"This was my first time staying at this hotel, and I was lucky to choose a lake view room. It had a balcony with a stunning panoramic view. The weather in Mount Qingcheng wasn't too hot these past two days, and it even rained the night we stayed. The next day, after the rain cleared up, my family and I enjoyed a pleasant stroll by the lake after breakfast. It was so relaxing! My kids were also thrilled to see the black swans and fish in the lake. I added Manager Xiaoxiao's WeChat, and the service was excellent. I'll definitely be back! 😃"

"We drove from Chengdu to the hotel... The journey was smooth, and the hotel was easy to find (just follow the navigation). I booked two king-size rooms with breakfast on Trip.com for around 560 RMB (checking in on Friday, checking out on Saturday). At check-in, the staff upgraded our room to an executive room! ♥️♥️♥️♥️ The hotel is huge and beautifully decorated inside. There's a bookstore, tea house, KTV, and gym (I saw it advertised but didn't go). There are also plenty of dining options: a buffet and Chinese restaurants (Deyuan and another one). You really don't need to leave the hotel to have a good time. 😉 Of course, our main reason for choosing this hotel was the outdoor hot springs. (It's a bit crazy to go to hot springs in this weather, to be honest 😅). Their hot springs don't open in the morning 😔, only from 2 PM (I thought it would be like Huashuiwan, where you can soak in the morning) until 10 PM. There are many outdoor pools to choose from, such as tangerine peel, rose, ginger, and mineral water pools... quite a lot (the names might not be 100% accurate, but they're close enough). The water temperatures also vary, from 35-40℃. I really think soaking in the hot springs here would be incredibly comfortable in spring or autumn. 👍 Soaking in the summer is definitely quite an experience! 😅 Another great thing about the hotel's hot springs is that you can change in your room or near the pools. It's very convenient to shower, wash your hair, and blow dry after soaking. The hotel even thoughtfully provides spin-dryers (so your swimwear isn't dripping wet) and plenty of disposable bags for wet clothes. Overall, these small details were very well considered (there's even warm water or lemon water available near the hot spring pools). The hotel's breakfast is from 7 AM to 10 AM, and the variety is incredibly rich! Super delicious! 🤩👍 All of the above was positive... now for some suggestions! 😂 1. The hotel doesn't have an indoor heated swimming pool, or even a deeper outdoor pool for swimming. Most of the pools are more like splash pads for children. 2. The 'robot delivery for in-room amenities' service is basically just for show. It's a nice idea, providing convenience for guests to scan a QR code and order daily necessities like water (4 complimentary bottles daily), slippers (2 complimentary pairs), etc. It seemed like a fantastic service, something I hadn't seen in a hotel before. But after you scan and place an order, it just says 'preparing' and stays that way until you check out. When you try to cancel, worrying the robot made a wasted trip, and call the customer service number provided, no one answers. 📞 I think the hotel's intention and creativity are good, but they should follow through. Or, as the front desk suggested, perhaps sometimes too many items are ordered for the robot to deliver. If that's the case, they could put a notice on their mini-program interface, so guests would be aware when placing additional orders. 😂 From initial excitement... to 24 hours later with no news. 😂"

Escaping the bustling city of Chengdu with my bestie for a weekend, we came to Qingcheng Mountain to breathe in the fresh air and unwind – it was incredibly therapeutic! We stumbled upon the hidden gem, Hegushanju, which offers an all-inclusive experience for dining, accommodation, and activities, meaning absolutely no planning was needed.✨ The B&B is nestled in a tranquil mountain forest and bamboo sea, fully immersing you in a Zen atmosphere! Besides the private hot tub on each room's super private balcony ♨️, there's also a stunning outdoor mountain pool. The water is crystal clear, surrounded by lush greenery, making it perfect for photoshoots. Playing in the water and strolling with my bestie was incredibly enjoyable! The evening healing experience was a huge plus! Every night at 8 PM, there's a singing bowl and candlelit meditation, offering an immersive way to de-stress and calm the mind. It truly healed all my work-related anxieties; the experience was fantastic. The second day's itinerary was relaxed yet fulfilling! From 8:30 to 10:00 AM, there's an incredibly rich buffet breakfast with everything from *chaoshou* (wontons), noodles, to whole grain porridges. We ate until we were full and energized. During the day, you can join a group hike in the mountain forest to embrace nature, or quietly copy scriptures and paint mandalas at the Suwen Academy, slowly savoring the holiday time. "This was our first hotel in Chengdu after a road trip in Western Sichuan. It has convenient parking, and the hot springs were perfect for relaxing after a long drive. The breakfast was also pretty good with a wide variety of options. As a member, I was able to get a late check-out. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within a kilometer or two, which is very convenient for dining and shopping."

"After looking at many reviews for Steigenberger and Huajian Pavilion on Ctrip, I chose Huajian Pavilion because it was generally agreed that its facilities were newer and it was closer to Snow World. After checking in, I felt it was a good choice; the hotel environment was quiet and conducive to sleep. Perhaps due to the high number of guests, the cleanliness of the restaurant and pool could be improved. After the evening buffet was booked out by a group, there were no other Chinese restaurants available. The strangest thing was that the hotel had a huge changing room and shower area for the pool, but there wasn't a single hook in the entire shower room. I wonder how others managed to hang their wet swimsuits and clean clothes. I, for one, had to rack my brains and tie my clothes to my pajama strings just to get dressed. Sunac definitely has its unique features, but the service quality really needs improvement."

"This hotel is a gem – a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. The bedding was spotless, comfortable, and just the right firmness. I also appreciated the nice toiletries. All the staff were wonderful and proactively helpful. I really miss sitting on the balcony in the evening, watching the rain and listening to the cicadas – it was such a relaxing and peaceful feeling. The mountains are truly amazing, I wish I could live there forever."

"Highly recommend Tianzhiyuan Hotel! It's in a fantastic location, super close to both Dujiangyan and Panda Valley. The front desk staff, Xiao Xu, even upgraded us to a king room and gave us complimentary fruit. The room was quite spacious and the housekeeping was excellent. Being right by the river, the environment was really pleasant. Breakfast was also quite abundant, with a good variety of Chinese and Western dishes. When we checked out, Xiao Wu and Xiao Sun at the front desk provided wonderful service. Overall, it was a great stay and I'd highly recommend it to everyone!"

"Our stay at this hotel far exceeded our expectations! It's perfectly situated at the foot of Mount Qingcheng's front range, making it incredibly convenient for visiting the scenic area. The new Chinese-style courtyard is elegant and tranquil, surrounded by lush greenery, creating a peaceful and restorative environment. The rooms are new, spotless, and well-equipped, with incredibly comfortable bedding. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety, including both local Sichuan snacks and Western options. The staff are warm, attentive, and very responsive. The rooftop hot spring has an amazing ambiance, and guests can also enjoy the hotel's craft workshops during their free time. It’s the perfect escape from the city bustle for a short getaway from Chengdu, ideal for both couples and families. We'll definitely choose this place again on our next trip to Mount Qingcheng!"

"Honestly, I never write reviews, but this time I stayed in such a high-end guesthouse, so I just had to! First, it was my wife and my first time visiting Mount Qingcheng. When I first saw the price, I was a bit hesitant. But to make my wife happy, I went for it. We arrived quite late, so after a quick check-in, I took a bath and went straight to bed. The next morning, oh my goodness, I was truly amazed. The mountains, mist, birdsong, fragrant flowers, and running water all combined to create an absolutely stunning experience. It felt like stumbling into a fairyland! For breakfast, honestly, the variety isn't huge, but it's incredibly delicious! Especially since the guesthouse has its own bread oven, so the bread is freshly baked – you know what I mean. I had no desire to go out and explore. Since we checked in late, I discussed with the housekeeper to extend our check-out to 2 PM, and by chance, we ended up having afternoon tea! What a pleasant surprise. All in all, it far exceeded my expectations! Maybe it's what living the life of the rich feels like! Highly recommend!"
