Ton Son Temple

#summerdream A temple in Ang Thong, which is assumed to have been built in the late Ayutthaya period, has a large area. Inside, there are two important Buddha statues: “Somdet Phra Sri Mueang Ngern”, an outdoor Buddha statue in the Mara-Vijaya attitude, and another one is “Somdet Phra Sri Mueang Thong”, a large Buddha statue in the chapel. The latter is covered in real gold. If you go to Ang Thong Province, don’t forget to stop by to pay homage and make merit at Wat Ton Son.
