"This is a pretty good hotel, very convenient for shopping and dining around. The breakfast was just okay, a bit limited in variety, but edible.
There's a female staff member from Hunan who is really nice. She proactively helped me at the front desk during check-in. Also, during check-in, there were staff members who helped with luggage.
I stayed in a deluxe pool room for 6 days. The room was on the side of the hotel's main pool, in a two-story building. Both the first and second floors are fine. When I checked in, I asked the front desk for a quieter room. They asked if I preferred the first or second floor, and I chose the second floor. They gave us room 2251, which is the third closest to the beach on the second floor of that building. The first picture shows the ocean view from the room's balcony.
The overall room size is very generous; the advertised area is accurate. It's much more honest than The Akara Hotel in Pattaya, which was the worst hotel I stayed at during my half-month trip. The discrimination against Chinese guests there was evident in every aspect.
I want to praise Trip.com. I booked the room over half a month in advance, costing more than ten thousand (including tax). Later, I found out the room price had dropped. Trip.com contacted the hotel for me, processed it, and promptly refunded several thousand in price difference."
