This Shangri-La does not have the iconic aroma smell in the lobby area. And throughout our stay of 2N, we noticed they do not have the iconic smell! How disappointing. The front desk lady is professional but service without smile. Very robotic. We visited the lobby lounge and we were served by this waitress that is just doing her job, not friendly. The breakfast is awesome, Shang's standard. Room is old and need a facelift badly. A far cry from the other Shang that I've visited.

I come to Dalian with my friends for a short trip and chose this hotel because we want the sea view, the hotel location is so convenience and not too far from the airport, around 30 minutes. All of the staffs are so friendly and helpful. We come during December and the hotel was fulled with beautiful Christmas decorations. If you want the hotel with good view and relaxing I really recommend this one

Great service, gave us a free upgrade to deluxe room on the first day. Excellent view of the sea view and light show at night from the room! Also gave a free fruit platter and toy seal on the first day. Towels and bathrobe are also of good quality.

The hotel is well located. the rooms are spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The shower is nice, a lot of water comes out and the water doesn't pool on the floor. The breakfast is very tasty and is served directly at the table.

A wonderful hotel right on the coast with a sea view. I had a deluxe room as an upgrade and it was fantastic. Food was very good and staff very pleasant.

This second time staying here, like the first, didn't disappoint. As before, visiting during the off-peak time is ideal for a quiet, uncrowded getaway. The sea-view room is welcoming and comfortable, with a view that is uncluttered and peaceful; opening the patio doors to the sound of waves rolling in equals instant relaxation. Aside from having a super comfortable bed and all the useful amenities one could need, there were simple niceties about the room, like the ability to adjust the temperature and fan speed (which runs quietly without disturbing sleep), ample hot water to fill a soaker tub, and multiple options for adjusting the room lighting. The hotel is immaculately clean, the grounds are meticulously maintained, and access to the beach is just steps away. The breakfast is substantial, with a variety of both Chinese and Western dishes. The staff was friendly and happy to care for our needs, even providing a power converter which I forgot to pack. Those in search of a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of the city can't go wrong by staying here. Highly recommend, and hope to visit again in the future. Really enjoyed the use of the gym and pool areas. Breakfast was amazing!! A good room with bath and super comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy parking below the Wanda Plaza, around 3 to the Yalu river with plenty of shared bikes around too.

Holiday Inn Dalian hotspring is very nice. The staff is very helpful, specially Derek. He made our stay very comfortable and helped us with every detail. We booked a villa, the room was very tidy. The hotel also provided a crib for our baby. You can have access to all the pools and the kids area is also very nice. We are planning to come back again in winter.

When taking the kids out to play, they need a hotel with a bathtub and swimming pool. There are not many choices in Jinzhou. After doing some research, I saw that Sheraton is a hotel of the Marriott Group. I was not disappointed. Li Yue at the front desk made thoughtful arrangements and asked us to ask any questions at any time. She contacted the front desk and sent a disposable bathtub cover to meet our needs as much as possible. The room is spacious and the bathroom is beautiful. The higher the floor, the better the view. I recommend the executive high floor.

I traveled with my kids and went from Shanghai to Dalian for two days. From Dalian, we went to Shenyang. We chose the Yatai Hotel, which is next to the Dadong Grocery Store and the Farmers' Market. It’s only a few hundred meters to walk to the Forbidden City, the Marshal’s Mansion, and Zhongjie Street, which is super convenient! ! ! The lady at the front desk who checked me in was very friendly and efficient. She upgraded me to a parent-child room for free and gave me a small gift. I was very satisfied and I have to give good reviews!

We stayed at this excellent hotel for three nights during our first visit to Dalian in May. The room was very clean and had some very useful amenities such as a refrigerator, clothes washer and a bidet toilet. It was very convenient to wash our clothes and save money. The staff was very helpful and kind. Mr. Chen helped me find an excellent Thai massage spa (Tai Baba) nearby and helped us get taxis. We are especially grateful to the manager Mr. Leon. He left his busy post at the front desk and walked with me several blocks to get medicine for my wife who was briefly ill. We opted for the Chinese breakfast all three days and it was very good. However, the western food selection was limited. That was not a problem for us because the Chinese food was delicious. We are from the USA. Mr. Leon recommended an excellent Japanese restaurant (Konoha or Jiuye) with a huge menu selection in the same building. We ate there twice and there was a waitress who spoke fluent Japanese. There are many Japanese restaurants in close walking distance to the hotel. Also, the hotel is located near a shopping mall with a huge food court on the top floor. We recommend Chinese and foreigners to stay at the Shan Shui S Hotel when visiting Dalian. It made our trip to the beautiful, friendly city of Dalian memorable.

Hotel is located on Youhao Rd. It's along one of the roads away from the railway station. At night, it can be noisy but not too bad. Best feature of the room: automatic curtains. It gets bright early in Dalian. The free breakfast was very good. Wide spread from local foods to western cereals/yoghurt and breads and a buffet selection of cooked food. Lobby is on 16th floor so u have to take a lift up.

I booked this hotel because of the Jianguo brand. It's an old hotel. The check-in, check-out and room staff are very warm and considerate. The room is very spacious, and the window can directly see the neighboring country on the other side. The scenery is great! The overall hygiene is very good. The only drawback is that there are some obvious blood stains on the bath towels, and there are some stains on the sheets, but it can be seen that they have been washed. If these details can be avoided, this hotel is perfect!

A very surprising hotel and B&B, a great experience. The price is friendly to the people, the whole house is very smart, the location is easy to find, the transportation is very convenient, there is a parking lot, the front desk service steward and the room lady are very nice, any problems can be solved in time, the type of hotel is my favorite One of the types. Wellness and feel good oasis in Shenyang We combined it with a night in the hotel. Underground parking. The big building is the spa. It’s not easy to miss. The check-in is not in the big Spa Building. Overnighters have to go to the building next door, following the „check-in signs“. There they inform you that: - The day of check in you can use the Spa area until 10 pm. - Day of checkout a delicious breakfast with much variety of cooked and fresh dishes, fruits, juices and coffee and sweets is served from 7-10am. - If you check out before 10 am you can use the Spa area again until 6pm that day. - To enter the Spa area you need to go to the big building. You get a key you take inside which is for free. - You will be led into gender separated changing areas. - You get a free towel, lounge shirt and shirt pants to change in and sign for it with your key. There is staff to show you how. - Your key shows your number and area in which your individual locker is located in. There is staff to show you how. - Inside you first pass a gender separated area. Here you can be naked. - Then you can leave that area and join the gender mixed area. - It has 4 levels with indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. - Level 1 has outdoor pools, indoor pools, whirlpools, children’s water park and access to the wave park, which opens 4x a day for half an hour. - Level 2 is more quiet with healthier whirlpool options. - Level 3 has sauna houses for free open until 10pm, a movie theatre, KTV, food area and a children play area all open until 9:30pm. - Level 4 is for private treatments. In winter the outdoor waterpark/slides „the wave“ and terrace pools are closed due to the cold. We were surprised of how relaxing the stay at the Spa was. There is many people but the Spa building is amazingly huge and has many different areas to lay down and corners in which it was very peaceful. Our hotel room „Room Queensize-Bed“ was lovely and the staff very attentive. We ordered ice-cubes, extra water and had pizza delivered to the hotel. All in all, a wonderful experience, which we will repeat.
