A private romantic guest suite located in the wine cellar on a high hill overlooking the lake. The lodging has its own private entrance and deck extending out to the lake. Outside the first bedroom window is a beautiful garden with fountain. The second bedroom looks out over the lake. It is newly renovated with bathroom, kitchenette, living room and bedrooms. My guests will also have access to my "Sky Deck" on the roof of my home giving the viewer one of the highest and best views of Canyon Lake and the Texas hill country. Many of my guests have celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and honeymoons here. It has been my privilege to share my home with them on those special occasions. This is the back unit of a fully-restored 1850s German home in downtown New Braunfels. The footprint became a duplex in the 1930s and we left it as such. The living room contains a "truth window" - a section where we left the original German fachwerk exposed for those who admire old homes to see some of the original settlers' handiwork. This property is right downtown - restaurants and bars are a block away. Also close to Schlitterbahn, the Comal river, and The Float In. This is one unit of a duplex in downtown New Braunfels. You will share a wall with the other rear unit and guests but you do have your own private porch and entrance. You can often hear live music coming from downtown New Braunfels in the evenings. Our condo is located just a few blocks from the charming German town of New Braunfels and is just 3 miles from historic Gruene Texas. This beautifully newly decorated condo is designed to reflect the blue/green river colors which is located just a few steps away. Inverness complex is located on the Comal Riverbank which provides clean, clear cool water that stays at 72 degrees year around. This limestone -based river has been drawing tubers, paddle boarders, snorkelers, and divers for years. You can see the world famous Schlitterbahn park just across the street. We have all the amenities adults and children can enjoy. You can put your tube in the river at the condo's private park on the river and go tubing without waiting in rental lines and paying for transportation. You can easily walk to Schlitterbahn, Comal tube chutes, restaurants and nightlife located two blocks to downtown New Braunfels. Inverness building has covered parking, elevators and luggage carriers to help move in and out. This condo features fully furnished two bedrooms/two full baths, comfortable living space, washer/dryer, kitchen and dining area.
