Zermatt Hotels with Gym

This hotel offers a decent location, although it requires a bit of a walk from Zermatt train station. However, the reward is a beautiful Matterhorn view from the hotel room, which is a delightful feature. The breakfast was typical of Swiss hotels, but the real highlight was the impressive range of facilities, including an open-air jacuzzi, gym, sauna room, and indoor swimming pool, providing guests with various options for relaxation and recreation. As for the room itself, it met our expectations. Overall, a pleasant stay with some great amenities.

I was charged for an additional 288 Swiss FR for “additional guest”. when I checked out. only because I did not put My Son’s name when I did the booking, but I booked a twin room and my son naturally stay with me. not to mention he’s my 13 year old son. they can charge me for additional breakfast. That’s totally OK. but additional person for twin room?really? And Main thing I was not told I will be charged when I checked in. That is not fair I will reflect this to Swiss tourism office. Btw. The staff are 100% good. Very friendly but I am sickened by the strange policy.

That is the fantastic hotel in Zermatt; the service and facility are excellent, and the room has a good view of the mountain and Matterhorn. The price of the room is already included the swimming pool and gym and Sauna, that is the excellent price that gives you the service. I will book this hotel again.

It is the best hotel in Switzerland in 8 days. The worst hotel I used to stay in before was 4 stars of 2800 yuan, basically all 5 stars. The facilities are new and the new hotel is more in my style. The rooms are not large or small, just right, the toilets are a bit small, and the toiletries are a well-known British brand. Because the owner of the hotel loves whiskeys, there is a cabinet for whiskeys in the lobby. Whiskey in the room can be drunk for free, which is a waste for me who does not drink. The breakfast is not many, but it is very exquisite and you can eat it well. Self-driving is not allowed here, there are shuttle buses to the train station, you need to call in advance to book. Several attractions are close. The hotel swimming pool is also good, although not large, you can swim and watch the mountain view. I will definitely choose here next time. Price is also good.

The room is very big, on the top floor, and has no balcony. (There are balconies on the lower floors, but the hotel says they are higher-class rooms.) We asked to change to a room with a balcony, and we were shown a balcony room in the annex building, which was obviously much smaller and had a bad view, so we stayed in the original large room on the top floor of the main building. After living there, we found that it didn't matter whether there was a balcony or not. A large room was better, and the luggage could be spread everywhere, and you could see the panoramic view of the Matterhorn with a very good view by opening the window. The front desk was very patient with me, and the other front desk staff were also very friendly. The concierge was very professional and provided suggestions for various routes every day. We improved the daily route according to her suggestions, which was very accurate. The best thing was the open-air bathing pool, with a water temperature of 36 degrees, and the Matterhorn was right above our heads. In addition, the hotel has a free shuttle bus parked outside the station, which can be picked up at any time when you arrive, which is very convenient.

However, it was painful because the previous guest had a banana in the refrigerator, and it smelled like bananas, and I was not good at bananas. The hot water was good, and above all, there was a bathtub, so I was soaked in a long time and got tired. The aunt at the reception was kind and kind. And I would like to recommend breakfast 🥞 It was a pity that there was no vegetable, but the Indian woman with the cute dining room and the staff was very impressive. The raw ham, cheese and butter in Switzerland were also very delicious!

We love the hotel and wished we could have stayed longer. The view from the balcony of our room gave us a clear view of the Matterhorn. The hotel is easily accessible from the Zermatt train station and the Town centre . We loved the room allocated and found it extremely comfortable. We also enjoyed the sumptuous breakfast buffet which was pretty extensive. Staff was really pleasant and helpful at all time. Our receptionist even escorted us to the room by stairs because their lift was not functional when we checked in. The only regret was that we were unable to utilise the sauna and swimming pool facilities due to time constraints. Will highly recommend the hotel to those who are looking for value for money stays whilst in Zermatt.

Close to the train station. Although I got an upgrade to a double room, it was small (the table in front of the bed takes a lot of space). The bathroom was big and clean but outdated. The balcony was nice but not really needed in winter. Everyone can enter the ski room and the individual locker cannot be locked. Perfect for thieves.

There are few types of breakfast, especially after staying at sunstar, the difference in breakfast is a bit obvious. In addition, the main door is a bit difficult to find, you have to go up a few stairs and walk through a corridor to get there. I was so tired when I arrived in Zermatt that day, and it was painful to carry the luggage up the stairs. In short, the recommendation index is three and a half stars.
