruple Room for three nights. The room itself was quite spacious and comfortable for three people, but there were a few issues that made the stay less pleasant. The shower area had no proper door, only a thin sliding curtain, which felt unsafe and uncomfortable as it doesn’t provide much privacy. The toilet door also couldn’t be locked and could easily open while in use. Another downside is that the hotel doesn’t have a lift, so carrying heavy luggage up and down the stairs was quite troublesome. For the price, it didn’t feel very worth it overall. On the positive side, the location is convenient if you mainly plan to visit Central Phuket and Big C, both nearby. However, transportation costs are quite high — about 200 baht for just a 3-minute ride to Central Phuket."

"The room is spacious, near the beach. A beach bag, towel, and slipper are provided. The only concern is that the main door to the lift and stairs is always open, with no guards around. It seems like everyone can go into the building. Walking to the pool on the rooftop is not really convenient as well."

"A newly built property equipped with all the comforts you need, whether for a short stay or a long one. The room has everything you might need, and free water is provided on every floor. Great workspaces, a rooftop restaurant, a game room, and a large gym with a multifunctional room as well. The highlight is the rooftop pool — truly a gem. Excellent value for money, I will definitely come back."

"We stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort Phuket Surin Beach for three nights with our family, occupying four rooms, and had a truly wonderful experience. The resort itself is beautiful—very family-friendly, with gorgeous pools and a perfect location just across the street from Surin Beach. It’s a fantastic area to enjoy Phuket without the heavy crowds of the more tourist-packed beaches. Our guest rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The service throughout our stay was outstanding. The team member who checked us in on the first night was incredibly kind, and every staff member we interacted with afterward was just as warm and welcoming. One of the couples we were traveling with had recently gotten married, and the staff surprised them with a lovely arrangement of towel art and flower petals on their bed—such a thoughtful touch. As an LGBTQ+ traveling couple, we felt completely safe, respected, and welcomed during our entire stay. Overall, this is a wonderful resort for families, couples, and anyone looking for a relaxing and friendly stay in Phuket. Highly recommended!"

"The Pamookkoo resort was an absolute pleasure to stay at! The 3 waterslides and massive pool is a great addition to this resort, and the restaurant served great food with lots of options to choose from. The breakfast buffet was absolutely massive with lots of choice! The staff were friendly and helpful! The gym was a great size with lots of equipment! And our room was so luxurious with a great sized bed and walk-in shower! The balcony was also a great addition to the room, plus the AC and hot water was great! The resort is in such a good location- in walking distance to countless bars and restaurants and also the night market. The beach is also a very short drive away. Overall our stay at Pamookoo resort was amazing and we would definitely stay here again!"
