"Room was clean but a little small for 2 adults and 2 kids, sliver of walking space after the sofa bed was set up. Location was alright. Right next to the Museum. About 25 minutes walk to Marienplatz.
Customer service was average. The sofa bed was not set up upon arrival, a housekeeping supervisor I met outside my room helped me with that. There was no special arrangements even though I mentioned in my booking that it was my son's birthday.
Pool is cold, sauna is nice."

"A decent hotel. The room size was adequate, and it had all the basic amenities. Good soundproofing and a great location, just a 5-minute walk from the central train station. The hotel has a small courtyard, so it's not directly on the street, which makes it a bit quieter. The area around the hotel is a bit chaotic, probably because it's so close to the train station."

"Building is located around 400m from Siemenswerke station but the walk is not sheltered so need to take note of rain/snow. Room is spacious and comes with washing machine and cooking wares. Toilet does not have sufficient wet and dry separation so unable to on the showerhead fully without water flowing out to the dry area. I went during the holiday season so the service staff was unable to respond to my query on one of the days of the holiday period. Room price is considered reasonable to me given that I booked during the holiday season and it comes with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay."

"The rooms are big and stunned, 3 times more than the average room. There is a sofa and there is a min kitchen. The restaurant is good around. Basically impeccable. Is the location is relatively biased, from the Reim and U2 subway station, walking 20 minutes, or transfer to the bus. There is also a supermarket within a 10-minute walk."

check in is taking time, check out even more, and money is the only thing important. i decided to go for the breakfast in the morning, but it was not in my room rate. i had given a deposit but while i was eating they came and asked me to pay and stop my breakfast(1st time i see this in a hotel!). then after my breakfast during the check out they asked me if i paid! afraid i would run away without paying?. additionally the way they speak to me / customer around me was very agressive. i will not go back"

"A nice hotel, but the two bedroom is not really a two bedroom. It's more like a one bedroom plus the living area converted into the second sleeping area.
I find the ”two bedroom” room type too squeezy for 4 pax. We cannot even eat together on the same table, no table space and not enough chairs.
Also, although there is a lift, our floor is not at the lift landing, it's in-between the lift landing, so for those carrying big luggage, it was tedious, not recommended.
Otherwise, the room facilities are good, the location is great.
They also allow us to leave our luggage there while waiting for check-in, so that is nice too."

GGuest UserA friendly, unfussy welcome. We asked for two separate duvets for one room. It worked on the third attempt ;). As we'd read in guest reviews, it was confirmed that the attentiveness of the service staff, including management, at breakfast could be improved, even during off-peak times. We were quickly assigned a table, but we weren't able to order drinks. Eye contact with the staff wasn't possible. We were finally able to place our orders at the buffet. No problem, we'll definitely be happy to come back when we're in Munich.

WWei Ming PekFirst, I would not recommend this hotel to travelers with young children or elderly family members. The surrounding area is highly mixed and felt unsafe during our stay. Within just three nights in Munich, we personally witnessed incidents including fighting and shop theft. This created a strong sense of insecurity for us as a family traveling with young children.
Second, the bathroom design is extremely inconsiderate and poses safety risks. The raised bathroom floor becomes very slippery after the first person showers, yet no grab bars or safety features are provided. This is unacceptable for a hotel of such a well-known brand, and it is shocking that guest safety was clearly not considered during the design stage.
Third, the housekeeping service was disappointing. Despite being out since morning, our room was not cleaned when we returned in the evening. When we requested assistance just to empty the rubbish bin, the cleaner refused, claiming our room was not within their assigned work area—even though it was on the same floor. Cleaning was only carried out after we called the housekeeping hotline, which left us very disappointed with the service standard.
Overall, the experience fell far below expectations for a branded hotel, particularly in terms of safety, design consideration, and service quality.

The staff is quite nice & helpful. The spa and gym is quite nice, and breakfast is good too.
However, my mom found a little dirty stuff in the shower when she first got into her room. That's a minus.
Overall, the hotel is quite good.

The highlight of our stay was definitely the breakfast – it was hands down the best I’ve had in Munich, far exceeding what I’ve experienced at other hotels in the city. The quality, variety, and freshness of the food were truly impressive.
We booked a family room, and it was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate all four of us (4 adults). The room was clean, well-equipped, and provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
Overall, the Marriott Munich exceeded our expectations, and I highly recommend it to families or anyone looking for a comfortable stay with outstanding service and amenities.

MMitangI had walked past this hotel before and thought it looked quite nice. So, when I went to Munich for an interview, I decided to book it. RRalfService at Bayerischer Hof starts outside, when arriving by car: They take care of your luggage and take the keys to park your car. Reception is very friendly, helpful and effectively under the Corona-Regulations, to provide a good room for you.
Breakfast is still good, but before Corona-Times it was definitely better. I only managed a Dinner at Trader Vic's, which is quite nice for tourists, but not the original food I know from Asia myself.
The four days at the Bayerischer Hof were the most comfortable time I had this year.
And now I plan to be back there in December - same hotel.

游游牧族Room is clean and modern designed. There is sauna and swimming pool. Though size of swimming pool is small, only one people can swim, the area is very relaxing. Hotel is not close to the subway station (15min walk, but very close to a tram stop (50meters or so). There are free candies in the lobby. Overall the experience is good.
