This hotel in Shanghai truly made my trip! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt completely at ease. The concierge, a really great guy, saw me struggling with two large suitcases and immediately offered to help. He was quick and efficient, guiding me all the way to the front desk and even giving a detailed introduction to the hotel facilities and nearby attractions. He was as welcoming as an old friend. After checking in, I was even more surprised by the room—it was impeccably clean and tidy. The bedding was spotless white, and the bathroom had a well-designed wet/dry separation, with no water stains or strange smells. It felt so comfortable and reassuring to stay there. The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a few minutes' walk to Nanjing Road East, making shopping, dining, and exploring incredibly convenient. The robot delivery service was the most interesting part; shortly after ordering, I received a cute voice notification. The robot navigated precisely, and the pick-up process was simple and hygienic—both novel and practical, offering a full dose of tech-savvy fun. My entire stay was excellent. The staff, whether encountered in the hallway or when asking questions, always responded enthusiastically. The service was attentive without being intrusive. The room was clean, the location was superb, the service was thoughtful, and the facilities were modern.

The room was great! Initially, there was a strange smell, and when I reported it to the staff, they promptly moved us to a new room the very next day. Their attitude was super friendly! Every time we entered, someone greeted us warmly, and the front desk ladies were also very enthusiastic and responsible. The hotel's location is excellent and very convenient, right across from Yu Garden, just a few minutes' walk away. They even have robots to deliver food ordered through takeout, which is a nice touch. On the day we checked out, the hotel security guard helped us with our luggage, which I really appreciated. The overall experience was fantastic and lived up to my expectations for Shanghai. Thank you! 😊 First round of minibar: The orange soda was delicious, I loved it. Travel photography: The photos turned out great, it's a worthwhile experience to try.

The hotel's reservation department provided truly terrible service! Because my child had an exam, I called the reservation department in advance to request a quieter room and paid for an upgrade. The lady from reservations told me over the phone that they would arrange a corner room near the elevator, but she didn't mention it was a connecting room. After checking in, we constantly smelled smoke, and the door offered no soundproofing whatsoever. Besides being near the guest elevator, it was even closer to the service elevator lobby, so there was constant cleaning noise during the day (the cleaning staff were great, very friendly and hardworking, no issues with them). The window handle in the room was broken – what was the point of upgrading if it's no different from the non-upgraded room type with a sealed window?!

2nd time stay at this hotel and as always, it has clean & spacious room, just in the middle of Nanjing Lu Pedestrian Street so many shops, eatery & malls just outside the hotel. It has free washing machine & dryer to use. Easy to find many kinds of food around the hotel, mini supermarket just beside the hotel, friendly staffs and comfortable beds. Need to note that this hotel might has some few stairs to reach some rooms, so for elderly, make sure to inform them and request rooms to reach without stairs. Overall, a good and recommended hotel to stay in Shanghai.

Very good , Don’t really speak english but can communicate via phone so it’s okay . Very happy to help all the time , very kind and very nice / polite. Mia and the rest of the staff and very helpful. They have helped me move i came , and made the stay very pleasant. I stayed in the cave room which was very nice , the cleaner came in every day even if i put do not disturb and just made the the bed and refreshed the towels. The location is nice there is lots of food - burger king , pizza hut and local foods . It’s a bit far from the city centre about a 35/45 min drive which is 9-12 pounds The cleaning was good but a dusty on the floor maybe because of the cave . Over all i loved it would definitely stay again . All staff are nice and willing to try to help or help if they can ! Never had an issue ( except my parcel which they tried ) other than that AMAZING! The laundry service is also AMAZING .

When I checked in, I asked for a higher floor, and the front desk upgraded my room to the top floor without hesitation, which was great! 👍 I was pleasantly surprised to find that the room had a view of the Huangpu River after I checked in. The room also had a huge bathtub and was very spacious. I have two suggestions: the air conditioning wasn't very effective, and the duvet was a bit thin. Also, the outlet near the sink was broken, so I couldn't use the hairdryer there and had to plug it in by the TV instead.

The hotel’s location is excellent, with plenty of food options and restaurants nearby. Shopping is very convenient, and it’s within walking distance of the Bund and East Nanjing Road. The room was clean, nice pillows, comfortable bed and the staff were incredibly accommodating. We were even given a complimentary room upgrade. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a quick trip to Shanghai, and we’ve found our go-to place to stay whenever we return—whether for a weekend or a longer visit. Thank you!

My nth time in Shanghai, and this time I really wanted a river-view room, so I chose the Kempinski, and it was a great experience! Waking up and opening the curtains to see the Huangpu River truly made this northerner very happy. It's right across from the Bund, next to the 'Three Piece Set' (Lujiazui skyscrapers), so the location is excellent and convenient. **Facilities**: The hotel's overall decor is decent, and the bathroom is really impressive. The shower, toilet, and sink areas are all separate and very spacious. **Service**: I was quite surprised that when I called the front desk and room service in the evening, no one answered… Also, I had to go downstairs to pick up my takeout myself, and there wasn't even a robot, which was also pretty shocking…

This hotel offers a classic Japanese hot spring experience. If you book the two-day package, you can enjoy free access to the hot springs throughout your stay. The service is very enthusiastic, and they even offer complimentary transfers to Pudong Airport and Disneyland. The hot spring facilities are numerous and beautifully decorated, with the outdoor springs being particularly distinctive! Overall, it offers great value for money and a very pleasant experience!

This was my first stay at Hotel Jumbo, and it truly offered a refined urban living experience. The room layout was elegant, with soft lighting and excellent soundproofing. The bedding conformed perfectly to my body, ensuring a deep and peaceful sleep. The service was subtle yet precise, always just right. A special thank you to the server, Xiao Tian Ke Ke, whose professional and genuine service left a lasting impression.

GGuest UserMy wife and I started our 3 week honeymoon in China with a 4 night stay at Banyan Tree in Shanghai. Both the hotel and the service we received was so exceptional that we actually changed our plans to make an additional stop at the hotel on the way home. On arrival Sam recommended an upgrade to the panorama room and the view of the Bund was incredible. We entered the room with a lovely display to celebrate our recent wedding. Vicky was on hand with any queries we had via WeChat and was able to coordinate the delivery of our suitcases from Beijing. The concierge Michael actually made payment for our cases on our behalf as we hadn't reached the hotel yet which was really appreciated! Other highlights were the breakfast and the attentiveness of the door staff.

Hhxy065I saw a lot of negative reviews, but honestly, I think staying inside the park is super convenient. Yes, it's a bit pricey, and the room rate might not perfectly align with the price, but I still think it's great! After all, how can you expect convenience and cheap prices when you're staying inside Disney? When you're on vacation, having fun is what really matters! The hotel staff were all very welcoming, and I found the breakfast delicious and to my taste! After watching the fireworks at night, there was still food available (until 11 PM). It wasn't cheap, but the food tasted really good! My sister forgot her DJI drone and had to come back to the hotel once. Since we hadn't slept well the previous two nights, we even came back for a nap at noon, then went back out to enjoy the park in the afternoon. We bought the 11-attraction Premier Access and also had early park entry (though we only managed to get in 20 minutes early because we were slow). Still, we got to ride Pirates of the Caribbean and Soaring, and with Premier Access, we even rode those two twice! We barely had to queue and managed to do 14 attractions in total for the whole day, including the two re-rides. Plus, there was a reserved area for the fireworks at night! Since we're already out here, sometimes it's worth spending a bit more to make the most of it, especially since we won't be coming here often. 😊

MM9604****The Sheshan Maoyu臻品之选 Hotel, located in the Sheshan National Tourist Resort, has been around for about 20 years. It's one of the few hotels in Shanghai that boasts both indoor and outdoor pools, as well as an artificial beach. I chose this hotel because I was visiting Happy Valley nearby. If you're a local or from the surrounding area, a one-night stay over the weekend is enough to enjoy everything. The rooms are spacious with great views from the window, and both the cleanliness and service are excellent. The breakfast selection is also very diverse. If you have more time, there are actually many other fun things to do in the vicinity, like the pool and beach, artificial lakes, and paid kayaking (tickets bought on-site). In winter, there's no kayaking due to the cold. Squirrel Kingdom is a paradise for kids, with many children playing there. Bob provided excellent service! Our room was upgraded and was very clean. This hotel is perfect for families or friends looking for a weekend getaway.

GGuest UserThis hotel, which I chose for my business trip, truly exceeded my expectations. Check-in at the front desk was swift, and I didn't have to wait long at all. They even offered a complimentary upgrade to a higher floor, mentioning it would offer a better view. The room wasn't particularly spacious, but it was spotlessly clean and free of any unpleasant odors. The bed was perfectly comfortable – neither too soft nor too hard – providing excellent rest after a tiring day of work. While breakfast wasn't luxurious, it offered warm and filling staples like congee, steamed buns, and eggs. Overall, I have no complaints and would likely choose to stay here again on my next business trip to the area.

GGuest UserAs a long-standing five-star hotel, I found it exceeded my expectations! My impression of older five-star hotels is usually that they have great views but outdated rooms. However, the Grand Hyatt's rooms are very modern, with integrated control panels on both sides of the bed. The rooms are incredibly spacious, and most importantly, they don't feel dirty despite their age; in fact, they feel exceptionally clean, especially the towels, which were very clean and new. The toiletries were my favorite, BALMAIN! The best part, though, was the excellent service. I was traveling with two children, and the friendly front desk lady generously gave me two complimentary kids' breakfasts, and you know how top-notch the Hyatt's breakfast is! The breakfast view is superb, directly facing the Oriental Pearl TV Tower – who could resist a breakfast like that? Coincidentally, it snowed while I was there, and I could even watch the snowflakes from my room, which was fantastic!

GGuest UserI had a great experience! I was looking for a hotel in Shanghai for my trip and after checking out a lot of places, I finally settled on this one. From the moment I walked in, I knew I'd made the right choice. The lobby immediately struck me as very high-end. The staff there were also incredibly welcoming and helpful – all young and enthusiastic. They offered me tea, proactively booked the shuttle for me, and even helped with my luggage. All these little things made me feel like this hotel was excellent. The breakfast the next day also pleasantly surprised me. To get this level of service and a fancy breakfast at this price point, I truly feel it's great value for money. The spread was really rich and varied!

MM2bkpev41****My stay at Guyiju Hotel far exceeded my expectations. From arrival to checkout, every detail demonstrated professional and attentive service, and I can't wait to share my satisfaction. Upon arrival, the front desk staff proactively helped with our luggage, warmly guiding us to the reception. We didn't have to lift a finger, which immediately eased our travel fatigue. The front desk service was particularly impressive; the staff were not only friendly but also incredibly efficient. The check-in process—verifying information, entering it into the system, and explaining hotel policies—took less than 5 minutes. When they learned it was our first time in the city, they even pulled out a printed guide to local attractions, detailing must-see spots and local specialty restaurants. They even thoughtfully marked peak travel times to avoid and recommended transportation methods. Their thoughtfulness instantly made us even more excited for our upcoming itinerary. Stepping into the room, my first impression was ”clean and comfortable.” The room was more spacious than I expected, with a well-planned layout that didn't feel cramped at all. The bedding was neatly made, soft, and skin-friendly, without any odd smells. Even the pillow height was just right. I fell into a deep sleep shortly after lying down, which was incredibly important after our long journey. The room facilities were also comprehensive: the air conditioning cooled and heated quickly with very little noise, the TV had clear picture quality and many channels, and there were thoughtful touches like bottled water and charging outlets, meeting all our daily needs. The bathroom was spotless—the floor and counter were immaculate, and the mirror was sparkling clean without any water stains. The toiletries were custom-branded by the hotel, with a fresh, elegant scent and rich lather, leaving my skin feeling moisturized after showering. The hot water supply was stable, with good water pressure, and the temperature could be precisely adjusted. A comfortable hot shower after a day of sightseeing washed away all the fatigue. Plus, the bathroom also provided disposable toiletries, showing great attention to detail. The hotel's breakfast was another delightful surprise. The breakfast restaurant was clean and bright, and all utensils were strictly disinfected, making us feel at ease. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich, offering a full range of Chinese and Western dishes. Chinese options included congee, buns, fried dough sticks, eggs, and various small dishes—the congee was soft and sweet, and the buns had fresh, juicy fillings. Western options like bread, milk, and coffee were also plentiful, and the coffee had a rich flavor. The staff promptly refilled food items to ensure every guest enjoyed fresh meals, and they actively inquired about our needs during dining, providing exceptional service. Furthermore, the hotel's location is excellent, just 3.1 kilometers from the subway, making it convenient to reach various attractions and shopping areas. There are also supermarkets, convenience stores, and restaurants nearby, so daily shopping and dining are hassle-free. The surrounding environment is quiet, completely free from external noise, offering a truly pleasant stay. Overall, my experience at Guyiju Hotel was perfect. The service, room, dining, and location were all impeccable. If I visit this city again, I will undoubtedly choose this hotel and recommend it to any friends planning a trip!

GGuest UserFirst, let's talk about transportation. It's suitable for driving or taking a taxi. Of course, the hotel offers shuttle services to many places. You can check if it suits your needs. Next, let's discuss the environment. The environment is pretty good. This is my second stay with this brand. My previous experience in Xi'an was also very pleasant, which is why I chose it again this time. The overall decor style is similar, a low-key luxury, quite grand. Both the lobby and rooms are very clean. The restaurant is on the first floor, also quite spacious, with plenty of seating for breakfast, dinner, and late-night snacks. There's a children's play area right outside the restaurant, perfect for kids. The gym and laundry room are also on the first floor and are quite quiet. Now, about the service. The main reason I chose this hotel is its excellent service, and this one didn't disappoint. Before my arrival, the hotel called me a day in advance to ask if I needed a shuttle to Pudong Airport. Since I arrived at Hongqiao, I didn't book one. I spent some time in the city first, then planned to head back to the hotel in the evening and bought some snacks on Dingdong Maicai (a grocery delivery app). The front desk even helped me sign for and store them. Upon arrival, the service and reception were excellent, very attentive and responsible. The front desk also offered warm mineral water, which is great for those who prefer warm drinks, eliminating the need to boil water. The mini-fridge in the room had complimentary snacks (though I'm not sure if this is only for first-time guests on the first day, as they weren't replenished after I ate them on the first day). The family room also had comprehensive children's amenities. In the evening, you can **soak your feet with a medicinal sachet and a plastic basin, you just need to fill it with water yourself. This is perfect for anyone who's been walking all day at Disneyland. For late-night snacks, they offer wontons, rice noodles, and regular noodles, all pre-cooked, so you can just grab them from the restaurant and eat. When checking out, they even gave me some White Rabbit candy. Finally, a few suggestions: 1. I suggest adding an additional Disney shuttle service departing at 7 AM. Disneyland security starts at 8 AM, and there are often long queues. The current two shuttle times are either too early for early park entry (but these guests miss the hotel's buffet breakfast), or too late. Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, so a 7 AM shuttle would allow guests to have a hot meal. If you take the later shuttle, by the time you get there, walk to the entrance, and queue up, all the rides will already have long lines. 2. It would be helpful to include more reminders, such as suggesting guests bring hand warmers or seat cushions for watching the fireworks at Disney in winter, as it gets very cold. For those who don't want to eat at Disney, they can bring their own snacks (Dingdong Maicai can deliver to the hotel here). Before I arrived, I called the hotel, but the front desk staff wasn't aware of any apps for grocery delivery. Since many guests at our hotel definitely visit Disney, unlike other hotels, it would be beneficial to provide more attention and reminders in this area.
