Pet friendly Hotels in Chongqing, China

Haha, I definitely have to give this a great review! It's pet-friendly, the room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were complete. The environment was also very comfortable, and the staff were incredibly enthusiastic. The location was a bit hard to find, but there was staff to help with luggage. My check-in experience was fantastic, I highly recommend it! I'll choose this place again next time I visit! Haha

Highly recommend! This hotel offers excellent value for money. The location is superb, with Raffles City and Hongyadong nearby, and a metro station right downstairs, which is incredibly convenient. Although the hotel doesn't provide breakfast, there's a whole street of food stalls right below. I genuinely recommend everyone to stay here!

This hotel is nestled in the heart of Xiahaoli, a beautifully renovated century-old Western-style building. During the jacaranda season, I silently wished on my way there, and incredibly, I was assigned a room with views of both the blooming flowers and the river! It perfectly captured the民國 (Republic of China) era aesthetic I love. The staff were also incredibly friendly, and they even have adorable pets named Laikai and Caicai. The afternoon tea pastries and sparkling juice were absolutely fantastic. On one side, you have the high-rise river views, and on the other, the stilt houses nestled under hundred-year-old banyan trees – a seamless blend of old and new. This is Xiahaoli. There are also some charming independent shops here; I even picked up a tea set and some delicious local food.

After comparing a few options, here are my thoughts: I really liked the Regent's Chinese-inspired style – very elegant and grand. However, the room rates were too high, and river view rooms even more so. Next up was the InterContinental. The views of the Bund and the river were perfect, but the room decor was a bit plain and uninspiring, and the price was also on the higher side. Then there were places like the Indigo and various other modern, high-rise hotels with river views; their postmodern style just isn't for me. So, why did I end up choosing the Westin? It was a balanced decision. The room had a decent elevation and a respectable river view. The price increase during the Dragon Boat Festival was acceptable, and the Executive Room offered afternoon tea and light meals, saving me the hassle of finding food outside. There were some downsides though: The afternoon tea was too simple (only three types of small cakes, and ordinary fruit). The light meals seemed designed to make you wonder if you'd forgotten breakfast, with half the items being breakfast foods. For protein, there was only chicken breast – they really cut corners on cost! It was the worst executive lounge I've experienced in any hotel. Breakfast was good, though. I was happy with the Western bread and cheese. The Chinese section was quite mediocre, perhaps because this hotel has more foreign guests than domestic ones. The room itself was fine, but there were no proper facilities for boiling water and making tea; I had to make do at the washbasin.

Excellent hotel in a fantastic location right in the heart of Chongqing. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Being within walking distance of Jiefangbei and many attractions made exploring the city incredibly easy. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

We stayed in a yurt dome and it was wonderful! It was a little chilly outside in April, but the space heater and heated blankets kept us cozy inside. The water pressure and heat for the shower was great! The property was beautiful and well taken care of. The breakfast was nice to get us going every morning. The driver drove us back and forth to the visitor center everyday which was very helpful and convenient. We visited Wulong Longshuixia Fissure Gorge and Three Natural Bridges. We also went to Wulong Lanba Art Park to see the Thomas Dambo trolls and other art installations. There is so much beautiful scenery in the area. Don't hesitate to stay a few days or longer.

This hotel has unique decor. I booked a river-view room with a private hot spring. Being on a high floor, the view outside was expansive, and the night scenery was especially beautiful. You can enjoy a bath right in your room. The lobby is on the fourth floor, and the staff were very friendly. Upon check-in, we received a small gift package containing snacks and a fridge magnet. The room was fully stocked with drinking water, beverages, tea, and coffee.

The environment is clean and quiet, the bed is super soft and comfortable, and the service is thoughtful and incredibly attentive. It's also really convenient for exploring and dining out, and they even offer afternoon tea and coffee! It’s a great spot for photos. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chongqing.

On our last day in Chongqing, we chose to stay at the Hilton. We didn't have high expectations, but we were still quite satisfied! There were a few pleasant surprises: after breakfast, the staff invited our child to do some crafts and took many photos of them; the hotel lobby sold souvenirs that were actually more exquisite and cheaper than those sold outside, so we bought a bunch of fridge magnets, Miao silver jewelry, and more. When they learned we were going to the museum in the morning, they proactively informed us that our room included executive benefits, allowing for a 3 PM late check-out.

My stay here exceeded all expectations! The hotel's location is fantastic, making it easy to get around and find places to eat. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and was fully stocked with amenities. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful, and check-in was a breeze. Even the cleaning staff were attentive and thorough. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and elegant. This place offers incredible value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip and highly recommend it!
