Motel 6 Moncton, NB

Motel6 is the WORST place for anyone to stay in. PLEASE DO NOT STAY THERE unless you want to wake up with bed bug bites, spiders crawling out of bathtub drain, filthy black floors and paper stuck to ceiling with. I took photos and videos, went to front desk and notified him I wouldn't be staying. I then showed him emails and sent the videos to the motel at his request. He said they would refund me immediately. I contacted ******* (who I booked through) and Motel6 told ******* they refuse to refund. So ... I'm filing a chargeback if they don't change course by the end of day Wednesday. With the video evidence I have, I'm 110% certain they won't keep my money. I work for my money and I expect proper service.

I am about honest posts, not bad posts. God knows we are easy to please and easy going. We are not high needs. This was rest was fine. And I dont want to complain. But some of the people at the hotel made us question our decision with the drinking, smoking, partying, noise. While not pet adverse, there seemed to be an inordinate amount of dogs. Room was a little dated (not a deal breaker) and bed was clean (paramount important). There was disruption through the night with loud activity (which is quite a statement from me given that I can sleep through a earthquake). Nevertheless, the checkin lady was busy but helpful. Breakfast was decent. We would probably look at other alternatives in the future (and we are reward members). That being said, I would stay here again, but it would not be my first choice.
Hilton Saint John

Although the room is not new, the facilities are good, the sea is next to it, and parking is very convenient. The parking tickets given by the hotel can be freely entered and paid without paying. The booked room does not include breakfast. The buffet on the first floor can be paid at your own expense. The semi-buffet is more than 16 Canadian dollars per person. The baby is free. It is very cost-effective and the breakfast is very rich.

Radisson Kingswood Hotel & Suites, Fredericton

This property is well located with a golf course. Pet friendly. Rooms are fairly well appointed and no carpet. The devil is in the details though! 1. We checked in, unpacked, got the pyjamas on - only to find out that the TV would not work. The front desk could not do anything about it and offered to change the room. It was late, we were already unpacked and didn’t want to repack all of our stuff and move. Needless to say, our stay was not very pleasant with no TV. 2. They charge a $100 additional deposit at check in which is refunded at checkout - you hope! How will we know if they decide to keep the deposit because they determine that we caused some sort of damage to the room? They are not verifying the rooms before checkout to ensure no damage. This is nonsense and will ensure that we don’t stay here again. 3. The towels are threadbare. See photos. I am amazed they would even use these towels. 4. The mattress had a huge stain on it which you observe every time you sit on the sofa. Kind of unpleasant. 5. The coffee maker is one of those silly little efforts that require special “pods” to be used. We asked for extra coffee at check in and none was available. They had two pods delivered to the room. Two? The coffee in the lobby is watery. Just get a decent coffeemaker and provide some coffee. 5. No breakfast. Although they do offer watery coffee in the lobby. Breakfast available for an additional charge. Really? In general, the hotel is bright and the grounds are very nice. Attention to detail and this $100 deposit silliness are issues though. Actually insurmountable in our view. The deposit policy needs to change.

Put in here for the night after a very long day. Place seems very new. Large, cheerful lobby; room was excllent with firm but very comfortable bed, excellnt washroom, shower, good towels. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was very good- much better than the usual 'breakfast included' at hotels. Also very competitively priced
