Vassamani

Wat Sramani is located in Ban Phak Top, Tambon Phak Top, Amphoe Nong Han, Udon Thani Province. It is a beautiful temple with a long history. According to legend, a crystal ball floated up from a pond, emitting a beautiful glow. The villagers therefore named the temple “Sramani Choti”. Later, the word “Choti” disappeared, leaving only “Sramani”. Temple Highlights: • 4 Naga Families Around the Chapel: Around the chapel, 4 Naga Families were built: • Golden Families: Phraya Wirupaksa Naga  • Black Families: Phraya Kanha Kotman Naga  • Rainbow Families: Phraya Chapphayaputta Naga  • Green Families: Phraya Erapathana Naga  • Saramani: A small pond in front of the chapel, which is the origin of the temple’s name.
