Unseen Ang Thong, a temple covered with a Bodhi tree

✨️U N S E E N #Wat Sangkratai, Mueang District, Ang Thong Province From a temple that was #cut off the head of a Buddha and piled on the ground to this beautiful temple by a temple with 4 Bodhi trees surrounding holding the entire wall structure here there is no roof but it is surprisingly clean the original name is Wat Sam Kratai and it has been distorted 🧱 This temple is over 400 years old, abandoned for over 200 years it is estimated that it was during the Ayutthaya period when there was a war and what is sad is that the Buddha statue that was enshrined was cut off the head and piled on the ground but later repaired until now inside the church there are 3 halls in total 🌳 the first hall enshrines Luang Pho Kaen with a beautiful Naga guarding the back 🌳 the second hall has 3 main statues: Luang Pho Wan Dee, Luang Pho Sri and Luang Pho Suk ( this hall has a jar of holy water Where the water never dries up, sprinkle it here because the ceremony is held here every year 😄) 🌳Hall 3 has Grandfather Phaya Naga Sri Buddha and Grandfather Som 🌻Outside, there are Mae Soi Thip and Mae Soi Sri Suwan as well.
