A very good hotel with good sized rooms. It’s within an easy walk from the Shinkansen station. The rooms are clean and reasonably and provide good views of the surrounding area.
The best experience is at breakfast where the staff provided outstanding service. They do everything they can to please. They are friendly, polite and helpful. They make the overall experience excellent and are well above average. Thank you especially to the breakfast staff, especially the waiters and the people who greet you when you arrive at breakfast.
More than happy to return, especially with such great staff.
Breakfast is a mix of Japanese and western food and is well worth a try. The sweet corn soup is very good and is always nice and hot.
House keeping staff are also very good and are always happy to help.
The only area to improve would be the airconditioning in the lifts which can be quite hot at times in summer.
Overall a great experience mostly due to the lovely and caring breakfast staff.
Thank you

New hotel right opposite Hakata station Chikushi exit. Easier to walk aboveground as hotel is within view. There is a link underground fr station but may be confusing to find. We stayed in a triple room and it was spacious and comfortable with separate rooms for toilet and shower. Individually packed toiletries were provided. Only thing I found missing was disposable shower caps which was unusual for a hotel. Lots of restaurants and shops in Hakata station and surrounds. If you have to return a car to Avis/Budget, shop is 5 mins walk away.
The room was quite spacious for Japanese standards, with excellent natural light from the window and effective blackout curtains. The toiletries, including shampoo and hand cream, were of high quality. Breakfast offered a good variety of Japanese and Western options. While the staff in the restaurant, at the front desk, and for luggage storage and inquiries weren't perfectly fluent in English, their service was professional and thorough. We visited during the 'Respect for the Aged Day' long weekend, so the price was a bit higher than usual, but still reasonable. Having stayed at the Okura in Tokyo before and had a wonderful experience, it's great to see the brand's excellent reputation being maintained.
This is an incredibly comfortable hot spring resort offering excellent value for money. So many complimentary amenities are included, such as afternoon tea, beverages, swimming, bicycle usage, and a shuttle bus service. The rooms are very spacious, boasting beautiful ocean views. At night, with no light pollution, you can enjoy a breathtaking starry sky. There are hardly any international guests, making for a wonderfully quiet and peaceful atmosphere.
The room was excellent, offering stunning views of both the sea and the PayPay Dome right outside. The service was also top-notch, truly living up to Hilton's renowned reputation. The location is superb, being beachfront yet incredibly convenient for transport. Plus, there's a large and affordable outlet store right next door.

The Grand Hyatt Fukuoka is situated in the heart of Hakata, offering a tranquil retreat despite its convenient, central location. Rooms boast stunning city or harbor views. The standout feature is **Club Olympus**, the executive lounge, which offers exquisite all-day dining services. From freshly prepared breakfasts and afternoon tea to evening cocktail hours, the quality is consistently exceptional. We especially recommend the Saga beef appetizers and signature cocktails served in the evening. The rooms blend modern design with Japanese aesthetics, and the bedding is incredibly comfortable. The large communal bath features wonderfully soft water, and the sauna facilities are excellent. Service is exceptionally attentive, and the front desk can assist with reservations at popular restaurants. Perfect for both business and leisure travelers, it's a top choice for luxury accommodation in Fukuoka city center.
This is the place I stayed on the second day. It was very cozy and the shower facilities were clean and well-maintained, so I was able to use it comfortably. I plan to use it again next time. Thank you. There is Nakatsu Street nearby, so it was very convenient to look around. The photo is of Nakatsu.
Standard Ritz service, nice as usuals. However, the front desk staff is quite mean, stayed two nights and requested extend late checkout from 1pm to 1:30pm but rejected, what a shame to a loyal customer to Ritz and it also do not in line with Ritz global marketing”Late checkout”promotion video. 🫣🫣in over all this hotel is mean, swimming poor need extra charge ¥4000/ppl. It is shame and surprising, we stayed a many Ritz Carlton in the world and never seen one need to charge swimming fee😓😓😑. For birthday trip, it is the worst arrangements among all other Ritz Carlton, no bday card message, no simple room decor etc. Do not recommend this Ritz among all Ritz hotels . Concierge service is good.
Don't be fooled by the pool photos. This is not a hotel, but a residence. Or, it's more correct to call it a condo. It's good because you can cook your own food. Unlike the exterior, the interior is old. However, the interior space is very spacious and the bathroom and toilet are separated, which is good. One downside is that you have to use a key to open the door from the lobby entrance, which is somewhat inconvenient. And the outdoor pool is very small, unlike the hotel's promotional photos. You may be fooled by the photos. It seems that one of the several condos is rented, and it's confusing with the entrance to the other buildings. It's hard to find the hotel entrance when you first visit. In terms of personal privacy, it's much better. However, the daily rate is unexpectedly expensive.

A new perspective to define luxury. A bit tropic and funky way of premium resort, of course: with A Style😊😊😊
The balcony, bathroom and the aisle after entrance are great spots for me and my husband.
A great hotel you must consider in Fukuoka.

GGuest UserThe rooms are quite spacious and all offer sea views. It's located at Fukuoka's Uminonakamichi Station, with an aquarium and a large park nearby, perfect for a relaxing two-day stay at the hotel. There's a shuttle bus service to and from Hakata Station; you might want to inquire about its pickup/drop-off point at Hakata Station before checking in. The restaurants are also good, offering a variety of culinary options.

GGuest UserThe view is the hotel's biggest advantage. It's right in front of the sea, so it's great if the weather is good. If there are any downsides, it's hard to get to from the city center, but that's why there aren't many people, so it's good for people who want to avoid crowds. One thing to note is that there are almost no restaurants within walking distance. There are no convenience stores either. There is a bicycle rental service, but it costs 500 yen per hour. It's difficult to eat or do some shopping outside of the hotel's restaurants and bars.
