A No-Fail Travel Guide to Shanghai Wildlife Park!

Shanghai Wildlife Park is vast, divided into: Drive-through Zone, Walking Zone, and Water Exploration Zone, enough to explore for a whole day. It's recommended to head straight to the Beast Zone bus after seeing the flamingos 🦩 (otherwise, the queue will be long after the sea lion show). First-time visitors should take the free bus 🚌 (feeding bus charges separately). After the bus tour, you can watch performances at several theaters. The sea lion show is free (⚠️ Circus Theater and Hundred Beast Mountain Theater charge fees). Clockwise tour route: Main entrance ➡️ Flamingos ➡️ Take the bus to the Beast Zone (Feeding bus costs 50/ride, same route as the bus) ➡️ Various birds ➡️ Sea Lion Theater (free 🆓, 🕙 starts at 10 AM, 20-minute show) ➡️ Swan Lake (boating, 💰50/person, half an hour) ➡️ Water Exploration Zone (💰40/person, 20 minutes) ➡️ Sun Plaza (free 🕛 starts at 12 PM, 25-minute show) ➡️ Kangaroos 🦘, giraffes, penguins 🐧, pandas, zebras, etc. ➡️ Hundred Beast Mountain Theater ➡️ African elephants, monkeys, bears, etc. ➡️ White Dove Plaza ➡️ Flamingos ➡️ Exit the park. 1⃣️ Opens at 9 AM, be sure to go early! The tour bus 🚌 views are through glass, while the feeding bus offers a better experience (50/person, same route as the tour bus) with unobstructed views. It's recommended to sit on the right side for more animals along the way. 4⃣️ The nursery has adorable baby tigers, monkeys, lions, etc., with big tigers 🐯 and lions 🦁 nearby. 5⃣️ Animals are scattered, so photographers should bring a telephoto lens.
