Xingguo Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall

Located at No. 5 Hongjun Road, Lianjiang Town, Xingguo County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, the Xingguo Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall is a museum commemorating revolutionary martyrs. The Xingguo Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall was first built in 1957 in Jixinling and was relocated to the Yaogangnao Baochangshan Martyrs Cemetery in 1977. The exhibition hall is divided into five parts, displaying photos, statues, relics, and stories of martyrs from Xingguo who died in various revolutionary wars, the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, the Sino-Vietnamese War, and the socialist revolution and construction. Xingguo County is a famous old revolutionary base and a county of generals. During the Soviet period, 80,000 people joined the army and fought in the war, and 54 generals of the People's Republic of China from Xingguo emerged. Xingguo is also the county with the most martyrs in the country. For every kilometer of the Long March, a martyr from Xingguo fell.
