"The moment I walked into the hotel, I was greeted by a delightful and refreshing fragrance, and a warm smile from the doorman 😊. The room was clean and tidy, the service was excellent, and the location was very convenient, right near a subway station. I've already recommended it to my family. There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby, and it's easy to get to tourist attractions. These were the most comfortable three days of our Guizhou trip!"

"This was our second stay at this hotel. Last time, it was the Alber under the French Paris Hotel Group, but it has since been rebranded as the Chinese-owned “Zhenper” and is now one of the seven members of The Leading Hotels of the World in China. Our recent stay provided us with a wonderful experience. First and foremost, its location is excellent. Situated in Guiyang's Guanshanhu District, it's very close to Guiyang North Station and the airport, making it easily accessible. A taxi ride to the Guizhou Provincial Museum is just the starting fare. Downstairs from the hotel is the Ayunduo Warehouse Art District, where popular Instagrammable spots like Du's and Captain George's Cafe are located. There's also the ”Gaoshan Class 3”网红 (internet-famous) tea shop, local Guizhou cuisine, Yunnan cuisine, pizzerias, bakeries, and a unique handmade cultural and creative market. Essentially, what others travel far to experience and check-in for, Zhenper guests can enjoy daily, strolling around countless times, relaxing, eating, and drinking in their own community. If a restaurant is hard to get a table at, you can pick up a dinner number at noon, then comfortably relax in your room or hit the gym in the evening. When the restaurant calls, you just head downstairs – pure bliss! The hotel's design is exceptionally artistic. In the lobby on the first floor, one wall is adorned with Impressionist paintings, while the transparent glass window on the opposite wall reflects the green trees outside – simply beautiful. There's an art exhibition space outside the lobby on the twentieth floor, and during our stay, local Guizhou batik handicrafts were on display. The room amenities were incredibly comfortable. This time, we stayed in the Zhenper Suite, nearly 80 square meters, featuring a spacious living room, bedroom, and walk-in closet. The bathroom, with its black and white patterned tiles, felt both modern and vintage. All the details were wonderfully designed: despite its large size, the room didn't feel empty. My favorite was the sofa lounger in front of the living room's floor-to-ceiling window. The coffee table was daily filled with an array of nuts, fruits, desserts, red wine, and other suite amenities. The bathroom toiletries were the same as those found in Four Seasons hotels, and mouthwash was thoughtfully provided. The velvet slippers were exceptionally comfortable. The night light design deserves special mention. When you turn on the night light switch in the middle of the night, the floor light in the toilet room connected to the bedroom illuminates, meeting your needs for nighttime lighting without disturbing the other person's sleep. This detail, for someone as sensitive to light at night as I am, was the most satisfying. The gym is also not to be missed. While it doesn't have a vast array of equipment, it meets basic needs. Especially in Guiyang, where you're constantly indulging in various delicious foods, a 24-hour fitness center provides a great sense of security. The hotel's restaurant cuisine is also worth trying. Suite privileges include a daily French double dinner; the veal and mushroom chicken soup were particularly delicious, and the desserts were artistic and exquisite. The hotel's Jinsha Bakery on the first floor is fantastic. Any healthy bread you enjoy at breakfast can be purchased at the bakery. I even bought some to give to friends, and the bakery manager arranged for SF Express delivery. However, I believe the patient, meticulous, and thoughtful private butler service is the true soul of this hotel. Butlers Sue and Tina began communicating with me several days before check-in, inquiring about my preferences and requirements. During our stay, I felt there was no need to use the room phone, as Tina was always responsive on WeChat. Especially after breakfast on the second day, hotel manager Gina was already waiting for me at the restaurant entrance. She accompanied us back to our room, listened to my needs and suggestions on-site, and when we returned to the room after going out, I found she had already made adjustments according to my preferences. It truly felt like coming home, which was incredibly touching. I believe no hotel in the world can satisfy all guests' needs, and this isn't necessarily a drawback. On the contrary, when a hotel has the ability to efficiently solve problems and improve things to the greatest extent possible within its scope, it's an absolute plus. Zhenper is a hotel with that added strength. The next time I visit Guiyang, I will undoubtedly choose it again."

"It's absolutely fantastic to stay at Sofitel hotel Guiyang.It is near to Guiyang Jiaxiu pavillion and walking distance to the metro. Hotel checking in is fast and clear, they got us dinner sorted and reception booked transport for us for the next day no problem. Checking out is fast and easy, Lisa and Jason were especially nice and friendly and they got us some Guiyang special souvenirs. The room is cozy, bed is comfortable, the room is sound proof, and we loved the great view, amazing horizon across the city of Guiyang. The amenety of the hotel are okay, lovely restaurant, swimming pool, lifts are a little confusing as reception is on 55 and the rooms need a different lift to access, but there is always someone around to help if you are lost. Coffee machine and cups were at a low level in a room without carpets, so be aware of it ,they're easy to knock over and shatter. Dinner and breakfast are delicious, wide range of food suitable for any type of diet. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone who loves to travel and explore Guiyang."

"This hotel is really great and new. Its main advantage is its proximity to Qingyun Market, which is within walking distance. We booked the Kempinski for our outbound trip and this hotel for our return. I really love the decor style here. The hotel restaurant even has small animals you can feed, making it a very family-friendly hotel! The second floor offers direct access to the snack street and a shopping mall, making dining very convenient!"

"Pros: The room was spacious and well-decorated with excellent soundproofing. I really appreciated the walk-in closet and vanity area. It came equipped with a capsule coffee machine, a Laifen hairdryer, and Atelier Cologne toiletries. The amenities were very comprehensive, even including a small bottle of mouthwash. The minibar had both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, which was a nice touch, though it was all sparkling beverages, which could be improved. Overall cleanliness was good; no noticeable hairs on surfaces. The bathrobes and slippers were of excellent quality, soft and comfortable. All the staff I encountered were very enthusiastic. The gym had limited equipment, with dumbbells only going up to 20kg, but it was well-maintained. Mineral water wasn't readily available, but it was quickly provided upon request, which was good. The breakfast was plentiful and featured freshly made pancakes and local glutinous rice, which was a nice local touch. Cons: There was no concierge available when I arrived, so I had to handle my luggage myself. During peak evening hours, the shower water temperature wasn't hot enough, which is an issue that shouldn't occur in a hotel of this caliber. Room details were poorly maintained: the bathtub drain knob was old and hard to turn, and the smart toilet seat was completely unresponsive – it registered when someone sat down, but there was no heating or flushing, and aside from a light, all other functions were dead. When I booked, the page also mentioned executive lounge access, but the lounge has been closed for a long time. When I asked the front desk, they just said the minibar and the lobby lounge coffee were the 'perks,' but these were already included in my package. So there was no actual benefit, and they offered no apology or compensation. It seems they only react passively, let alone proactively offer solutions, especially since a lounge is a key factor for many when choosing a hotel. It's clear that the hotel's operation doesn't match its rating. Overall, considering the price and the room, it offered good value for money, but the maintenance of details was lacking, and the operation was extremely poor. It has very clear pros and cons."

"There were no twin rooms available when I booked, so I reserved a panoramic king room. At check-in, I asked if it was possible to switch to a twin room, and Manager Wang at the front desk upgraded us directly! The upgraded twin room overlooked Jiaxiu Tower, offering a fantastic view. Sitting by the window, sipping tea and enjoying the night scenery, the experience was absolutely perfect. P.S. The red velvet cake in the lobby was also quite good."

"Before check-in, the concierge, Lucas, added me on WeChat, which made communication very easy. Throughout our stay, Lucas was incredibly enthusiastic and helped us with many questions and requests. Thumbs up for the service! The hotel is about five or six years old, but the facilities are very well-maintained and it's quiet. It's conveniently located, about a 10-minute drive from museums, Guanshan Lake, and the dining street near the Convention and Exhibition Center. The hotel's own restaurants are also excellent, featuring authentic Guizhou flavors, and the food is delicious. It's one of the best hotel restaurants I've experienced. I highly, highly recommend staying here! It's so much better than a certain older hotel near Guanshan Lake. When we asked to have our two rooms together, Hilton was largely able to accommodate us. That other hotel, however, communicated with arrogance from the start and even told us to try asking other hotels. The difference in attitude was night and day."

"Qianshan Jingjing Hotel, hidden in the downtown Guiyang treasure hotel, really as its name, hidden in the city, self-belonging to a quiet world. The location of the hotel is very good, quiet in the middle of noisy, there is no hustle and bustle of the downtown, but it is very quiet from the downtown, and the shopping plaza is out. As soon as you walk into the hotel area, you can feel the design intentions. It can be called the ”White House” in Guiyang. The layout is very stylish. The interior of the hotel is directly full of palace-style atmosphere, and it is very popular with any shot. The details of the room moved me very much. The space is spacious and bright, and the layout is transparent. The sound insulation is very good, and I sleep until dawn. The most pleasant surprise is the view outside the window. The large terrace of the room flies a few birds from time to time. It is lively and cute. I wake up in the morning and feel better. The various facilities and supplies in the room are exquisite and elegant, and you can feel that the hotel is serious about quality. From the front desk to the room butler service, every staff member is very enthusiastic but not too disturbed. The sense of proportion is very good, which can be called responsive and tireless. There are welcome fruits and desserts at check-in, which is really hard. The breakfast is not particularly varied, but each is very delicate, making people full of energy to start the day. The hotel can be described as a combination of value and strength. Whether it is a business trip or a holiday, it can give you a feeling of being taken care of. Recommend to all friends who want to come to Guiyang and want to live comfortably and stylishly."

"I stayed at this property 9 years ago when my kids were still toddlers and one of them is a teenager now. The service of the hotel remains as tentative and warm as 9 years ago. We upgraded to one of their suite rooms and I think we will book a suite on our next trip. My kids enjoyed the pool and playing chess downstairs from the lobby. This was one of the highlights of their trip. My wife had a nice glass of wine at the regency club we missed the happy hour drinks and food as we went to HuangGuo Shu for a day trip and the second day we had dinner plans with our family. Harris checked us in and showed us our room knowing we were allergic to smoke. He was very attentive and checked on us each day to make sure we were comfortable. Will come back again soon hopefully."

"Overall, my recent stay was just average. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of dishes, and the taste was decent. However, during breakfast, I was seated by the window, and right next to my table, on a cabinet, were cleaning supplies, including disinfectants, along with discarded food scraps, used tissues, and other rubbish. Having trash right next to where I was eating created a very unappealing sight and made for an uncomfortable dining experience. Cleaning supplies and garbage should not be exposed in guest dining areas. I hope the hotel can improve its venue management by storing cleaning tools and waste in the back and not immediately next to guest tables, to enhance the overall dining experience."
