LOVE THIS HOTEL! I was here with my aunt for 10 nights, with breakfast. Throughout our stay, we were well taken care of. Cleanliness lived up to expectations, and housekeeping was consistent, prompt and predictable. Whenever we had any request, our 31st floor Da Jie promptly and generously provided. Our housekeeping Da Jie even placed an extra box of tissues when she noticed my own tissue packet on the table. (So thoughtful!) Another detail that impressed me were how generous they were with the clothes hangers, and wall hooks! Sometimes, i find it hard to find a place to hang my towel and etc, but there were additional wall hooks in random places which turned out to be so useful; I think the Eton staff really thought it through for their guests. (See picture: one on toilet, one outside toilet, there was even a hook under the main door handle) Throughout our stay, breakfast options were also well varied. I really appreciated how the kitchen continued to replenish their dishes even near the end of the buffet breakfast period. Location is a plus point too. The hotel is easy to find for DiDi drivers, and if you’re travelling out, the Pudong Ave station is right outside the main entrance. With lines 4 and 14, you’ll find that you are well connected whether it be to tourists spots or otherwise. We also found a few eateries and convenience shops around, so buying water and settling dinner was easy-peasy. All in all, I get the feeling that this hotel is warm, hospitable and generous. I’m truly heartened by the experience here and I’ll be recommending Eton for sure.

The hotel facilities are complete and the hygiene is excellent. I booked a river view room, and the floor-to-ceiling windows in both the room and bathroom offered an unobstructed view of the North Bund, including all its attractions. Coincidentally, a navy ship was visiting Shanghai and open for tours, but I couldn't get a reservation. Still, seeing it from afar through the window was quite gratifying. The hotel's exterior windows were spotless, which was perfect for enjoying the views, allowing me to appreciate the beauty of Shanghai both day and night. The staff were all very polite, always ready to answer questions and fulfill requests. Before check-in, they called to confirm my itinerary and ask about any special requirements. All the services were excellent, making for a very satisfying and pleasant stay.

Hotel is situated within a humble neighbourhood, location is good as it is very near Pudong International Airport. As opposed to the humble exterior, interior and the room is tastefully decorated. Zen looking, high ceiling and super king size bed. Free airport pick up and transfer. Free laundry available. Nice!

The hotel's location is excellent. We stayed here for three nights with our child. The room was clean and tidy, with a beautiful view of the Oriental Pearl Tower and the 'three-piece set' of skyscrapers. The staff were very enthusiastic and helpful, assisting us with luggage storage and retrieval. They even have robots for room service, which our child loved! Sitting by the window to watch the night view was also beautiful. Overall, we're very satisfied and would highly recommend it. We'll definitely stay here again! 👌🏻

This hotel is super convenient, right on Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. The room was very clean and well-equipped. I especially liked that the hairdryer was powerful! The TV also had screen mirroring, and all the drinks in the mini-fridge were complimentary, which was a nice touch. They even offered kids' slippers and toothbrushes when they saw we had a child with us. The hotel service was excellent; the front desk staff were very accommodating and all the employees were really enthusiastic. Breakfast was decent, good value for money, and had a wide variety of options. The late-night noodle stand, open until 10 pm, was a definite highlight. Highly recommend!

Metro Stations: Hotel is suituated betweeen 2 metro stations which is convenient to walk throught the Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. Metro to Nanjing East Road Station 南京东路地铁站- Exit 1 turn right, about 490 meter, Use exit 2 for lift Metro to People's Square Station 人民广场地铁站 Exit 19, 490 meter, can enter via Most station will not have escalator going downwards, thus it is best to check which exit has the going downwards escalator or lift to avoid carrying lugguage down the stairs. Hotel: Lobby is on level 4. You will need to take steps down and a small slope to wheel your luggage from level 4 luft to reception area. Rooms are on level 4 & 5 (via lift). Rooms on level 4 are at 3 areas: 1- just outside level 4 lift landing= excellent choice. but do not choose room facing inwards which may not have windows 2-behind reception area, will have to take a fleet of steps to go up. Some rooms may have to take 2 sets of steps to reach your room. nonetheless, the hotel will help you move your luggages. 3- level 5, need to take another lift infront of the reception area. Send in your request if you have seniors travellers or need easy access. We stayed for 3 night. On the first night, the room alloacted to us was at level 4 at the back of the reception counter, have to climb 2 fleets of steps. The leakage from the bathroom and requested room to be changed. They are kind to upgarde my room to a room just outside the level 4 lift and facing the street. The room come with a beautiful reading chair. However the legs were facing out and easily knock onto them. I was unfortyuanatley and had my toes knocked onto them. Thus.. be careful when you are allocated a room with this beutiful chair.

This place is really good! First off, the location is super close to Hongqiao transportation hub, easily within walking distance. Plus, the room was spotless and a duplex, which was a pleasant surprise with two beds spread across two levels. Definitely my first choice for business trips.

Great location, and the facilities are decent. It's super convenient to get to the North Bund, and Raffles City is right across the street for easy dining options. For taxis, you'll need to go to the intersection nearby for pick-up/drop-off as you can't park directly at the main entrance. This was my first time in all my years using Trip.com that I had to show the order number to the front desk when checking in. Usually, all hotels just need your ID or the name on the reservation. It was quite a novel experience. Even overseas, when there's a language barrier, showing the confirmation letter is usually fine, but not here – you absolutely need the order number…

Quite a distance away from Nanjing street. Takes about 15-20mins walk even though its only 500m+ away. The hotel is at quiet area, good if u prefer somewhere that is not noisy and you will take didi most of the time. But may not be ideal for solo female travellers. Room is quite good-conditioner can ownself adjust (good because some hotels in China are centralised air-conditioning). Cleanliness and condition acceptable because noted that most of hotels in shanghai are old buildings, but not sure why there was always water leaking out under the toilet sink area which is a minus point for me-floor was wet all the time. And got one day the staff came in clean up my room even though I put ‘do not disturb’. I noticed it when my towel was changed and my dustbin was empty even though my bed still remained in same condition. Will consider other hotel to stay in if I ever go Shanghai again. Reception staffs generally are nice (however was told to only leave 5 star reviews when they passed me little gift before I leave. I rejected the gift and said I will not do so then she said I can keep the gift but not to put reviews if is not 5 stars lolll) But this will be my honest review for this hotel for everyone to take note.

GGuest UserEverything about this hotel was great! The staff were very patient and helpful when I called with questions before checking in. The front desk was also very welcoming and efficient during check-in. Whenever I had questions during my stay, the hotel staff responded and helped me right away. Even the breakfast at the restaurant was delicious (I personally loved it!). The housekeeping staff kept the room very clean, and anything I needed was delivered promptly. The location is also super convenient for getting around. It completely exceeded my expectations! I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

GGuest UserHad an amazing stay at Banyan Tree Shanghai On The Bund ✨ From the moment we arrived, everything was beyond expectations. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, which made the experience even more special. The room itself was absolutely spacious, spotless, and offering a breathtaking view of the Pearl Tower 🌆 What truly stood out was the exceptional VIP-level service. A Guest Service Ambassador personally took care of us, providing thoughtful recommendations and paying attention to every detail. We were also delighted to receive a cake and local treats as a warm welcome—such a lovely touch 💖 Special thanks to Lumia Zhong for the outstanding care and hospitality. She made our stay truly memorable 🙏 Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shanghai—the rooms, the view, and the service are simply top-notch!

AAnonymous UserThe driver was very friendly and kind, and the shuttle bus stop was very close. The hotel itself was pretty standard. I stayed here for a layover, and it's about 20 minutes from the airport, which is quite close. The room window felt a bit thin, despite being double-glazed. The horizontal sliding window didn't seal very well, but luckily it's not cold this season.

HHaishuiheideThis is a hotel we've stayed at many times. Visiting during the off-season is always a good idea. The hotel service is truly outstanding; every staff member greets you, and every aspect is perfectly arranged. This time, there was a minor hiccup where the front desk didn't register my child in the system, preventing us from buying a half-day ticket. However, the hotel sent a business car to pick us up and drop us off. Their service truly matches the price. We'll definitely keep staying here every time we visit.

GGuest UserThis hotel, about an hour from the city center, is the perfect family-friendly getaway. It boasts a beach, a kids' club, a petting zoo, and even a cat cafe and planetarium, making it an all-in-one destination that caters to all weekend holiday needs for families in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai regions. The hotel is nestled by Sheshan Yuehu Lake, close to Sheshan National Forest Park, Happy Valley, and Maya Water Park. Bob, a staff member, provided a helpful introduction to the hotel's activities and a map. The hotel features both indoor and outdoor pools. The outdoor pool is particularly great for families, with pools of varying depths suitable for children of all ages. There's also an artificial beach by the lake with fine, soft sand, perfect for toddlers, and spacious enough to avoid overcrowding. Next to the beach, there are inflatable trampolines. Other recreational facilities include the Squirrel Kingdom kids' club, open from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM. The hotel offers two restaurants: a buffet on the first floor with a rich selection of dishes, and the freshly made wontons for breakfast are especially delicious. The Chinese restaurant on the fifth floor serves tasty food in an elegant setting with fantastic views. The rooms are spacious and bright, measuring 55 square meters, with large floor-to-ceiling windows and an independent walk-in closet. The rooms are also clean and well-maintained. The hotel is centrally located within the resort area.

__WeChat299757****I booked the Eastern Suburb Atour Hotel for a business trip as my company is right next to it. It's supposedly under the Hyatt brand, and indeed, major brands prove to be trustworthy. The room was spacious and roomy. When I checked in, I asked the front desk about nearby entertainment, and they recommended 'One Foot Garden' next door, which had a lovely, chic vibe. They have a 24-hour shuttle service; you just need to book it a day in advance, which is very convenient. Because I had meetings, the hotel even extended my check-out to 3 PM, which was very thoughtful.

GGuest UserComing to Shanghai Disney, I looked at many hotels and finally chose this one. The hotel service made us feel right at home, with incredible attention to detail. Disney Shuttle Service: Punctual. When we returned in the evening, there was hot tea and warm cookies. Before 11 PM, the hotel even provided a late-night snack. It was truly thoughtful. Scheduled pick-up/drop-off at Zhoupu Station (Line 18): Very convenient for guests. The hotel breakfast was also abundant, a mix of Western and Chinese options. There were quite a few international guests. Service: Warm and considerate. If I had to find a fault, it would be that the facilities aren't as modern as chain hotels, but it's more than sufficient for a vacation.

MM581420****The hotel's location in town is superb, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. Though it's considered suburban, it's situated in a bustling commercial area, yet the streets are quiet at night, ensuring a great night's sleep in the hotel room. There are plenty of authentic restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making daily life incredibly easy – full marks for convenience! From the moment we stepped out of the car and entered the lobby, staff members approached us with a smile, offering to help with our luggage. The front desk staff were very efficient, and during check-in, they thoughtfully explained the hotel's facilities and provided a guide to local attractions. They even kindly reminded us about the toiletries and slippers, which was a really warm and thoughtful touch! Opening the room door was a pleasant surprise! It had Bluetooth music, smart lighting controls, and the room was even more spacious and brighter than it appeared in the pictures. The floor-to-ceiling window offered an unbeatable view. The mattress was just right, not too soft and not too hard, and there were two pillow options (soft and firm) to choose from. The bathroom was a wet/dry separation, with strong and stable water pressure – a hot shower instantly washed away all fatigue. The hotel's breakfast offered a rich variety, from Chinese noodles and dim sum to Western breads and salads. I tried a little bit of everything, and it all tasted great. The coffee was freshly ground and had a rich flavor – very impressive! Overall, the hotel is excellent, and the price isn't expensive. The rooms are also clean. From various perspectives, the experience was truly recommendable due to its incredibly high value for money. For travelers on a budget like us, it's rare to find an economy hotel with such thoughtful service, but this hotel delivers. It will definitely be our first choice for our next Disney trip.
