Wat Inthakhil Sadue Muang or Wat Sadue Muang is an ancient temple located near the Chiang Mai City Arts and Cultural Center (Old City Hall) and the Three Kings Monument. Originally, this temple was an abandoned temple and used to be the location of the Inthakhil Pillar (City Pillar) of Chiang Mai. Therefore, the temple was named Wat Inthakhil Sadue Muang. However, at present, the original Inthakhil Pillar is no longer inside Wat Inthakhil because it has been moved to Wat Chedi Luang instead. This temple has an important Buddha image that has been a part of Chiang Mai for a long time, which is known as Luang Pho Khao, which is over 700 years old. It is a Lanna-style Buddha image with a full face. It is located in a Lanna-style chapel made entirely of wood. Behind the chapel is an old bell-shaped pagoda.
