Rocky Trails & Hidden Cloud

#summervacay Juwangsan was such a cool surprise! I went in just thinking “okay, another mountain,” but nope, this place has personality. Right from the start, you get these dramatic rock formations and cliffs that look like they belong in some ancient legend. The trail winds through narrow valleys, past waterfalls, and even a couple of caves you can actually explore. The hike itself isn’t too hard, but it’s full of variety. One minute you’re crossing a peaceful stream, the next you’re climbing stone steps into a hidden canyon. It honestly felt more like an adventure than a workout. There’s this cool cave called Juwang-gul, and stepping inside gave me total explorer vibes (bring a flashlight or use your phone, it gets real dark!). Oh, and the trees? Gorgeous. Especially in spring or autumn. There are also cute little rest stops and spots to take pics along the way. Juwangsan’s got history, nature, and just the right amount of mystery. Loved every minute!
