The staff were friendly and the actual hotel was quite elegant. The grounds were amazing, and there were plenty of lovely places for photos with colourful flowers. We ate dinner in the hotel and the presentation of the food and the quality was excellent. The steak was cooked to perfection. The mushroom risotto wasn't quite as good as it had some crunchy bits of rice in it. It needed about 10 minutes longer on a slow heat, and then it would have been perfect; as it wasn't that hot either. This hotel boasts that it has a spa, swimming pool, and lots of different spa room experiences. Normally, when you use the leisure facilities connected to the hotel that you're staying in, they provide towels free of charge. Not this one. We walked over with our swimwear and room key card to be told that towels were £1 each. We explained that we didn't bring a wallet, money, or a phone to pay with. We asked if they could charge it to our room. They couldn't!! They said that you can use the one in your hotel room or walk back to the hotel reception and they'd give us them. Not helpful at all. Then, we went in to find the two foot spa's didn't work, and when I said it to the leisure centre manager, his reply was ' I know as I reported them last week'. But not a sign on them to say that they weren't working! Overall, the hotel needed a bit of a spruce up; but they made up for it with friendly staff. We paid to play a 9 hole game of golf and the staff in the golf shop was amazing.

We had an excellent and relaxing stay at Belton Woods Hotel. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The food especially the breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. During our stay we used the pool and spa facilities which were all very clean, the pool was nice and warm and large enough for doing few lengths without getting in to anyone's way.

well beautiful spot, clean and comfortable,with all use need in a caravan,can't fault it. bur if it's peace and quiet your looking for ,forget it! planes flying over , dogs barking , inconsiderate neighbours (noise 12am onwards ) jet skis racing from 8am till 6pm. once you paid to get it in ,it's carry on paying ,nothing for kids other than a small park is free. activities aren't reasonably priced ,drinks are over priced ,meals expensive for what they are , shop is useful but also highly inflated. staff were nice and friendly in general, overall Friday to Monday my daughter and I . cost £550 roughly incase you wondered
