Reception at 4 pm was slow and it was necessary for several guests to wait for the two reception people even though they had three other people greeting guests. The nearby Shinkansen station provides easy access to the hotel which is an easy 5-10 minutes walk. Wifi worked well and the air conditioning was good especially in the cold weather. Rooms are a good size and in good condition with above average views. House keeping was also good, though guests need to request daily services by placing a card on the room door otherwise daily service is not provided. The four lifts provided an efficient service. I didn’t have breakfast on this occasion but have had it in the past and it’s of a good quality and high standard. The staff are lovely and caring. The location is good being near the main Shinkansen station. Beyond the station there are shopping centres and street malls with a variety of restaurants and shops to meet most people’s needs. There are also many nearby restaurants that should suit most people’s cuisine, budget and type of food. Buses and subway stations are nearby and provide access to various parts of the city. There are several attractions within 30-60 minutes of the hotel such as temples and museums. Overall a pleasant stay and happy to visit again.

The rooftop hot spring offers mountain views. The room size is comparable to a 300 sq ft room in Anqing. It's right next to the high-speed rail station, so getting a taxi can be a hassle.

The location and condition were all good, and the room was much more spacious than I expected. I think this was the first place I stayed in during my trip to Japan where I could fully open two suitcases.

The room was quite spacious, as it's a hotel-style apartment, which is a bit different from a regular hotel. There was a Chinese-speaking assistant at the front desk, so communication was no problem. I didn't see any non-smoking rooms when I booked, so I'm not sure if they were fully booked, but for a non-smoker, a smoking room really reeks, and they don't seem to do any smoke treatment. The decor is a bit old-fashioned, with no smart features, but it was an experience to see that 'old money' style. The parking lot next door is quite expensive, around 1500-1600 yen a day, but you can enter and exit freely. You might find cheaper parking a bit further away. It's very close to the Fukuoka Urban Expressway, right after you exit. Nishijin Station is about a ten-minute walk, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options around there.

When I booked, Trip.com recommended this hotel as the number one in Fukuoka for food, so I didn't hesitate to book it. However, when it came to breakfast, I was truly disappointed and felt quite let down: ① The coffee was the worst I've had in any hotel in Japan. ② There was a lack of substantial dishes; only one salmon dish could be considered so, but it tasted really bad. ③ Almost all the dishes were unappetizing. ④ The room facilities were not as good as those in a decent business hotel back home (China). ⑤ The hotel policy stated free parking when I booked, but I was charged 2000 yen per day at check-out. Due to the language barrier, I couldn't get a clear explanation. ⑥ The room lighting was dim and very uncomfortable. However, the hotel's location is indeed excellent, with full sea views and convenient transportation. The experience might be better if staying in the summer.

Pros **The hot springs are open 24 hours and can be switched between men's and women's sections.** **One side features a jungle bath, while the other has an open-air bath.** **I was satisfied with the course meal served.** **Cons** **Since it is an older building, there is some noise.** **Because many local families visit, if there are children in the next room, the thumping sound from the floor echoes into my room.** **There is nothing nearby, so I recommend buying any shopping before entering.** **Note that there are snacks for gifts and vending machines inside.**

This was my second stay here, and it was very comfortable. The hotel staff are all very enthusiastic and the service is excellent. The only downside is that the price was really expensive right before Christmas. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a mall where you can find drugstores, Onitsuka Tiger, Moussy, and Sanrio – a one-stop shop for everything! There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, including many popular bakeries, all within walking distance.

Hip hotel, hip food, room, balcony, all-inclusive food~ And a hotel with a 2:00 PM check-out time ♥️❤️🩷 Stayed here twice. Young, casual, yet professional staff! The second time, there were no rooms at this hotel, so I stayed at the Tenjin One Building One Fukuoka Hotel for two nights (same chain hotel). Here we go~~ For me, except for the pillow, this place was better than the new One Hotel!! Exit Hakata Station's east exit and take the main road on the right. A leisurely 10-minute walk, a brisk 5-minute walk. This is it!!

We had a wonderful stay at Okura Hotel Fukuoka! The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, and their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The amenities were well-prepared and of great quality, and the housekeeping team was very thoughtful and attentive. The hotel has a gym, sauna, and swimming pool — entry requires an additional fee, but the pricing is reasonable. We came to celebrate my dad’s birthday. Although no special decorations could be arranged, the hotel kindly prepared some birthday cookies as a gesture, which was very sweet. This hotel will definitely be my top choice whenever I visit Fukuoka again.
