The island is a wooden homestay, this is relatively new, and it is still expanding. The sound insulation effect of the room is basically zero. On the first day, someone played songs in the early morning, and it was too noisy to count, because the front desk was not 24 hours, plus the language was not available, and the squat could bear it. There is no active room service here. Unlike in China, she needs to tell the boss that she will send someone to deal with it. There is no wifi in the room, I don't know if the boss deliberately did it. Breakfast is more general, anyway, I don't like it very much, walk to Shaman Rock for more than 20 minutes, you can swim in the lake.

The room is clean and warm. The front desk service attitude is very good and they can communicate in English. This is great! The hotel is a few kilometers away from the village, with Lake Baikal outside. Staying in this hotel in the cold wind of Siberia is very warm and cost-effective!
Traveling to Lake Baikal in winter, stay in the town of Li for two days and stay at the legendary Baikara. The hotel is built next to the lake and is very unique. It is an attraction in itself. I booked a lake view room. Although the room is not big, you can enjoy the incomparable sunset of Lake Baikal standing in front of the window, which is really comfortable. The front desk does not speak English, but communication is smooth through a translator. Alipay and WeChat are available at the hotel front desk, and the front desk can also help call a taxi. What deserves special recommendation is the hotel's own restaurant, which is delicious, reasonably priced and has a good sense of service. When we checked in, we saw many Russians dining and it felt good, so we tried it and didn't expect it to taste really good. We had two meals in a row because it was delicious. Next time I want to go in summer, I will stay at this hotel. The lake view is so beautiful!
Stop twice (06.10.2025 and 17.10.2025). Beautiful location - close to the airport and no noise from the road. Excellent, responsive staff - starting from the resepshne, ending delivery to the room from the restaurant. Breakfasts are great, in a cozy restaurant. Food in the restaurant of Hunters - a separate story! Huge portions, delicious food... and, for especially prudent, small guests will prepare both cash and purée with salad 🙏 Very grateful to the staff! Any request for a call to the receptor is executed instantly, without long expectations - and from the side of the waiter and from the restaurant. Thank you for your work! I will not look for other options anymore, we will stay only in the Star 🫶🏻

Facilities: Public restrooms, prices similar to those in the city center. Bicycles are available for 300 baht per hour, or 1000 baht for unlimited use.
Hygiene: Clean and hygienic, with a pleasant fragrance upon entering.
Environment: The interior is nice, but the exterior is all dirt roads. The location is rather remote, far from the main road and restaurants.
Service: The owner, Mike, provides excellent service. He and his family prepare the meals, and English is fluent.
The hotel is suitable for those who just need a place to sleep; the price-quality ratio is decent. The room was cool, although the radiators were hot. The duvet on the double bed was small and thin. Breakfast starts a bit late, at 8 a.m., but they accommodated us and served us an early breakfast because we were rushing to catch a train.
Check-in and check-out were smooth thanks to translation software. The room was large enough for a family of three, with two single beds and a large sofa bed, not cramped at all. Located right by the Angara River, we stayed for two days and visited Lake Baikal. Our family of three had a wonderful time!
Very perfect hotel, very quiet sleep well, breakfast is very rich, you can see Lake Baikal on the balcony, it is really boring to go to the opposite hotel to drink coffee and eat a cake, it is said that Putin came to Listwiyanka to live opposite. The village is very quiet and suitable for walking and stopping to bask in the sun. Don't have too much hope for Lake Baikal, otherwise you will be disappointed. The room I live in is eastward, the sun shines on the bed in the morning, the staff is helpful, although not English, relying on translation software to communicate, you can still feel the kindness and enthusiasm of the staff.

Great
Service pretty nice with warm hospitality. A signature Chinese restaurant located at the first floor featuring Peking duck. Good location from the airport, just 4-5 mins by taxi.
Thanks to the Europa Hotel for their hospitality, the breakfasts are something else, everything is delicious and beautiful 😻 💎There is a shopping center next to the hotel, which makes life a lot easier 🗣️🙌🏻Thank you so much 🪄
This isn't our first time staying at Mayak. This time, we stayed in the Mayachok annex. We liked everything: the room is small, but modern, clean, and comes with all the essentials—shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and dental kit. There's a beautiful view of Lake Baikal from the windows. The bed linen is spotless and snow-white. The only thing was the smell of cigarettes in the bathroom. The breakfast was decent, beautifully presented. The reception staff was excellent. We'd love to come back.
A truly perfect hotel! It was so quiet I slept very well, and the breakfast was plentiful. The balcony offered a view of Lake Baikal, and if you got bored, you could go to the hotel across the street for coffee and cake. Apparently, Putin stayed at the hotel opposite Listvyanka. The village is very quiet, perfect for strolling around and soaking up the sun. Don't have too high expectations for Lake Baikal, or you'll be disappointed. My room faced east, and the morning sun shining on my bed was incredibly comforting. The staff were very helpful; although they didn't speak English, we could communicate using translation software, and you could still feel their kindness and enthusiasm.
I was worried about the cold, so I still chose a hotel... but there weren't any reviews for this one. I arrived with some trepidation, only to find everything was perfect. The room was clean and warm, the shower water was hot, the breakfast selection was exquisite, the view was amazing, and the hotel dinner was the best I'd had in days. Even the toothpaste was great! The handsome young man at the front desk kept helping me call a taxi... his English was okay, but he mainly used a translator and typing... The hotel even booked me the last dog sled ride of the day, as the next day was fully booked. I was incredibly touched... Booking on the spot is definitely cheaper than booking through a platform, but during peak season, whether you can book depends on luck. The hotel also arranged for a car to pick me up from the dog sled ride, which was another touching gesture in this snowy, remote place. I stayed for two days, visited the Lake Baikal Museum, and took the cable car to the top. I didn't get to ride the snowmobiles or the rubber band slide, haha, I'll come back next time! The hotel and the people of Lhasa were super nice. We had so much fun singing and dancing in the snow at night, but the old wine froze instantly... Quick, pour it and drink it quickly... PS: On the way from Osaka to Litsea, we passed the famous deer; remember to stop and take a picture!
I really liked the hotel. The friendly and attentive receptionist, Diana, was always ready to help with any questions. She's a wonderful host, kind and responsive. I had room 15, and the view was simply magnificent, with mountains on both sides, right down to Lake Baikal. The balcony adjoins room 14, but that didn't bother me at all as the balcony itself is large. Breakfasts are made with fresh ingredients, prepared by a chef every morning. I was especially pleased that my preferences were taken into account during my stay (I don't eat meat). The location is convenient. It's quiet, away from the hustle and bustle, yet very close to the embankment, market, wheel, and seal aquarium (3-4 minutes' walk). The Great Baikal Trail is also within walking distance (7 minutes from the ped center). I can imagine how beautiful it is here in the summer. I'll definitely be back. Thank you for the comfort and coziness.
The room is very big! The breakfast is also delicious! But because we wore the bathrobe from our friend's room back to our room, our room was cleaned the next day, and the bathrobe that was missing from our friend's room was probably taken away by the aunt, and then the hotel suspected that we stole the bathrobe... It took a long time to argue! Because we had to catch up with the next trip, it was a good time to spend money to avoid disaster during the Chinese New Year! Fortunately, Ctrip's customer service is reliable! ! They solved it for us online quickly!
