Hotels With Parking in Valle del Cauca, Colombia

My friends and I stayed at the Faranda Cali on a friends trip to Colombia. The Faranda is located in the historical center of Cali, close to the boulevard and other historical sites, like Iglesia Ermita. Check in was relatively smooth and the hotel is relatively modern, given its surroundings. The area around the hotel is not the best, but they don't reflect the inside of the hotel. The general vibe of the hotel is Art Deco. I don't know what that has to do with Cali, Colombia, but that's what the Faranda was giving. There's one small elevator for the hotel, so if you don't mind stairs, I would advise using them at least to walk down. There's also a bar on the top floor that gets very loud when there's an event. So again, if this is a problem, request a room on the lower floor. I also wouldn't count getting any kind of workout in their ”fitness room” which is a tiny room with ancient equipment and no ventilation. The bar staff also randomly come and go, so if you go to get a drink at 8:00 p.m. there may or may not be a bar tender at the bar in the lobby which is the first thing you see when you walk into the place. On the positive side, the room rate seemed to be excessively reasonable. Breakfast was pretty okay and security is very tight at night, so you can feel pretty good about staying there. It was good to try but I think I'll pay a little bit more and stay somewhere with nicer amenities next time.

There are 2 Hiltons in Cali City, you must find out, the address of the stay, the distance between the two is very far! Breakfast is buffet, OK, fruit, rice, bread, soup!

The room was very good, that is, there was a song and dance performance at night. But all aspects are convenient, there is a shopping center downstairs. A lot of food. Shops, department stores, and supermarkets not far away. There is no bottled water in the room.

Everything was fine. However, there was no WiFi signal in the room. I had to sit on the sofas and connect my laptop and phone to the sockets and work from the corridor under the supervision of those passing by... The signal coverage was clearly done by amateurs. Breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, croissant, papaya slices, drink (very good cocoa).

NH Cali Royal is a high quality hotel although the price is very accessible and much lower that one would expect. The bedroom was very large and comfortable. I slept perfectly every night 5 star hotel room at 3 star prices. The restaurant staff are amazing and helpful at all times. This applies to the front desk staff as well. The only negative thing was that the safe in my room was unuseable. I reported this but no one fix it during my stay. There was also a large crack in one of the windows.

It is an excellent hotel with a team of employees who are willing to provide the best help to the guest, total cleanliness throughout.

Oh how I love this hotel and the staff. I stayed at the hotel for seven days and had nothing but the best experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I felt safe and at peace while traveling alone. I had no fear and was able to enjoy Cali and all that it had to offer. I will be back again Jan. See you soon Hotel El Penon.

Amazing experience! Really quiet, modern, and comfortable. Very friendly attention. It is really a good hotel if you are traveling for business or with family. The breakfast service is good, with variety and a spacious place. The views from the room are comfortable.

Excelente ubicación, a 10 minutos del centro y a 5 minutos del terminal de buses a pie. O sea todo cerca. Habitaciones, camas, aseo atención excelentes. Desayuno normalito. Instalaciones del edificio muy buenas; Salvó mejorar las puertas de algunos baños, ya que estuve en 3 habitaciones.

What a terrible experience, start to finish. My booking was for my wedding night. I was told this was the best hotel in town. The stay was awful at every possible level of service. 1. i reserved more than two weeks prior to the stay. I NEVER received any confirmation of my purchase 2. I sent a detailed email through the contact form on the cosmos website, asking for confirmation a) that my reservation was received, b) please could i have a nice room because it was our wedding night c) asking for confirmation that i could have flowers and a gift placed in the room (to be delivered on the day of the reservation by a florist) 3. After receiving no response for another week, i went to the hotel myself to confirm the reservation and the details. The first receptionist ignored my presence in front of her. The second receptionist was friendly and confirmed my reservation and confirmed that the room was the best available, and confirmed that they would have the flowers and gift placed in the room as long as they were delivered after 3pm. 4. The florist delivered the flowers and gave further instructions to staff that the gift and flowers should be delivered to the room 5. Upon arrival at reception, the gift and flowers were still at reception - i couldn't believe how awful the service was to be honest. The surprise for my wife was completely spoiled. 6. the room was in disrepair - nothing major but the paint was old and stained. when we looked up at the ceiling there were dirty patch marks. the screws on the vent looked stained and really old as did the light fixtures. the shower did not drain so halfway through the shower we were standing in water. there was disrepair and broken plaster behind the door jamb. the balcony was dirty and old looking. 7. we ordered room service because we missed breakfast by 30 minutes. we were told that the staff member would see if the chef would 'do us the favor' of making us an omelette 8. When we made these concerns clear to the front desk, the receptionist pouted and had a curt attitude which continued through the whole checkout Overall the experience was poor on all levels, but since it was our wedding night, it was appalling. - And what a surprise - the feedback form wouldn't send either. Like every other part of the experience it is broken.
