"This was my first time in Changxing. I booked the hotel online in advance, and I was quite satisfied with my stay. The receptionist, Leilei, was very helpful and friendly! 👍 We booked two rooms and she even upgraded them for us. My friend and I had a very pleasant stay. The scenery was beautiful, and the hotel also has a gym and a swimming pool. The pool was quite large and the water was very clean. The hotel's location was also good, next to the government building. We visited the nearby Datang Gongcha Tea Garden and Shuikou Tea Garden. The buffet and breakfast on the first floor of the hotel were excellent and plentiful. They also had afternoon tea ☕️ with coffee and desserts, which was very nice. I would definitely come back next time I have the chance."

"[Overall]: The software and hardware are very good. It goes without saying that it deserves to be ranked first in the Dragon Dream area. If you come to Dragon Dream and have enough budget, this is definitely the place. For details, refer to 4.1-4.7 Unexpected points. "This is our third time booking the Dragon Dream Ancient Town Hotel, and it continues to exceed our expectations! The hotel has a grand Chinese style, the rooms are spacious, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The balcony offers an expansive view; we booked a scenic room and enjoyed watching the ancient town's night view in the evening, and even the fireworks show from bed – a perfect experience. The penguin exhibit in the lobby is still a favorite with the kids and is quite unique. The underground passage leads directly to the performing arts complex, making it incredibly convenient to explore the ancient town and see shows without being exposed to the elements or having to take a detour. Check-in was efficient, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options. Parking is free for those driving, and it's very convenient for visiting the Grand Circus and the Animal World. It's suitable for both family trips and romantic getaways. "The hotel left a strong impression of disparity. While the exterior facade looked grand, the interior hardware, climate control, bathroom facilities, and overall hygiene all had significant shortcomings. 1. **Ineffective Climate Control Throughout:** The cooling in all public areas, including the lobby and restaurant, was extremely poor, making prolonged stays uncomfortable. Some areas even relied on portable air coolers. The in-room air conditioning barely functioned; it needed to be set to 1-2℃ and run for several hours before the room temperature would slowly drop. 2. **Aging and Damaged Bathroom Facilities, Poor User Experience:** The bathroom equipment showed severe wear and tear. The showerhead was badly clogged, resulting in a sporadic, weak trickle of water. When attempting to fill the bathtub, water leaked out as it was being filled. The bathroom facilities clearly lacked regular inspection and maintenance. 3. **Inadequate Room Hygiene Control, Prominent Insect Problem:** Small flying insects frequently appeared in the room, on the duvet, and on the curtains. Although there was a sign on the balcony door instructing guests to contact staff if they saw insects, it begs the question of why daily pest control isn't proactively performed during cleaning. 4. **Set-top Box Repeatedly Crashed for No Reason.** On the bright side, the hotel staff's attitude and response speed were satisfactory."

"Service: The service was excellent. A specialist contacted us a day in advance to help arrange a room with a fantastic view of the fireworks. They even sent a reminder message when it was time. Any questions I had were answered very quickly. I'm very satisfied. Facilities: It's a bit of a shame there's no fridge. The foot traffic is really high. We stayed two nights but couldn't get a table at the rooftop restaurant. The performance venue is conveniently located right across the street, but it gets very crowded and a bit hot. It's better to watch the fire show and fireworks from the room. Overall, I'm very happy with the room."

"As soon as I entered the manor, I felt another space. It is a homestay with pursuit and warmth. It is the absolute first choice for those who like quiet and private enjoyment. I stayed for two nights and it rained all day. I read books, listened to music and the sound of rain in the room. I got rid of the previous fatigue and completely completed a recharge. The first time I stayed in the manor under Anadu, I finally chose Songjing after comparison. The expectation before check-in is a high-end hotel, and the actual feeling is a villa with strong privacy. The environment is exquisitely located in a small piece of quiet birch valley forest. The fully enclosed operation model doubled my experience. There are three independent villas in the white house, and there is one on the day of our stay, which is very quiet and comfortable. The space design is strong, the open shower, the pool and the sauna are rich in functionality, and the books and configuration equipment in the room add effective leisure. The bed is facing the floor-to-ceiling windows and a view of pine forests, which is pleasing to the eye. Due to the intimate natural environment, the only downside is that it is difficult to avoid mosquitoes in the room, with some larger bugs crawling in the sink. Equipped with the whole butler service and custom catering. From check-in to check-out, the overall experience is comfortable, and the service is at a relatively high level in China. We stayed in the main building. The hygiene was good, and the breakfast had a wide variety of options. It was my first time seeing a buffet breakfast that included rice balls! The lawn in front of the main building was perfect for kids to run around, and there were chairs set up, making it a great spot for photos. There were even goalposts on the grass, but unfortunately, no soccer ball, and I didn't bring one either. That's my only regret. The hotel's children's facilities were also very comprehensive. There's an indoor playground, which is great for hot days, and an outdoor playground too. The weather wasn't too hot that day, so the kids had a blast at the outdoor playground. This time I took the elderly and children to stay in the Fireworks Building Family Suite. The overall experience was perfect and exceeded expectations! The suite has a wide space, reasonable partitions, and the family lives in a relaxed and comfortable place. The most surprising thing is the viewing balcony, facing the waters of the ancient town of Taihu Lake, without going downstairs to squeeze the crowd, without grabbing the viewing seat in advance, you can fully watch the whole iron flower, gorgeous fireworks and beautiful water curtain light show in the room. At night, the evening breeze is blowing to see the sky full of gold iron flowers, the lake fireworks reflect the water waves, the atmosphere is directly full, the children are particularly excited, the elders do not have to stand for a long time, the whole process is relaxed and comfortable.

Our whole family spent a pleasant, fulfilling, and unforgettable holiday at Shangyin Resort in Chuanbu, Changxing. The resort truly embodies the concept of ”hotel as part of the landscape,” with the babbling brooks and layered mountains stretching as far as the eye can see, making every day feel like living in a painting. Here, people and nature blend seamlessly together. We heard that the owner invested a whopping 200 million yuan in 2015, spending four years meticulously crafting this scenic spot to create Shangyin. The resort covers 200 acres, yet only has 40 guest rooms—this restraint itself is a luxury. The longer we stayed, the more we felt the care and sincerity of the builders in every corner. Regarding the accommodations: The layout, furnishings, amenities, and facilities of the rooms were all designed for comfort. It wasn't ostentatious luxury, but rather a sense of proportion designed by someone who truly understands life and rest. The bedding was especially reassuring—perfectly thick and soft against the skin, ensuring a restful and dreamless night's sleep. Even the smallest details, like the lighting, the blackout curtains, and the consistent shower water temperature, were just right. Regarding the food: The restaurant serves authentic local specialties, with fresh ingredients and restrained yet flavorful cooking—not the kind of perfunctory ”standard farmhouse cuisine” often served to tourists. Breakfast is also thoughtfully prepared; while the variety isn't extravagant, the essential hot porridge, side dishes, whole grains, and pastries are all elegantly presented and clean, making for a comfortable and satisfying meal. Regarding the staff: The staff here are highly qualified, providing warm and attentive service. From the front desk to the restaurant, from room service to shuttle bus service, every step demonstrates sincerity and meticulous attention. It's not a mechanical smile, but a genuine desire for you to relax here. It is precisely because of the excellent facilities and service that our whole family was able to completely unwind from our daily fatigue and truly enjoy a period of complete relaxation and rest. Changxing Chuanbu Shangyin Resort is undoubtedly a resort truly worth a special trip to, and one we will definitely return to. Five-star recommendation—well deserved.

Location & Transportation: This hotel is ideal for those traveling by car. The owner has essentially taken over an entire mountain, from the lake at the bottom to the tea house at the top, with fruit orchards and vegetable gardens in between. You can pick different fruits depending on the season. Hygiene: Very clean! Not a single strand of hair in the lobby. The cleaning staff starts early in the morning and is still tidying up past 11 PM, even meticulously cleaning each window. Breakfast: I had read reviews saying the breakfast had limited options, but this time, there were so many varieties! Plus, the stir-fried dishes changed daily. Perhaps because they're farm-to-table, all the vegetables were incredibly delicious and sweet! They also had pickled vegetables and bamboo shoot noodles, just like childhood. Service: All the staff greet you warmly; it feels more like a family-run hotel. If you're comparing it to a five-star hotel, you might find some differences, but the staff, especially the young ladies, remember your face. If you forget your key card and go to the front desk, they'll know your room number just by looking at you. A special shout-out to the young lady with an oval face and ponytail; she walked us to the door when we left and invited us back when the 'fried' season (likely a local delicacy or fruit) starts in August. Restaurant: The restaurant food is excellent! The ingredients are incredibly fresh. I highly recommend the fish head and tofu soup; it has absolutely no fishy taste! And the prices are very reasonable. Room Facilities: Since we stayed in a basic room type this time, the room wasn't huge, but the massive floor-to-ceiling windows offered a very expansive view. The only drawback is that the mountain opposite is a coal mine, which slightly affects the scenery. Activities: You can choose from paid activities like fishing, stand-up paddleboarding, and boat rides. Any fish you catch can be prepared for free at the restaurant.
