The front desk staff, a thoughtful gentleman, upgraded us to a twin-bed suite. The room was spotless with a modern decor and fully equipped with amenities like a fridge, washing machine, TV, dining table, and sofa, making it super convenient for multiple guests. The location was also very accessible.

The hotel staff were incredibly kind and provided excellent, enthusiastic service. Our room was spacious, very clean, and perfectly soundproofed, making it wonderfully quiet. The hotel is located right next to Venice Water Town, and the view from our window, whether during the day or at night, was absolutely stunning. It's also very close to Donggang Metro Station, which makes getting to all the attractions super convenient. When we were checking out, we were in a rush, and once the staff knew, they immediately helped us bring our three suitcases down to the lobby, saving us a long wait for the elevator. We're so grateful for that! We'll definitely stay at Yuehe again next time we're in Dalian.

Environment: The hotel is very close to the seaside. It is convenient to drive. The room is very clean and you can see the sea when you open the window. Service: The service is attentive and the lady at the front desk is particularly enthusiastic. The suite we stayed in was suitable for a family trip. The room was large and both the elderly and children were happy. The hotel breakfast is also good.

I found this place online, and after seeing the good reviews, I booked a three-night stay. When I arrived, the front desk upgraded my room. It was spacious, bright, clean, and hygienic, with a separate wet and dry area. All the necessary amenities were provided, and I had a distant sea view from the window. I slept really well all three nights – it was very quiet. It’s only a 5-minute walk to the subway, and you can take Line 2 directly from the airport, which is super convenient. The price was great, and I was very satisfied.

The hotel lobby is beautifully designed, creating a stunning first impression upon arrival. The front desk, concierge, room service, and dining staff all provide excellent service. The hotel's location is superb, with the sea-view rooms offering breathtaking views of Xinghaiwan Bridge. The breakfast was delicious and met the expectations of a five-star hotel.

I brought my father, who uses a wheelchair, back to Dalian. As someone who also runs a hotel, I carefully chose this place after much consideration. First, it's very close to the sea, right outside the door, which is great for elderly people, especially those with mobility issues. Second, the rooms are spacious and don't feel cramped. Third, there are accessible ramps, making it easy for wheelchairs to get around. After checking in, the even bigger surprise was the service here. Every single front desk staff member was incredibly warm, proactive, and made you feel right at home. If service could be rated out of 10, I'd definitely give it a 10. As a hotelier, the three things I prioritize most are: cleanliness – excellent. Water and electricity – the hot water pressure is great, making for a comfortable shower. Safety – absolutely no worries there. Another surprise was that I could actually sleep with just the screen window open here, something I can't do in any other hotel, including my own, or even at home (though I have bird sounds there). I need absolute quiet to sleep, and I truly slept well here. This might be the most detailed review I've ever written, because I genuinely recommend it. I wish them prosperous business and hope to see those five lovely front desk staff members again next time I visit Dalian.

The hotel is located near Xinghai Park, adjacent to the Dayi Second Hospital Station of Metro Line 1. It is very convenient to go anywhere, especially to Xinghai Park. The size of the hotel room is the same as the description. The space is large. You can see the sea and the cross-sea bridge from the side of the balcony window. At night, you can also see the flashing lights of the Ferris wheel of Xinghai Park (pictured). The waiter will ask about the cleaning time every day. The room is clean and tidy. The price is very high. It is highly recommended!

This newly opened hotel boasts excellent cleanliness and facilities. Its location is superb, right in front of the sea-spanning bridge, and there's a large, free public parking area nearby. While parking can be a bit challenging during peak mealtimes due to the abundance of restaurants in the vicinity, it's very convenient for travelers returning late, as there are plenty of spots available at the hotel. The hotel's breakfast is also great, and most importantly, it tastes delicious!

Before my trip to Dalian, I spent days looking at hotels and B&Bs, worried about cleanliness and being too far from attractions. After three days of searching, and because my child loves loft-style rooms, I finally picked this place. It was such a pleasant surprise! The elevator on the first floor was very convenient. The owner specifically gave us a sea-view room where we could watch the sunrise, and it was also close to the elevator, which was great for the kids and elderly. The room was clean and tidy, and the amenities were very comprehensive. Downstairs is Donggang and Venice, and it's easy to get to Xinghai Square and the Oceanarium by subway or a 20-something RMB taxi ride. There's even parking downstairs. It was a truly enjoyable trip, highly recommend!

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, nestled right between Zhongshan Square and Youhao Square. It's only a few hundred meters from two metro stations, and Line 2 offers convenient access to both the airport and the high-speed rail station. You can easily walk to Russian Street and Tianjin Street. From the upper floors, you get a great view of Zhongshan Square, and on a clear day, you can even see Donggang. A big shout-out to the doorman – even when it was raining and windy in Dalian, he was out there in his short-sleeved uniform, still offering excellent service without a hint of reluctance. Another thumbs up to Amy Cai, the lounge supervisor, for her warmth, dedication, and professionalism! 👍 However, as an older five-star hotel, you can sense both the stubbornness and the compromises that come with age in several areas. Breakfast is served in the café on the 6th floor, which feels quite cramped, especially during peak hours when it can get incredibly crowded. The door from the gym reception to the actual fitness area left quite an impression; if it weren't for the staff repeatedly gesturing for me to push it open, I would have thought I’d gone to the wrong place. While the gym has a good variety of equipment, it's packed in very tightly, and the overall quality is a bit lower compared to other InterContinental hotels. Nevertheless, these minor flaws don't detract from the overall experience. All things considered, it offers great value for money, and if you're looking to stay in Dalian's old town, I'd highly recommend this InterContinental.

GGuest UserThe hotel environment is lovely, and it's right by the sea. You can even borrow guitars and record players! The breakfast spread is rich and delicious. The service is excellent, especially JJ Lin at the front desk who was very enthusiastic. Cao Meng explained how to use the record player in great detail and even helped me with my luggage all the way to the car when I checked out. Really fantastic service!

SShuishuigeI stayed at this apartment for five nights in Dalian and was unexpectedly satisfied. It's incredibly convenient for airport transfers, with direct access via Metro Line 2. Located in Donggang, the sea views are stunning and within walking distance. Public transport, including buses and the metro, makes it easy to reach various attractions and commercial areas. With your room card, the fourth-floor elevator provides direct access to Kaidan Plaza, which offers a fantastic and affordable selection of dining options. There's also a Better You supermarket on the mall's basement level. Seafood stalls offer free cooking services for purchases over 80 yuan, and you get a 2% discount when paying with your Fraser Place room card. The room was clean and well-maintained, with excellent amenities, even laundry detergent, which was a very thoughtful touch. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and responded quickly. Overall, it was a perfect stay. I highly recommend Fraser Place if you're visiting Dalian.

GGuest UserPros: The hotel is very close to the beach, not a private one, but it's a convenient 10-minute walk. It's also near Discoveryland, making it easy to visit. The hotel exterior is beautiful, and the gardens are lovely. Cons: We booked this hotel for RMB 1440 per night during the May Day holiday, but the service level definitely didn't match that price point. The room decor and facilities were pretty basic, essentially just a step up from a budget hotel with the addition of a bathtub. They claimed to have children's toiletries, but we never saw any. There's no laundry room, and while the room had a small fridge, it was empty, with no complimentary drinks. The hotel's own restaurant was very mediocre. The breakfast buffet was basically on par with a slightly better budget hotel. The other à la carte restaurant was overpriced with very ordinary dishes, not to mention a 15% service charge. I honestly couldn't figure out what service that fee was for; we even had to search for a water pitcher ourselves or actively call a waiter just to get water. The hotel staff were quite disappointing. It felt like they hired a bunch of temporary workers for the May Day rush, as they seemed clueless about everything we asked. There was no detailed information in the room about the children's play area, gym operating hours, or fees; we had to inquire about everything individually. In summary, apart from the hotel's exterior and scenery, everything else was rather subpar. It felt like a glorified budget hotel, so don't set your expectations too high.

Bblue_sky_1949The hotel's location is excellent. To the right, you'll find Sun Asia Ocean World, and about a kilometer further is Heishijiao, perfect for beachcombing. To the left are Xinghai Bay and Xinghai Square, both with very clear water. We stayed in a sea-view room, and opening the window the next morning revealed a breathtaking ocean view. You can take an early morning stroll or run along the beach. The elevator system is unique; you have to select your floor outside before entering, which kids found entertaining, but adults might lose patience with. One minor flaw is that the shower only has an overhead fixture and no handheld sprayer, which wasn't ideal for children.

SShenyangjinxuanya.Come check in at Dalian's internet-famous puppy Fimia's homestay~ The B&B is located at Dalian Fisherman's Wharf, directly opposite the sea. The first floor is a breakfast restaurant + coffee bar, and the second floor is a B&B. The overall accommodation is very retro and very photogenic. The environment is super good. I stayed in a triple room for two nights and a quadruple room for one night. The price is fair and reasonable! I came before May Day so there weren't that many people. The big bed in the room faces the sea, it has a duplex structure, dry and wet separation, clean bedding, and it is pet-friendly! ! ! I brought a kitten and a puppy. My dog is very well behaved and doesn't bark. The staff will also take care of the kittens and puppies. Travel photography at the pier: I especially want to praise the travel photography! The retouching is super natural, I’m not even wearing any makeup! The photos you took of me look really good. I’ll give you five for free! Posting to Moments is especially chill Service: The breakfast is very good, and the best way to describe it is clean! The wontons are freshly made by the old man, the noodles are all hand-rolled, the shrimp paste is especially delicious, and the Italian meat sauce is not bad either! I want to praise the coffee, the Americano and latte are very pure~

LL iuxianshengAlthough the hotel isn't brand new, the facilities and cleanliness are excellent. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient during both check-in and check-out. For breakfast, we opted for the Executive Lounge on the 38th floor. While the selection wasn't vast, the dishes were refined, and the ambiance was great with fewer people around.

JjessicassBecause the competition was in the development zone, we booked a seaside hotel close to the venue. The sea view room has a panoramic view, but it's a bit sunny. The hotel is very close to Tongniuling, and there is a celebrity check-in wall where you can take pictures (if you don't want to walk, you can take a car up there). Above the hotel is a seafood restaurant, and the seafood is delicious. I thought it was very cheap on the first day, but later I went to eat in the city and found that it was still charged at the tourist price, which is not cheap in the local area. The hotel is fully intelligent, with a Xiaozhi system, but it seems that it can only open and close the curtains and turn on and off the TV. It is recommended to upgrade the system. I wanted to let Xiaozhi play some music, but it was stupid and couldn't operate it. Overall, it's not bad. The front desk lady is kind and can help solve problems. Finally, she gave us the hotel's special dried fish, thank you!

KKaytodayyI just got back from an amazing stay at Amano Hotel in Dalian, and I can’t recommend it enough! Being so close to Xinghai Beach was a game-changer—I loved starting my mornings with a stroll on the sand. The hotel itself felt really welcoming, with cozy rooms that made me feel right at home. The staff were really friendly, always ready to chat or offer tips on what to see in the area. There's usually sojourners who can speak English to help international tourists. It was the perfect way to fuel up for a day of exploring. I’m already planning my next visit!
