This hotel is super convenient! It's right across from JR Hakodate Station, just a 3-minute walk and two crosswalks away. Plus, the tram station is only 200 meters to the left of the hotel entrance. From there, it's a quick 10-minute ride to Jujigai Station, and then a 200-meter walk up a slope to the Hakodateyama Ropeway – perfect for catching the night view, which is a must-see in Hakodate. There's even a bus stop across from the hotel with buses to Goryokaku. The rooms are spacious, and the breakfast spread is fantastic. For the price, this hotel offers incredible value for money!

Travelling via JR train from Hakodate, the location of this hotel was not ideal. Upon arriving at JR Toya station, we had to wait for a public bus with no clear indications of when it would arrive. Hailing taxi via app was also unsuccessful. After alighting from the bus, we had to walk and pull our luggages along snow pavements to reach this hotel. But it was worth it because the hotel was great. The buffet dinner and breakfast the next day was delicious with lots of variety. Imagine... having 5 types of butter for bread and 4 varieties of Hokkaido milk to choose from. Room was huge for 2 people with a small balcony. Essential amenities were available. We especially liked the robes or pyjamas (?) provided that could be wore while walking around the hotel. The hot spring was wonderful. We tried both the indoor pool at lvl 2 and outdoor pool at the top and like the outdoor pool the most. Unfortunately we were not able to see Mount Yotei. A reason to return I guess.

Amazing hotel. Close to the TV tower and the park. The train station is also not far away. It's convenient for when you have to walk with your luggage in the snow. Relaxing hot bath. Lavish breakfast with a lot of options. Outstanding service. The only complaint is that the laundry service was closed for the holidays and there is no self service laundry in the hotel. The closest one was 20 minutes away.

Booked this place based on an ad, and I seriously regret it! It's quite a walk from both the JR and subway stations, so getting around is inconvenient. Front desk staff seemed to treat us differently. White guests and locals were able to check in directly at the counter, but they insisted we use the self-service machine. We tried several times, but couldn't find our reservation information. The staff offered no help whatsoever, just watched us struggle with all our luggage without offering any porter service. It was incredibly, incredibly disappointing. This is the first time I've ever felt so angry in Japan. Also, the hotel facilities are pretty old, and the breakfast, which costs 150 per person, was truly awful! During our four-day stay, housekeeping missed cleaning our room for two days. We only realized it when we returned in the afternoon and had to call them to come. All in all, a very frustrating experience!

This hotel has a rich history, and both the environment and service are excellent. The front desk even has staff who speak Chinese, and they are very friendly. The location is fantastic, right next to Jigokudani (Hell Valley), and you can enjoy the beautiful views of Jigokudani from the hot spring baths. The outdoor bath is nestled in a hollow of the mountain, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and abundant trees – a truly special experience. We booked a stay with two meals included, and the buffet quality was good, with plenty of fresh sashimi. We stayed in a Japanese-style tatami room in the West Wing, which was very close to the large public bath. However, the room had a 'rotten egg' smell, which takes some getting used to.

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Sapporo Station, and we used the underground walkway on snowy days! The hotel has a very old European style, with oil paintings everywhere! The elevator had a fun clock-like movement. We were lucky enough to get a corner room, which was much larger than a standard room and included a dressing table and a capsule coffee machine. Bed linen was changed every two days, and complimentary mineral water, tea bags, and pajamas were replenished daily. The hot spring on the 14th floor was crowded if you went too early or after 8 PM. The hairdryer was a Refa. On the first floor, there was free coffee and ice available for self-service from afternoon to evening, as well as a microwave. There was also a convenient laundry room near the first-floor hallway!

The location is excellent, right across from the south exit. If you're familiar with the area, you can use the underground passage, which is especially convenient during heavy snowfall in Hokkaido. The room is quite small but has everything you need, and the cleanliness is good. I really enjoyed the breakfast ambiance, especially sitting by the window watching the snow fall outside—it was incredibly therapeutic.

We stayed for 2 nights, and had a pleasant stay. The hotel is 3 mins walk to Susukino and 5 mins walk to 狸小路 with many convenient stores and restaurants around. The front desk staff helped us to check in with the check in machine and the process was fast. We like the beds and room size, and the free flow of Haskap juice throughout afternoon and evening. The drawbacks are the front desk staff have limited English and didn’t understand our request to have a cleanup in our room as we were sleeping late and missed morning cleanup. The nearest airport shuttle bus stop across from hotel abest Sapporo is 4 blocks away and we have to take a taxi around 950yen with luggages to get there in the slushy snow. There are many Thai tourists in both evenings when we went back to hotel so the hotel is quite popular and crowded. Nevertheless the hotel was able to give us a high floor room away from elevators per our request and we had a quiet room which we appreciate a lot. Will definitely consider staying again given the hotel room is a good price!

This was my favorite hotel during my trip to Japan. Arriving in Hakodate amidst heavy snow, pulling my suitcase into the hotel instantly made me feel safe. The room had a very retro decor. Two things really stood out: first, the duvet was incredibly soft, like a cloud – I've never experienced anything like that in a hotel before. Second, the super luxurious breakfast, which was a major reason I booked this place. I thoroughly enjoyed a delicious seafood feast in the morning. While soaking in the hot springs, I serendipitously met someone from my hometown, and he also raved about this hotel. We even shared popsicles and ramen that evening.

GGuest UserLocated next to Hokkaido University, it's about a 9-minute taxi ride from Sapporo Station, costing around NT$300, which is well worth it. The hotel boasts facilities comparable to a five-star hotel and is very spacious. Being an adult hotel, it has a motel feel with various dreamy lighting and a wide range of amenities. Shower gel is readily available at the counter, and all products are branded. There are also various supplements. The most surprising thing is the availability of L'Occitane cream and all-you-can-drink beverages, which is very affordable. They offer Colbes soda, iced water, hot coffee, and hot cocoa. You can also sing karaoke until midnight, and there are delicious stir-fries to order. It really feels like a ********* motel, with very luxurious facilities and a hot spring bath. Personally, I think the small taxi fare is well worth it.

GGuest UserThe hot springs were great. They offer mixed bathing and rental bathtubs, but I didn't feel brave enough to try them alone. Still, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. This time, I stayed in the annex. They offer a variety of services, and although I nearly got lost between the new and main buildings, there were maps everywhere, which was great. There were also several restrooms, so I didn't have to go back to my room. Self-service soft serve ice cream, milk gelato, iced cafe latte, and matcha latte are available from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, so checking in at 3:00 PM is a great way to enjoy them. I was excited about the 24-hour all-you-can-drink katsugen and Nakashibetsu milk. The meat for dinner was delicious, but I wanted it with rice. I'm sure the order of serving is fixed, but... I wanted to eat it with meat, so I requested white rice (you could choose scallop kamameshi, chicken and mushroom kamameshi, or white rice), so I felt like I'd made a mistake. I wasn't worried about being alone, but they provided a private room, so I was able to enjoy the crab at my own pace. I stayed here because I wanted to see owls, and luckily I was able to see one. I was lucky because apparently even if you stay for multiple nights you can't see them unless the timing is right. Even though they feed the owls, I've only ever seen them sleeping at the zoo, so I was impressed to see them catching fish with their paws and eating them. One day wasn't enough. Next time I'd like to stay in the winter.

Kkishin214I had a great time. I booked a room on the top floor. Business hotels are cramped, so I stayed overnight with a friend. There was a sauna, karaoke, and a large TV. It was also well soundproofed, so I could drink and make a lot of noise. I had a great time.
