The mountain view was beautiful, the room was spacious, and the price was reasonable, so I decided to stay for a long time and pay in advance. However, I faced some unexpected situations during my actual stay. First of all, the entire building has been under construction for a long time, and the rooms and hallways were filled with a strong smell of paint and chemicals (paint thinner, insecticide). This caused me to feel unwell, such as headaches, coughs, and shortness of breath, and I even had nightmares while sleeping. The smell spread not only to the room but also to the entire hallway, and there was a dust-like smell, so people with sensitive respiratory systems should be especially careful. In addition, there were times when a smell like ammonia or putrefaction drifted from the roof and the next room. The tap water was also cloudy and had a strong smell (a chlorine smell like a pool) depending on the day, and white and gray particles were attached to clothes after washing. Further improvement is required for the water quality. It is unfortunate that the smell permeated my personal belongings (cosmetics, etc.) that I had left in the room, my sandals were damaged, and the food in the refrigerator had deteriorated. In addition, the power outage at night and the multiple occurrence of the emergency bell made it difficult to stay safely. Furthermore, during the day, there was a sudden loud sound like a window breaking, and we encountered a worker working outside, but it did not seem to be an emergency. Cleaning was basically done only once at check-in, and after that, we had to clean, change the sheets, and take care of the carpet ourselves. The filters in the faucets and shower heads also frequently became clogged, and we had to clean them several times a day. However, the location was very convenient, with a market, hospital, law offices, etc. right in front of the hotel, so we had no trouble with daily life. The fresh meat restaurant right in front of the hotel was very delicious, and the view was wonderful. It was also impressive that the staff changed frequently during our stay, and overall, it was definitely an exciting experience. It seems that many people stay for long periods of time for medical tourism, etc., but I felt that there was a lot of room for improvement in terms of the indoor air environment, water quality, and cleaning system. I look forward to the facility's future management.
