"The hotel is conveniently connected to one of the exits of Nagoya Station, which was a huge plus for us on both sunny and rainy days—especially since it rained during part of our stay! I stayed at this hotel twice: once when I first arrived in Nagoya, and again after returning from a 2D1N trip outside the city before flying home. I'm so glad I chose Mitsui both times! As all the guest rooms are located above the 18th floor, the views were fantastic. From our room, we enjoyed a beautiful bird's-eye view of Nagoya City. In fact, I almost felt like I didn't need to visit the observation deck on the 51st floor of JR Central Towers to enjoy the city skyline! The service was excellent as well. The hotel kindly stored our luggage while we were away on our overnight trip. When we returned to check in for our second stay, we were pleasantly surprised to find that our luggage had already been moved to our room without us even having to ask. A big thank you to the staff for being so attentive and proactive in preparing everything before we arrived. Besides its excellent location next to Nagoya Station, there is a FamilyMart and a 7-Eleven directly opposite the hotel. There's also a Mister Donut across the road, where we grabbed breakfast and snacks before heading out each day. Overall, I honestly have nothing to complain about. The location, service, and comfort all exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely stay here again when I visit Nagoya."

"Fantastic hotel! First off, the location is excellent, right in the Sakae district. Fu Rai Bo, which has amazing food, is right next door – I went there almost every night for their chicken wings during my first few nights. Secondly, the hotel is very new and the staff are incredibly welcoming."

"What a wonderful stay! Although I've visited Nagoya several times, this was my first time staying in the Sakae district. While it's not as convenient for JR access as the area around Takashimaya, I personally think Sakae offers better, more youthful, and stylish shopping than Nagoya JR Station – there's just too much to explore! The hotel itself is very international, and the lobby's design sets it apart from other hotels. It also offers excellent privacy. Check-in was quiet and orderly. The staff spoke fluent English, were quick and very friendly, providing a great comfort after a long journey. The room was thoughtfully designed with many small surprises – I won't spoil them all; you'll have to discover them for yourselves!"

"I reserved this hotel due to its location and its relatively low nightly rate (breakfast included). I had quite a good experience staying here. It’s less than a 5-minute walk from Hisayaodori Subway Station. The check-in was self-service check-in, and it was pretty easy. The room we reserved was relatively small, but clean and tidy, with enough space to open two 22” suitcases and arrange our belongings. As for everything else, we had what we needed, and I rested well. The facilities and amenities were pretty much as advertised in the Services & Amenities section. However, there’s no designated smoking area, which I missed. The interesting thing is that it has a Shampoo Bar, which allows us to try out some shampoo products. I also enjoyed the public bath. The breakfast tasted good. They offer buffet-style Japanese meals with a good selection of side dishes and drinks. One of the downsides is that the dining area is small, and at times it can be so crowded during breakfast that it’s hard to move around."

"The hotel was very conveniently located, close to the live house we were visiting that weekend. The facilities were very clean, including the bathroom, and the beds were comfortable. We slept well. The staff was efficient and helpful, and they kindly stored our luggage both before check-in and after check-out. The only downside is that the hotel is located in a very lively area of Nagoya, and it was quite noisy outside until late at night. We personally didn’t have any trouble sleeping, and there was no noise from neighboring rooms, but it’s something worth keeping in mind."

"Location a little bit off the bustling sakae area, have to walk like 10-15min to reach dondondonki, room is comfy, with good lighting, there’s a few laundry machine to use, public bath is ok I felt the water is not hot enough otherwise is well equipped."

"The hotel's location is pretty good, 1.3 km from the train station and 1.5 km from Matsuzakaya, making it convenient to get around. However, the layout of the hotel is quite baffling; the room is almost entirely taken up by the bathtub and toilet, and the soundproofing is extremely poor. The elevator is also incredibly slow, and the public bath is tiny. Avoid this place during Golden Week holidays."

"Getting to the hotel from the airport is super easy: just take the Meitetsu Line straight to Nagoya Station, and it's about a 7-8 minute walk from there. Nagoya Station is great for shopping, with department stores like Takashimaya and JR Tower, plus tons of restaurants and shopping streets. You'll find everything from hitsumabushi (grilled eel) to Komeda Coffee and Ichiran Ramen. The 7-Eleven nearby even offers tax refunds. The front desk staff were really friendly and had excellent English. On the first floor, you can help yourself to various toiletries and tea bags. The room was a bit small but perfectly fine. Breakfast included both Western options like bread and salad, and Japanese dishes. If you want your room cleaned, you need to let the front desk know in the morning. For fresh towels, just put them in the bag provided and hang it on your doorknob. The only downside was that the breakfast menu never changed."

"The hotel is great, offering a slow-paced, pastoral lifestyle. The breakfast is semi-buffet with a à la carte menu. There's only one restaurant, a mix of Japanese and Western cuisine, and the food tastes good. The coffee, however, is just average. You get a 10% discount if you pay with your mobile phone."
