Pay homage to Luang Por Phra Buddha Niramit Rattanachana Mar

🏡 Wat Chedi Hoy: In the past, Phra Khru Sunthorn Khunthada, or Luang Por Thongklueang Suntharo, went on a pilgrimage in Myanmar and studied mystical arts until he became proficient. He then returned to Tham Ong Chuk in Kanchanaburi Province. Later, he had a vision that the area where Wat Chedi Hoy is currently located was a major city named Rattanawadee 8 million years ago. Following his vision, he traveled to the site and discovered it. 🙏 Subsequently, his father purchased the land and donated it to him. He initially established a monastic center and later founded the temple in 1988. During the construction, numerous ancient giant oyster shells, thousands of years old, were unearthed. He used these ancient shells to build a chedi at the entrance and within the temple in 1995.
