[Tokyo/Washi Shrine] The lively Tori-no-ichi festival

I went to Tori no Ichi, the busiest festival of the year! In the morning, the queue only stopped at the temple grounds, but by evening the line of worshippers extended outside, and there were so many people that police officers had to be stationed. However, the worship itself was smooth and the wait time was just over 20 minutes. The rake stalls are probably the best in the Kanto region. It was so crowded with people that it was difficult to pass through the streets smoothly. Still, I was excited just seeing people interacting with the rake merchants and seeing all the gorgeous rakes!
