Munich Hotels with Gym

"The hotel's overall hardware facilities are quite good. It's an apartment-style hotel, perfect for cooking your own meals, and each floor has different themed activity areas. I happened to check in during Oktoberfest, and they offered a complimentary beer, which I didn't drink because I was in a hurry to meet friends for dinner. BUT! And remember this BUT! 1. I think it's a ridiculous clause that they charge you a week in advance and then you can't cancel. Why can't I cancel a week beforehand? It's just incomprehensible. 2. Room 430 needs some serious repairs. First, the exhaust fan above the kitchen kept making a constant noise. Then, the door itself started making a wind-like sound. I went to the front desk every day to report it. On the first night, they told me to take out the key card and it would stop. And yes, it stopped, but am I supposed to not turn on the lights? Not charge my devices? On the second day, a technician came and fixed the kitchen exhaust fan; it stopped making noise when the kitchen light was off. However, the room door continued to make that wind-like noise intermittently. And the kitchen fridge sounded like a tractor – so noisy! I'm someone who absolutely hates noise, and hotels in Europe are generally quite quiet. This is truly the first time I've encountered a hotel room where everything makes a noise. Of course, I want to commend Trip.com here. After I complained, they negotiated with the hotel, and the hotel offered a complimentary day's breakfast (the breakfast was just okay, but a plus was the Munich white sausage). Trip.com also handled my request very professionally. However, this hotel is truly a mixed bag. I stayed for 7 days, and on the second to last day, the fire alarm went off. It was already very cold in Munich at that time, and we had to wait outside for about half an hour before we could go back in. They really need to check their equipment! On the plus side, there's a REWE supermarket and a ROSSMANN downstairs, and the S5 and U5 lines are right next door, which is quite convenient."

"The hotel is brand new and fantastic. There's a bus stop right outside, and taxis are easily available; it's about 15 euros to Marienplatz, so getting around is very convenient. The minibar is refilled daily, and the breakfast is rich and varied. They have an underground parking garage, and you need a key card to use the elevator, which feels very secure. The rooms aren't huge, but the bathroom is very functional, and the bed, by European standards, is quite large and comfortable. There's a Vietnamese pho place and a sushi restaurant nearby, which I definitely recommend!"

"At this budget hotel, someone knocked on our door at 10 AM. When we didn't respond for a few seconds, they just swiped their master key and entered, saying they needed to clean the room and then asking if I was checking out. This was absolutely unbelievable! The hotel also has a car park, but it costs 10 Euros. So, I decided to park right outside on the street. I left at 11 AM the next day and thankfully didn't get a fine. They said parking was free on the hotel's side where there were white lines, but I parked on the unmarked side of the street opposite the hotel. Breakfast costs extra. On the ground floor, there's also a restroom and a self-service convenience store."

"I stayed at the Holiday Inn Munich City Centre for a business trip and overall had a good experience. The hotel is in a very convenient location, directly connected to the S-Bahn station, making it easy to reach both the airport and the city center. The rooms are clean, functional, and well equipped — ideal for business travelers. The Wi-Fi works well, and the breakfast is rich and varied, with friendly and attentive staff. The common areas are spacious and modern, and there are several well-organized meeting rooms available. On the downside, the atmosphere is quite “business-like,” so don’t expect a particularly cozy or boutique feel. Also, since it’s a large hotel, it can get a bit busy and noisy in the public areas. Overall, it’s a good business hotel with reliable service and a solid value for money. I would recommend it for business trips or for anyone looking for a practical, well-located base to explore Munich."

"The location is away from the main city, however there's an U-Bahn station nearby that connects to the city center and the main train station directly, so it's not too bad. Rooms are decent and clean with all the basic amenities. The breakfast spread is quite good and there's also options for buying snacks near the reception."

"The reception was helpful. The first room they gave me, the TV was not working and they changed me to another room. Overall it was a comfortable room. Bed and pillow were clean. Location was pretty convenient from Theresa Giehse-Alle station. A mall was location in walking distance and easy access to convenience stores to grab for quick meal."

"Location is near to train station, accessible to airport via the S1 or S8. There’s a tram stop right outside the hotel, and a supermarket across the street.  Staff service from an Asian lady at reception was transactional during our first check in. When we returned 2 days later, the african staff was warm and hospitable. Both days we got early check in.  Breakfast spread was decent, but better than other hotels we stayed in Germany.  Room size was good, just that the water pressure was a little low."

"The location is close to a subway station, but traveling with large luggage can be bulky. We stayed in Munich for a few days, and the breakfast was amazing.It cost 21 euro per pax. The most memorable part was the view—Munich was snowing, and I found a few beautiful spots in the hotel garden. The only downside was that the toilet was not clean enough. Other than that, everything was perfect, though the hotel is slightly far from the city center."

"The rooms were clean and spacious, and the front desk staff provided good service. However, when we needed more in-room amenities, we couldn't find anyone to assist. We later discovered that any additional amenities could be directly requested from the front desk. While it's about 900 meters from the central station, there's a bus stop right by the main entrance, and an S-Bahn station is only a five-minute walk away, so transportation is actually quite convenient."
