Facilities: It's an older hotel with comprehensive amenities, though some are showing their age. The room itself is very spacious. The two TVs are small and have poor picture quality. However, the hot water was sufficient for three people showering consecutively.
Cleanliness: Despite being old, it was very clean – no strange odors or hair, and the bedding and towels were quite good.
Environment: It's very close to Jiefangbei with many dining options nearby. The hotel breakfast had limited choices (noodles, rice noodles), and the taste was average. The 'wanza' (noodles with mixed toppings) was hard and not cooked properly. Even the highly-praised croissants were cold and not fresh! But it was enough to fill up. The afternoon tea was decent, I especially liked the Napoleon cake, and the fruit was very fresh with good service.
Service: It was my mother's birthday on the day we checked in, but the hotel offered no birthday wishes, which was a bit awkward! Since our package included some perks, they initially told me to contact the platform myself, but I later went downstairs and spoke to a different receptionist. After checking into the room, the snack and pear soup delivery service was very good! It was my birthday on the day we checked out. I called the front desk to ask if we could check out 30 minutes late. The front desk called me back afterward, having noticed it was my birthday, and told me to pick up a small gift at the front desk when leaving. I feel the hotel's procedures are inconsistent, and the service varies.

For families with kids visiting Chongqing, the Westin Hotel is a must-stay, offering unparalleled views of Chongqing's night skyline.
During the autumn break, I traveled with my child and even brought our dog 🐶. After contemplating between four five-star hotels in the Jiefangbei business district, I ultimately chose the Westin based on our travel needs. This five-star hotel did not disappoint. The front desk service was incredibly thoughtful, and the customer service小姐姐 (a polite term for a female staff member) was exceptionally attentive during our two-night stay.
The lobby features a unique wall adorned with framed Hermès scarves. From the comfort of your bed, you can gaze at the Jialing River, and the executive lounge is available for guests from 8:00 to 22:30.
Even if you're not staying overnight, you can still enjoy Chongqing's night views from up high for free! Be sure to visit the Westin's 54th floor for a spectacular view 🌃. The infinity pool is open to the public free of charge, so you can access the 54th floor even without a reservation. You'll need to transfer elevators from the 51st-floor lobby 🛗. If you're a guest, you can also access the 52nd-floor executive lounge. The night view is truly magnificent, with the buildings opposite displaying a rotating 'Hello Chongqing' message, perfect for photos [golden potato R][golden potato R].
I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time. I was a bit hesitant after comparing online, but it turned out to be a fantastic choice, no regrets! 🌟

This hotel’s location is truly the “golden spot” for tourism in Chongqing! It’s just a 5-minute walk to the Liberation Monument, making it super convenient to explore the business district and try the unique snacks at the Ba Yi Street Food Market. It’s only a 15-minute walk to Hongya Cave, where you can watch the lights of the hanging pavilions in the evening and enjoy the dazzling nighttime view of the confluence of the two rivers. A 10-minute walk takes you to Shibaji Steps, where you can experience the clash between old Chongqing’s bustling atmosphere and its new facades. The Chongqing Cable Car North Station is also very close, allowing you to experience the fun of crossing the river via an “air corridor.” After taking the cable car, it’s only a 5-minute walk to take photos at Cloud Eye, which offers a 360-degree view of the entire city. There’s no need to worry about planning transportation; popular attractions are conveniently connected, and by walking throughout the journey, you can unlock the stunning sights of Chongqing’s core areas. Staying here in Chongqing is truly wise!

Staying on the 25th floor, this room is super spacious, easily 40㎡ (even a bit empty due to minimal furnishings).
It was quiet at night, got great sleep for three days without any disturbance.
I found the hygiene to be good, everything was quite clean, though the bathroom isn't wet/dry separated.
Besides the two large beds, the room also has a small sofa and a small table, which provides even more living space. Great for watching movies from bed.
Being right by Jiefangbei means easy access everywhere, the snack street is just a 3-minute walk downstairs.

This hotel in Wulong Fairy Mountain is absolutely fantastic! I'm used to traditional guesthouses, so I decided to try something different and booked this camping-style hotel. The rooms are mainly space capsules and tents. Since I was with my two kids, I chose a space capsule, and it was truly a delightful surprise – the kids absolutely loved it! They had so much fun at the hotel and didn't want to leave. In the evening, the light and shadow effects throughout the camp were really atmospheric. The guy at the front desk was super enthusiastic and always helped us immediately with anything we needed. The driver was also really nice and available for pickups and drop-offs anytime. Plus, the breakfast was abundant, with so much food we couldn't even finish it all! The hotel is also very close to the Fairy Mountain Tourist Center, making it incredibly convenient for visiting the scenic area! We came in November this time, and the weather was beautiful, clear skies all around. We'll definitely be back if we get the chance!!
Facilities: The hotel facilities are a bit old.
Hygiene: The hygiene is still very good.
Environment: The hotel is very close to Metro Lines 1 and 3, making it convenient for travel. There are also local specialty noodle shops right outside the hotel.
Service: Warm, thoughtful, and meticulous.

The room was spotless, clean, and comfortable. They also thoughtfully provided all the necessary disposable toiletries, including laundry detergent for underwear at the sink. Many small details were handled exceptionally well. The front desk lady was incredibly warm and attentive, even kindly helping us wash and dry our clothes. We're very grateful to the hotel for providing such a comfortable and reassuring stay for our trip. We'll definitely be back!
I was actually planning to complain. I booked a room, but they said check-in wasn't until after 4 PM, or even 5 PM.
However, the front desk handled it quite well. First, at 4:30 PM, they arranged a temporary room for us to rest for a bit. Second, they gave us two of the hotel's own cookies as a snack. Third, they upgraded my original room type to a suite and added an extra bed.
Traveling during a holiday can be tiring for guests, and I still hope that even during peak season, hotels can ensure guests' right to check in before 4 PM.
The Feilong Hotpot in Houbao Community, about 800 meters walk from the hotel, was delicious, and the next morning I also tried the famous Baokan Noodles.
I found a super satisfying hotel with amazing Chongqing night views at Eling No. 2 Factory! I fell in love with it after just one stay!
The moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I was drawn in by the strong artistic atmosphere – the spiral staircase is also very well-designed! The hotel's factory-style architecture, blended with art museum elements, creates a unique spatial ambiance. From the viewing terrace, you get a panoramic view of the mountain city, and a sense of relaxation just washes over you.
We chose a room with huge floor-to-ceiling windows that offer an incredible view of Chongqing's night skyline! The room also has a bathtub with a night view, and a giant projector screen! The bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas, and the skin-friendly bedding made everything feel so comfortable and relaxing.
The hotel is located within the Eling No. 2 Factory cultural and creative park, which has many industrial-style buildings and is great for exploring. Liziba Light Rail Station is just a walk down the hill, perfect for seeing the light rail pass through the building! It's also very convenient to catch a taxi right outside the hotel, and it's quite close to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong.
From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was embraced by a warm atmosphere. The room was full of thoughtful details, the bathroom had no unpleasant odors, and the staff were incredibly attentive, always available when called. Breakfast offered a rich variety of options. The hotel's location is super convenient, making it easy to find places to eat and get around. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was so comfortable that I slept wonderfully. Definitely great value for money!

GGenOhlsonA cosy family-friendly enchanted hideaway in the mountains with the clouds. The whole place seems to have been a long-time passion in creating the most charming and comfortable inn from conception to realisation with both the exterior and interior decorated in either a rustic country cottage or a European apartment style from the last century. We were so happy here and my child especially appreciated the room and all of its surroundings.
Every nook and cranny of the place is excellently utiilised. From the dining room as well as the main outside eatery balcony, one has a beautiful view of the mountainside in all its greenery with butterflies flitting amongst flowers. Don't forget to check out the third story balconies and the library. Screen projector fittings are in place for a medium-sized conference. The place even has a couple of majiang table nooks should you want to play with friends.
The surrounding forest environment of the inn is all sorts of paths and green terraces going off in different directions. There is a playpark for children with its own pedal-powered mini-roller coaster and other items for children to climb on.
There is an off-site pond and ancient stone bridge nearby. One can take a short hike up the driveway and explore the diverging walking track paths. There's also an ecological technology exhibition centre not far up the road from the inn.
A large portion of the clientele when we were there were day trip visitors in family and friend groups. Big tables as well as KTV facilities could be booked for the day.
The food quality is fantastic and the portions generous. There are no nearby shops so all meals are taken in-house; the staff will consult you about when and what is on offer from the extensive menu. You can specify whether you'd want your food spicy or not when possible depending on the dish.
The genuinely friendly and accomodating staff take such good care of you and step in whenever they feel you may need some assistance. My child had a bad cough at the time, and they were so kind bringing her hot drinks with honey and offering medicine they happened to have there.
My Chinese is not good, but with a standard translation app, you're able to communicate what you need and the staff are so obliging to help. They genuinely do seem to be happy to be working there, and cudos and credit it to the owner for taking such good care of the staff that they in turn carry it over to their care for their guests. It was a pleasure to meet them and the owner.
MM9435****Absolutely amazing, I've already recommended it to my friends. They must stay here when they visit Xiahaoli. It offers incredible value for money and allows you to really immerse yourself in the atmosphere of living within a scenic area. You can enjoy the night view, leisurely have a drink in the evening, admire the scenery amidst the morning mist, have breakfast prepared by the hotel, and browse the creative shops.
Ambiance: It's an old building with a traditional Chinese style. The rooms are spacious and well-laid out.
Facilities: The bathroom amenities are excellent, and both the bathtub and toilet are very good.
Service: The staff (young ladies) are very thoughtful. They picked us up before we arrived at the hotel because it's located inside the scenic area and they were worried we might not find it.
Hygiene: Very clean and tidy.
JJo TehThe property could benefit from some updates and maintenance. One of the queen bedrooms was converted from a balcony, making it extremely cold during winter. Additionally, the heater in one of the rooms next to the hall was not working, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep through the night.
The bathroom in one of the rooms remained choked throughout our stay, and overall, the bathrooms were not thoroughly cleaned. The kitchen also lacked proper cleanliness, which was disappointing.
On a positive note, the view from the hall was decent, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to make up for the shortcomings in comfort and cleanliness.

AAskeRMThe best hotel we’ve experienced in China. We are budget travelers by all means but this was just insane for the price. Maybe because we visited in early December, but we were immediately upgraded
from a single queen bed room to a double queen bed with river view room. The cleanliness was top notch and the amenities were nice too. Thank you very much

MM857470****Stumbled upon an incredibly delightful three-bedroom guesthouse with a river view, and I'm totally hooked after checking in! The moment I opened the door, I was stunned by the river scenery. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room bring the river right into the room. Waking up to the morning sun sparkling on the water and falling asleep to the river breeze and city lights at night – every photo I took was incredibly atmospheric.
The three-bedroom layout is super practical. The master bedroom has a scenic balcony, the second bedroom is bright and airy, and the children's room is decorated playfully. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, making for a perfect night's sleep. The living and dining areas are spacious and bright, with all amenities provided. The kitchen is fully equipped, so we could cook and dine together, feeling completely at home.
The guesthouse's location is superb. It's just a few minutes' walk to the riverside promenade, perfect for a relaxing stroll after dinner with the river breeze. Transportation and shopping nearby are also very convenient. The host is incredibly nice; they sent detailed check-in instructions in advance and were super quick to respond to any questions. Overall, it's clean and tidy, with thoughtful touches everywhere. It's perfect for both family trips and friends traveling together. It's already on my 're-book' list; I'll definitely stay here again next time!
GGenOhlsonThree stops away from the airport on line 3 (dark blue), this cute little apartment is suited perfectly for a day or two in the area. The building complex is conveniently situated right next to Huaxing subway stop, exit 1.
The building is called 'Huakai Youth City', but it's not a youth hostel specifically. It's a regular apartment building with families and people of all ages living there, so don't think you're screened off staying there on account of age.
The apartment itself is very clean with freshly laundered bedding and a small balcony that looks out onto the tree-lined street. A small kitchen has a couple of basics to supplement groceries bought. There is a supermarket directly under the apartment complex that could supplement any/all that you're missing. There are also a bunch of other amenities in the area including multiple pharmacies and a shopping mall.
The caretaker was very sweet and took a bunch of time out of his day to escort me personally down to the police station to register my passport in the area. Waited with me, accompanied me through the whole process and then took me all the way back. This would only apply if you're a foreigner.
The language barrier isn't an issue if you have a translation app set up or you could just add the person on Wechat and message translate.
MMillennia AThere’s no front office. I think it’s my mistake not contacting the CP beforehand, because when I asked around, there are some front office of other apartments and they help me to contact the owner of my apartment. And unfortunately when I entered my room, the water was leaking. I informed the owner and they were very helpful. I ordered two rooms, both of them are good enough as I expected. The only thing that need to be improved is the towel, they only gave us disposable towel.

GGuest UserConvenient for travel, economical and affordable, mainly the room is clean and hygienic, I have stayed here several times, and the experience is the same every time. There are more night markets downstairs than before. After dinner, walk along the river and enjoy the breeze. It is really beautiful.
