"Overall, it was a great stay. The hotel thoughtfully provided tips for altitude sickness in the room and prepared items and facilities to combat it, such as Coke, oxygen packs, and an oxygen supply system. The decor leans towards a Wabi-sabi style, and the buckwheat pillows were very comfortable to sleep on. You can watch the 'golden sun illuminating the mountain' from the 4th floor. Service: After booking this time, the hotel offered a ******* costume photoshoot experience. ******* clothes and headwear were available in the hotel lobby. After the shoot, we received 3 free original photos. This was a collaboration with NICO Travel Photography. The photographer was very professional 📷, snapped great shots 👍, was excellent at composition and finding the right light, and even guided our poses. We got the photos quickly, and then back at the hotel, a dedicated staff member helped us choose the best ones. The entire process was very pleasant, and we got some amazing 'life photos' – fantastic!"

High Mountain Resort Meili Hotel located at Feilai Temple, Deqin County, Diqin State, Yunnan Province, which is nearby the Yunnan-Tibet Highway. Adhering to the design Concept “Haven, Earth, and I were produced together, and all things and I are one” of High Mountain Resort; combine with Meri Snow Mountain which is one of the Buddhism sacred mountain in Tibetan Area, modest luxury appears in everywhere. For the ultimate lifestyle accommodations, all rooms are equipped with first-class equipment including satellite television, free WIFI and large bathroom with bath products from L’Occitane. Meri Snow Mountain is one of the Buddhism sacred mountain in Tibetan Area, the height of main peak is 6740 meters, and there’s no one can reach the top of the peak until now. Meanwhile, it’s the unique Peak that prohibit to climb because of the cultural protection. Feilai Temple was originally built in 1614 during Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) with a history of 391 years, 1.1km away from hotel and will take 4 minutes by car. It was built according to the mountain terrain with architecture at random discretion. Along the way to Feilai Temple, you can enjoy lines of ancient pine, dappled shadows and winding rivers. Directly facing the Kawakarpo Peak, Feilai Temple is famous for its viewing deck for amazing scenes of the magnificent Meri Snow Mountain. The spa features a selection of locally-inspired treatments together with an extensive menu of signature therapies; expertly trained therapists create sensory journeys for guests with a range of holistic wellness and pampering treatments.

"Here's what I liked: It's easy to park here, and they even have charging stations. The overall environment is really nice and peaceful; you can take a leisurely stroll around. It feels like there's still a lot of potential for further development. Since it wasn't busy on the day we checked in, they upgraded us to a deluxe snow view room on the second floor. We could literally lie in bed and enjoy the snow-capped mountains – pictures 7, 8, and 9 are actual shots of the view from the room. Some of the room amenities have been updated, like the smart toilet and the Laifen hairdryer. Plus, there's a private shortcut to the Feilai Temple observation deck, so you don't have to walk out to the main alley, which saves a lot of time. Here's what I didn't like: The decor is a bit old-fashioned, with a Tibetan-style, all-wood furniture aesthetic. I imagine older guests might appreciate it more. There's only one elevator to the second floor, and sometimes when you press '2', it just doesn't go up. It's really hit-or-miss and quite frustrating. Also, we had an issue where the room card didn't activate the power. Overall, I'd say the Gaoshan Villa's positives definitely outweigh its negatives. Just being able to see the snow mountains from your bed makes it worth it. However, at this price point during the off-season, you might find other good hotel options."

"This was the most satisfying accommodation during my trip to Yunnan, offering a relaxed and cozy feeling, like staying at a friend's house. Room: We stayed in the 'Reding' room type. It was spacious and warm, with exquisite design details everywhere. View: Our main purpose for visiting Deqin for three days was to see the Meili Snow Mountains. The hotel's restaurant and cafe face the 13 peaks directly, offering an excellent view. As long as the weather permits, you can gaze at the snow-capped mountains all day long, and there's no need to jostle with crowds to watch the sunrise (P.S. The cafe also provides tripods for guests to use for photography). Food: Far exceeded expectations. Breakfast was served until 1 PM, with a wide variety of options, perfect for enjoying the 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise' and then going back for a nap before eating. The room also came with fruits and snacks, followed by afternoon tea, 'stove-boiled tea' (围炉煮茶), and late-night snacks. It's worth mentioning that the main meals were also delicious. In such a remote place as Wunongding, you really don't have to worry about food. Service: The butler and all hotel staff provided attentive care. When my family member experienced mild altitude sickness and a fever, the butler brought pot after pot of brown sugar ginger tea and fever patches. Other staff members would also offer caring greetings every time they saw us. Although the weather was cold, the warmth of the hospitality was truly heartwarming."

"The room was fantastic! I was pleasantly surprised to find disposable face towels by the sink. I've stayed in much more expensive hotels that didn't offer this, so I really appreciate this thoughtful detail. It's also perfect for catching the sunrise over the 'Golden Mountain' (referring to a scenic view at sunrise). If you can't get out of bed, you can just open the curtains with the controller next to the bed and enjoy the view as soon as you open your eyes. Afterwards, you can close them and go right back to sleep. The hotel offers many experiential services. I booked a sachet-making workshop; you can make as many as you like, and they're beautifully crafted and smell wonderful. My family loved them when I brought them home. The BBQ was also delicious, and the restaurant offers an incredible view for dinner."

"I've been wanting to visit Ji Xia Shan for five years, and I absolutely love the overall design style. It was just as I imagined, and the service was incredibly warm; everyone was smiling and friendly. The rooftop bar has little notebooks where you can write your own stories and read others' thoughts. It's a shame that it was foggy these past few days so I couldn't see the magnificent snow-capped mountains, but I look forward to seeing them next time."

"The most delightful surprise of my trip to Yubeng was Shiluoke, which exceeded my expectations in every way! The service was attentive and meticulous, and the staff were gentle and considerate. The breakfast was incredibly generous, even including chicken mushrooms, paired with a delicate afternoon tea, creating a wonderful atmosphere with snow-capped mountains in view. The room amenities were high-end and complete, and the Tibetan-style luxury decor was incredibly stylish. "Since we came from Yubeng Village and didn't rent a car, the hotel's location was indeed much more suitable for self-driving. Fortunately, the hotel accommodated these inconveniences. The hotel was renovated from an abandoned elementary school, but the overall feel is like a designer's new creation. The amenities were excellent. In addition to the essentials, there was a tea table by the large window facing the mountains. The bed was large, and our room wasn't arranged side by side, but rather one side by one, which was quite unique and even involved a fight over it. The laundry service was thoughtful, and they even delivered goodnight milk in the evening. I also commend the breakfast, which offered both Chinese and Western options. It was one of the most comfortable and freshest breakfasts I've had in Yunnan these past few days, and the Western dishes were very satisfying. The hotel is located in a village group of only eight households, a quiet place with both activity and tranquility. The villagers are simple and shy, and after a walk, I joined them in circumambulating the Buddhist scriptures. Nearby are the Baima Snow Mountain, perfect for hiking, the Niding Line, perfect for children, and numerous wineries. The town itself is famous for the story of a French grandmother. Driving on your own is definitely more enjoyable, but mountain roads require some driving skills. Time is limited, so I'll definitely make up for this regret next time I drive on my own."
