We missed the UN Memorial Cemetery in Korea and the UN Sculpture Park (유엔조각공원), should tried to come again next time. 5. lastly we went shopping and the Seomyeon Underground Shopping How to get there : Seomyeon Station (Busan Subway Line 1, 2), Exit 12 Day 4 Ulsan here I come! took the subway from Nopo Station, then take Bus to Ulsan Intercity Bus Terminal, from Ulsan Intercity Bus Terminal or Express Bus Terminal, walk to the Express Bus Terminal Bus Stop. Take Bus No. 124 to Daewangam Park. 1. Daewangam Park 대왕암공원 2. Then walk to Ulgi Lighthouse 울기등대, Yong-Gul 용굴,UIlsan Beach (these are all walking distance ... a long walking route) 3. Omamori, famous for its matcha desserts in Daegu, has opened in Gyeongju. The location is the parking lot of the Joksam District. It is also close to Cheomseongdae. I went to Gyeongju last December around this time! I haven't been there yet this year, but I love Gyeongju so much that I've been there every year for three years in a row. Be sure to visit Cheomseongdae. It is one of the oldest astronomical observatories in the world, built during the reign of Queen Seondeok of Silla. It is magnificent. If you go at sunset, the sunset behind Cheomseongdae and the soft lighting blend together to create a beautiful view. It has different charms during the day and at night, so I recommend visiting during the day and at night. 2️⃣ Donggung and Wolji This place is beautiful during the day, but I think it is even more beautiful at night. Donggung reflected in the pond is really beautiful. It is a night view that makes you forget the cold weather. 3️⃣~4️⃣ Bitkkuri It is ‘Bitkkuri’ on Hwangridan-gil. As the golden hour bathed the ancient observatory in soft light, we admired the surrounding gardens, where tulips were beginning to bloom, adding vibrant colors to the serene landscape. Omamushi Main Branch is a cafe where you can comfortably spend time alone. The quiet and cozy atmosphere makes it a great environment for reading or working. I ordered hot chocolate along with the cafe's recommended desserts, pistachio macarons and vanilla cream pie. The hot chocolate was rich and smooth, and the pistachio macarons had a delightful nutty and sweet flavor. The vanilla cream pie was satisfying with its soft cream and crispy tart. It seems like the perfect place to enjoy some leisurely time alone. I plan to visit again to spend some more solo time.

Getting There - KTX from Seoul to GyeongJu takes around 2hrs. When you reach GyeongJu station, there is a bus stop right outside that can take you to downtown. Attractions - Cheomseongdae observatory, Hwangnidan-gil, Gyochon Traditional Village, Woljeonggyo Bridge, - Bulwguksa Temple, Donggung palace and Wolji pond Hotels - Maison mini hotel. It’s right in centre of downtown GyeongJu and walkable distance to many of the main attractions. It’s also close to the bus terminal where you can catch a bus to Bulwguksa temple. Food & Restaurants - Relax with coffee and cake at Lee Jae Won’s bakery. Shopping - Go to Hwangnidan-gil for souvenirs and more.
