This was our last leg of our China trip. The 4 days 3 nights stay at Manyuan was wonderful. The team of staff we met was thoughtful and helpful, and the lead staff 彭谊stood out as a true attentive person. She guided us to book DiDi online Taxi and recommended places for dinner. In addition to enthusiastically recommending us places to go and buying tickets for us for the WuLingYuan National park and ZhangJiaJie Great Canyon with discount, we could feel that they were very concerned about our daily life. My wife said that every day when we returned to the hotel, she felt like she was back home when she heard the friendly ”You're back”. Our female butler 缘缘 helps monitor my online 淘宝purchase that delivered to the hotel. Another two staff worth mentioned was 晓晓 who guide us on the route in the national park of places of interest and skip others if time constraints. And 陈双凤who help us to setup the herbal foot bath. We have chosen Manyuan for its non smoking, clean, spacious rooms that overseeing the stream and sitting there with a glass of wine. It is also easy access to WuLingYuan National Park East gate. There are plenty of Chinese selection for the breakfast. My wife and I especially enjoyed and appreciated the coffee machine, which hardly available in other hotels. We are deeply grateful that we were allowed for late checkout with a small fee due midnight flight. Had a pleasant time staying here. Reception was friendly and very helpful in booking tickets for attractions. It was easy to communicate through WeChat, the forest is a 10 minute walk to the entrance . Located close to the shops and the theatre show. Our last day was at Tianmen mountain which is an hour from this hotel. Reception told us we could leave our luggage with them and for 20 yuan per piece they would consign our luggage to the station for us and we could pick it up from there. It worked out extremely well for us as the station is 30 mins from the mountain. Breakfast was good and our view from the room was awesome! Would definitely recommend.

Very close to the cable cars. Good central base for seeing a lot in the wonderful city of Zhangjiajie. Staff was welcoming and kind. The room was very comfortable. Arrived late at night as flight landed late from Shanghai. Via Didi took about 15 minutes to get to hotel then another 5 minutes to our room. Breakfast was very amazing. Staff welcomed us every morning and complimented us. Our Chinese was poor but we communicated through translation apps. Thankful as English speakers to feel so welcomed and safe here. Zhangjiajie as a whole felt very welcoming. Loved our stay. Be sure to see sandstone painting exhibit when in town.

Spent 2 nights here and had a good stay, we slept really well thanks to the comfy mattress and the quiet location. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. To get hot water and heating on AC takes a bit of time. Staff doesn’t speak English but was helpful. Many food options nearby. Bus from the west railway station or from Zhangjiajie park stops nearby.

Great location, convenient for going 天门山, walkable distance from hotel to cable car port. If is going to 国家森林公园, is about 1hr car ride away. Spacious room with AI controlling lightning etc. wet and dry toilet is separated. There is also plenty of shop/ food choice around the hotel. Was given free breakfast for a day. Might be a little noisy when there is airplane fly pass (but only short period). Also due to hotel is right infront a kindergarten, it can have some noise in the morning. There is free pick up and drop off ride from train station.

Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. Pick up and drop off service to the train station was very useful. We would of had a hard time finding the inn. Parting gift was a wonderful gesture.

New hotel with good staff We chose to stay at this hotel because it is a new hotel and very near to Tianmen Mountain CableWay station, just 10 minutes by walk. The front office staff, a young guy at day shift and the others at night shift (sorry we did not know your name), these 2 staff are very helpful. The male at the dayshift gives us directions on how to get to the station and the male at night shift helps us change rooms because the first room is smoke-smelt, we can not stand with that, to the other clean room. There is a lot of local food surrounding, also minimarket and shops. The room was spacious with a nice view of cable cars up and down from/to station. Although the hotel is at the busy street, but the soundproof quality is good. We can sleep tight without any disturbing noise. The breakfast menu is also well proper with variant cuisine.

I loved my stay at the Mansion Inn Dream Mansion. My room was incredibly comfortable, with a stunning view of the cableway station, the city, and the beautiful mountains lining the skyline. The bed was exceptionally cozy, and the room was filled with adorable, thoughtful, and fun touches . From yummy snacks to high-quality skincare products, every detail was designed to make guests feel pampered and at home. The staff were so sweet and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure a wonderful stay, even allowing me to store my luggage after checkout so I could explore Tianmen Mountain. If you’re visiting Zhangjiajie, I can’t recommend the Mansion Inn Dream Mansion enough. The combination of comfort, ideal location, exceptional service, and great value makes this hotel a great pick.

We have a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient making it easy to access nearby attractions, restaurant and transportation . The hotel is located next to Changsha railway station.  All the receptionist are very friendly and attentive..  They even upgraded my room during my check-in.  Special thanks to receptionist No. 6 and 9 who have assisted me during my stay. Overall, we have a pleasant day in the hotel and will come back again..

Not the real 'Four Seasons' you might think of but otherwise, had an overall great experience there. Before the trip, WeChat-ed them and customer service was quick to respond to accomodate and provide transportation pick up service from the train station. However, despite messaging prior to inform about the changes in our number of pax/luggages so that they can arrange for a bigger car to pick up, there was a mix-up as the hotel forgot to cancel the first car allocated to us, leaving us stranded for around 30 mins (in the cold) at the parking lot while we wait for the correct car to arrive. It also wasted the first driver's time as he got there early and waited for us despite us not needing his services in the end.  The hotel itself was located in a nice location, and the room was great. It was high-tech where most of the room controls are controlled by 'Xiao Du' their Alexa/Google Home service which only responds in Mandarin so for those who are unable to speak then there's no use for it. The smart toilet is enjoyable as the seats are heated and the bidet function is much needed. One interesting thing is that one of the windows in all the rooms is always left partially open (unsure the true reason for it) but it may be bothersome to some as we went during winter so personally i didn't mind it as a natural air conditioning since most of the room is heated.  The driver service that the hotel provided can then also be directly hired by fellow travellers if you require the service to get to and fro the different attractions/parks that you would be visiting during your holiday in Zhangjiajie. Overall had a good experience here. Only wished for the hotel breakfast to offer more variety, it was decent enough.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay at this hotel. What stood out the most was the exceptional service provided by an employee at the counter named Meesa. She went above and beyond to assist us, offering great restaurant recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed, including providing water during our multi-night stay. Her dedication and genuine care for guests truly reflect the high standards of hospitality that every hotel should strive for. Meesa is an excellent example of service-minded professionalism, and her efforts made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel and applaud the team for their commitment to great service. I had a pleasant stay overall, but there was an issue on the first night that affected my experience. My sleep was disrupted due to a strong smell of smoke coming from another room, which somehow entered my room. This was disappointing as it impacted my comfort during the stay.

Great stay with excellent service I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The receptionist was incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful with everything I needed. The room was spotless, had all the essentials, including heating, and they even provided complimentary water upon arrival. The bathroom was clean, with fresh towels and shampoo provided. The location is perfect—close to everything, including the bus station. Highly recommend this hotel for its great service and convenience!

Very good service , the hotel accommodated all my requests! Breakfast was great ! The location is a little far from everything but is in a quiet place. Lots of places to eat around. I wanted to do laundry but the laundry room was quite humid and scary looking so I didn’t go! Otherwise pretty good hotel. Shampoo , conditioner and body wash are amazing.

Strategic location - only 2 mins away from the 黄兴步行街. Excellent service - I arrived earlier than the check-in time and they have managed in order for me to check in earlier. Great effort. Prompt response - They will ask you to add their WeChat. Anything you need could send a message through WeChat and a reasonably fast response. Cleanliness - Clean, they will clean your room everyday even though we were staying for 3 nights. Trash was also taken care of. Amenities were also refurbished. Wonderful Hospitality - they offered a check out souvenirs and ask if we need anything on our way to the railway station. Definitely worth your money.

Upon arrival, we are warmly welcome by the counter staff~叶子小姐 who assisted me in checking in to the room. She was so kind to give us a free up grade of having 4 beds (1 king, 1 single and 2 single beds instead of my original 3 beds ~ 1 king, 1 double and 1 single) on top of that, she added me in the WeChat to introduce places of interest to visit and to message her if we needed further assistance. The location is good as malls everywhere near hotel. There is also a karaoke at level 4. Use 大众点评网to book the room. We had a good deal of having singing session for a small room for RMB $40.🤫

Siman hotel has been a very accommodating place to stay. A very nice view and clean amenities to use. The host way especially helpful and I would love to stay here another time!

The hotel is conveniently located within 5min walk to the subway. 平安老街is right behind the hotel where you can get food round the clock. Good eateries like 費大廚，笨蘿蔔，are all within walking distance from the hotel. The room is huge with curtains. Hot water with good pressure. The room is nicely insulated from the busy roads.

The front desk staff was very enthusiastic, and the check-in process was very quick and smooth. The room was also equipped with various modern facilities, such as smart toilets, voice assistants, etc., so that I could enjoy a convenient life during my trip. The hotel's breakfast was also excellent. There were a wide variety of breakfasts, and the breakfast time was from 7:30 in the morning to 1:00 in the afternoon. The location of the hotel is also very good. There is a subway nearby, which is very convenient for travel. The hotel also provides 20 free services, such as toilet mats, face towels, razor cotton swabs, etc., as well as free afternoon tea cocktails 🍹, which greatly exceeded my expectations of the hotel.

Very near to subway and high speed train station but for a first timer, it's kind of difficult to locate the hotel as there is no direction signage to the hotel, luckily Baidu map helped a lot. Other than that, room quality is the best, almost 5 stars standard if not on par. Clean and well maintained room with Baidu assistant controller.

The Host was very friendly and courteous. The Hotel is right in the ancient town not far from the waterfall. He picked us up from the railway station and gave us a discount for the entry tickets to the town. Before leaving he also offered us tea. The accomodation was clean and had nice views.

Very nice homestay. The host was amazing and very proactive, providing us with a detailed itinerary and a map of Furong Ancient Town. We don’t speak Chinese, but that wasn’t a problem at all because we used an online translator. The place itself is very charming. You are always welcome to drink green tea, which is made by the host from his garden (and the tea is amazing). Our type of room felt a bit cluttered, so if you have a lot of luggage, that might be an issue. The bed was good, with nice linens and comfortable pillows. Breakfast was also very nice, and everything was fresh. Just keep in mind that the hotel is outside of Furong Ancient Town, but it’s situated just a couple of minutes from the main gate.

Room is nice and bed is comfortable. There is no lift in the town, so we need to carry our luggage to level 3. But if pre inform the hotel, they can help to carry the luggages up and down (return as well). Hotel staffs are friendly and willing to help us and especially to help us to call for transport to train station as there is no Didi in town or otherwise have to hail from the street and stay connected with us on WeChat. Location wise is near to the old town within 5 mins. There is a basement food Street just less than 10 steps beside the hotel. There is bubble tea shop and Luckin coffee just opposite the hotel. Photos are similar to real-life. There is also a laundry room but only available from 10am - 10pm (need to get key from hotel staff). Will recommend to stay in this hotel.

Our family was very satisfied with our first visit to Phoenix Ancient Town! We drove here by ourselves. The owner of the B&B contacted us in advance to send us the parking lot location, which was outside the scenic area (the owner's house was located at the entrance of the B&B hotel outside the scenic area). When we arrived, her sister had already driven to the door to wait for us. After helping us put our luggage, she sent us to the scenic area Hongqiao. The owner was waiting for us there. The sisters were very warm and friendly. The owner looked friendly and helped us carry our luggage. The B&B is very close to Hongqiao, and it only takes 3 minutes to walk there. The geographical location can be said to be the absolute core. It is very convenient to play. The B&B room is very clean and the river view is so beautiful! My daughter especially likes the hanging basket on the balcony. This set of photos was taken on the balcony of the room. There is a light on the balcony, and there is no need to light it. It is very good to take portraits at night. It is very photogenic. You can see cruise ships on the river at any time. It is really beautiful! ! Because we liked it so much, we were going to stay overnight to Changsha, and we applied for an extension on the same day. I really like this room! The twin room we stayed in was on the third floor, with a great view. I asked the landlady, and they have a room with a 1.8-meter bed, and that room can be opened directly from the balcony to the riverside. If you want to stay in that room, you can ask the landlady in advance if it is still available. Before I checked in, I thought I had booked that room! Later I asked and found out...

I took a long time researching and almost booked 2 other Instagram popular Minsu only to cancel and take this one instead. I am glad I did because this Minsu has the best view in whole of Furong Town! Many people make the mistake of wanting to stay right and close by the waterfall but the beauty of Furong Town is the wide landscape view of its ancient grounds and gorgeous waterfalls. As such, a view from a certain distance will be the most ideal and the most perfect. We simply love this accommodation! This Minsu is located by the entrance of the Furong Ancient Town. As you start your exploration into the town, you will be taken along multiple paths that will eventually lead you to the waterfall, as you walk through the trail and enjoy the waterfalls. Continue down and hike up into the cliff side steps until you see signages that point towards an exit. You will see some structures that is half built- walk up and then walk straight out and a left turn and you find yourself right back at the Minsu! The location is simply brillant ! We stayed in the 2 bedder suite and had such a wonderful time in the room enjoying the comfortable beds and the great view, we found ourselves lounging indoors most of the time only venturing for a bit outside when the weather was cooler. We will definitely recommend anyone to come and stay in this Minsu. Be sure to also have your dinner there , the food is good and views even better! You will not regret! The Minsu provides to and fro from the railway station , please add them in WeChat and arrange! They are very friendly !

Ideal location near key attractions makes it perfect for business or leisure.

The staff is so caring and kind, they upgraded our room to a bigger one with a balcony. Also, the location is so convenient and the view from the room is just wonderful. The rooms are super clean, neat and tidy. The hotel is situated just inside the furong ancient town, so you will be able to live inside the beautiful view and adore the beauty of this ancient village. Also, ask the staff in advance if you need a car for pick up and drop off to the railway station. They don't charge much very reasonable cost of 20 rmb.

Clean, helpful and friendly staff. Free drop off at the Furongzhen railway station. Good location, step out of the hotel straight to a row of shops/restaurants. Fantastic view from the room, however because theres a restaurant attached to the hotel can be quite noisy. Need to bring earbuds to sleep. However, for how expensive it is, found it a bit lacking in amenities, no fridge, there is a water filter system for drinking water in the room but it doesnt work. No coffee provided in room, only a paper cup with no spoon.

Location: Really nice hostel, located close to Wanming Pagoda. Around 10-15 mins walk from bus stop (A2). Room: Clean and cozy chinese style. Really ❤︎ Service: Great. I cannot find the hostel so a woman from hostel found me and took me to the hostel. She also gave me a map and recommended me the route to travel in whole Fenghuang ancient town. More info: I travelled to Fenghuang ancient town via tourist bus (A2) from Fenghuanggucheng railway station with 26' luggage. I can walk from bus stop to hostel.
