"The room was a bit small, and there was a strange smell coming from one side of the bed, though I couldn't pinpoint the source. The shower knob was incredibly stiff; I had to use all my strength just to turn it on. The worst part was check-in. After a 10-hour flight, I arrived at the hotel around 1 PM, only to be told the room wasn't ready and I'd have to wait 45 minutes. So I waited. An hour later, I checked again, and it still wasn't ready. Another 30 minutes went by, and when I inquired again, I was told it still wasn't ready. Meanwhile, other guests were checking in at the front desk, and none of them seemed to be waiting. It wasn't until past 3 PM, on my fourth attempt, that the front desk initially told me to wait again. I then mentioned that the lobby air conditioning was too cold and I wasn't feeling well. Only then did the front desk say 'Okay...' and promptly made our room cards. It really felt like they had rooms available but just weren't giving them out...
The bed and pillows were good; I slept very well for both nights.
However, there was always a loud noise in the middle of the night... It sounded like huge pipes or some machinery running.
The room came with a universal adapter, which was a thoughtful touch."
