Hotels With Spa in Tyrol, Austria

The Alphotel Innsbruck is probably the worst hotel we've ever stayed at! But we had no choice since we were on a tour package and this was the hotel that Gate1 chose for our itinerary. We weren't the only tour members who did not have a good stay at this hotel. Our tour group had a long day and we were scheduled to arrive late so we were all pretty tired when we arrived. Unfortunately the room we were assigned to didn't even look or feel exceptionally clean and I'm surprised I didn't take photos of the room! Comparing posted photos of the rooms on TA our room looked much older and didn't even have a real chair, but only one of those small round ottomans. And that ottoman was dirty and stained, so we didn't want to sit on that! The bedspread had that ”ick” factor, so we removed it but at least the sheets were clean. Carpet looked grungy so we made sure to wear our slippers and not walk barefoot on it. Regret not taking pictures of the room now. We've stayed at hotels with older or ”tired” decor but they were at least neat and clean, but not at this hotel! Now the ”fun” part was our bathroom door. I was getting ready to take a shower and went into the bathroom, but wanted to use my own soap and toiletries, so I went out of the bathroom and my husband (who was standing in front of the bathroom, looking at the closet or something right across from the bathroom) shut the opaque glass bathroom door. I went back to the bathroom and tried to open the door and it was locked! It was one of those simple privacy type locks where there's usually a pinhole that you can usually press and it'll pop open. Unfortunately, there was no pinhole but a screw so I tried twisting the screw but the door remained locked. Husband tried but it kept turning and he didn't have any tools so he called the front desk and they sent the maintenance guy up. The maintenance guy looked at the door and tried twisting the screw with the same results and said he needed to go get his tools. He returned with his small toolbox and tried several screwdrivers, with no luck. Then he tried using a small drill to remove the screw and still couldn't get the door unlocked. Meanwhile, we were sitting on the bed and watching tv since there was nothing else we could do. I texted our friends who were also traveling in the tour group and assigned to the room right next door to let them know what was happening. And to apologize to them for the loud racket, as the maintenance guy went and got his large power drill and was basically removing the entire door knob and panel. So the guy had to destroy the whole door knob panel because the door lock screw or nut inside the panel was probably stripped and couldn't unlock or open the door; so if I was on the other side of the door I would have been stuck in the bathroom! My husband and I stayed 3 nights in a deluxe room with Mountain View’s it was super clean and very spacious. The staff couldn’t do enough for you Jonas at reception was just amazing and so so helpful 👍 We had a few drinks down at the bar and the staff there were always ready to help even though it was a busy weekend with the ski jump competition all the staff were amazing love this hotel. We didn’t have breakfast there but I’m sure it would of been good. The hotel is only like a block or two from the train station so that was another plus and to walk to down town Innsbruck was an easy stroll. Went to the ****** but it wasn’t a winner 😩😩😩 Will definitely stay there again if in Innsbruck 👍

Well located in the old town. A 10 minute walk from the main train station. Reasonably priced. Close to many restaurants and interesting sites. Luggage storage available. We did not have breakfast there. Darius, at the front desk, was superb. Very helpful, offering suggestions about hikes, bike trips and sites. He is dedicated to customers. I hope the hotel realizes his value. The room was older but adequate. The doors in the shower didn't close so there was some water on the floor. No AC but that is typical of many hotels in Austria and Germany and they provided a fan. Free eBikes were great. The paths along the river, on both sides, offered great views and enabled us to ride for hours. I would definitely stay there again.

If the dulcet tones of ”YMCA” by the Village People thumping in your room is the thing that sends you off to slumberland, then the Austria Trend Innsbruck is the place for you! We noticed the raging wedding party upon our arrival just before midnight, and asked about the noise. The person at the desk assured us we would not hear it in our room. So off we went to room 411 where the sound was loud enough that I could identify the song (”Footloose”). After complaining at the front desk, and being assured they would instruct the DJ to turn down the volume, a few additional minutes made it clear we would not be able to sleep. In the end, they moved us to room 325 on the other side of the building, where we could only barely hear the ongoing matrimonial bacchanalia. The question is, why weren't we put in that much more silent location from the start? Instead, we were forced to repack our things, trundle down to another floor, and lose (in total) 45 minutes of sleep when we had a very early start the next day. I hope the management will consider guests like us the next time there is a wedding party in their lobby and place them in a room where one is actually able to sleep.

Comfortable rooms, great service and good facilities. The bar, pool area and reception all are lovely. Just round the corner to the old town and shopping, restaurants very close by. You can walk to the funicular station for Nordkette. I was very impressed with the excellent service at reception and the bar

We booked a Panorama Deluxe room for 3 nights, checking in on Sept. 20th. The property is centrally located along the train station and features a parking directly connected by elevator. The “piece de resistance” of this tall building is clearly its stunning view on the town and surrounding mountains. We were lodged in room 1104 on the 11.th floor which is the top floor featuring rooms, as the 12th accommodates the lounge/restaurant where breakfast is also served. Curiously, the hotel doesn’t have a lobby in a traditional sense: the concierge & cashier counter can be found in a small separate office on the basement and the elevators to the rooms are located in a small hall, across a glass door, which opens directly on Brunecker Street. Access security to the floors being managed by room key-card, you can enter/exit the property and the parking with no contact to any staff at all. Our room was a corner one, rather large, beautifully architected and nicely furnished in a contemporary metropolitan style. From virtually any point of the room (bathroom included) it was possible to spot some additional detail of the stunning panorama. The room was comfortable and quiet (in spite of the near busy train station), breakfast was good and we definitively had a very good time here in Innsbruck.

We originally had our main hotel stay booked in Hintertux. We were paying a lot for the hotel and after considering our long journey from Australia, we figured it may make sense to stay close to the airport at Innsbruck for our first day to get some sleep and continue our journey to Hintertux the next morning. We saved quite a bit of money making this decision and made a great choice! We walked to Penz West from the airport with four suitcases and four back packs. It was five minutes on foot and that was in thick snow! The room was way beyond our expectations for a hotel so close to the airport. It was very spacious, beautifully decorated and included breakfast that was simply magnificent. The hotel also had a wellness area including sauna, steam room, cold plunge shower and a gym. The price was extremely reasonable given all it had to offer us. The staff were very helpful and gave us some local tips about the town of Innsbruck (beautiful Christmas markets) and some mountain trips. We were too tired to do the mountain trips but enjoyed Innsbruck. We could easily have spent more time in this beautiful place and would not hesitate to book Penz West again if we are travelling this route. Mr 11 and 12 year old loved this place!

Imagine you spend 1300€ for 2 nights at a 4-star hotel, expecting to have a romantic dinner and relax. But instead you end up crying in your room while your husband is in pain from food poisoning because he ate a sandwich at the sauna restaurant 4 hours before. And the next morning the hotel manager tells you that you have no proof and it is probably your own fault. This is what happened to us My husband and I came to the AquaDome Therme hotel, expecting to celebrate our marriage anniversary and relax.

On the first day my husband ate a sandwich at the restaurant in the SaunaWelt area. 4 hours later he started to have really bad food poisoning symptoms: vomiting, diarrhoea, fever, stomachache, weakness. 

Though the receptionists and waiters were very responsive and assisted us well that night, we could not enjoy the facilities and our whole anniversary was ruined. The next day my husband was still feeling weak and couldn’t eat properly.

When my husband complained to the manager Sascha Rössel the next day, he told us that we have no proof that it happened because of the sandwich. He also implied that we were being dishonest. When I made a comment in English and asked if he can speak it so that I can also follow the conversation, he replied that his vocabulary is not sufficient and continued in German. In the end, he unwillingly removed the sandwich from our bill, but only the sandwich. I assume we were not taken seriously because of our relatively young age and the calm tone of speaking. 
 Though we had a good impression of the facilities (thermal pools, saunas and the room service), the manager’s insensitivity and indifference could not let us enjoy the stay. 
It was not the kind of service we expected from a 4-star hotel. And it was the worst anniversary we ever had. Also the most expensive. I wish we spent the money on literally anything else.

We left the hotel more stressed and disappointed than we were before we arrived.

We are never going to stay there again. And I do not recommend it to anyone.

Good stay, were there for a game in the Tivoli Stadion and for that it was perfect as it is only over the street near the stadion

Because the hotel is located on the pedestrian street, I accidentally drove my car 🚗into it and was chased by a police car 🚓 and fined 25 euros. The parking lot 🅿️ is located in the basement of the commercial center opposite the hotel. I asked twice before I found it. In addition to the mall, you can see the Anna Column. The hotel is diagonally opposite, so you need to observe carefully 👀 The breakfast is very good 👍 The room facilities meet the travel needs, the location is particularly good, there are attractions and shopping places around, there are various restaurants and bars on the street at night, and there are music lovers playing and singing in the afternoon 🎤, if you like, you can give them a coin or any fee you think is appropriate

We had even to the Innsbruck hotel 3 years ago when major works were being carried out at the hotel .After recently going back to the hotel I have found it has become better .Our room was perfect breakfast was perfect and the staff very helpful nothing was to much for them .The bar teams were very good and would always serve bar snacks.The reception team were brilliant.They gave us advice ro the places we might like to visit.I will be recommending to all my friends and family .Summery. Very high quality at an affordable price

We've stayed in Seefeld for many years but this was the first time staying in this hotel, although we have used the pool facilities on previous stays. We arrived by train which is a 5 min walk from the hotel, but they insisted on sending a car to collect us and help with our luggage. This was above and beyond great customer service!! The welcome we received from the staff on reception was exceptional. It was apparent that they wanted to make every effort to ensure we had a good stay. Welcome drink was offered on arrival. We booked half board and the food was wonderful every night. Good choice for mains and drinks included which was a real bonus. The free afternoon cake was delicious (pay for drinks) and was enough to keep you going until dinner time. Breakfast was great too with all the usual offerings in an Austrian hotel. We had the same table everyday for breakfast and dinner and the waitress who was on every morning and evening for the whole week we stayed, was very pleasant and attentive. She looked after us really well. We used the whirlpool everyday and the new quiet lounge in the pool area was lovely to chill out in. The hotel is perfectly situated in the middle of the town. Overall this hotel offers great value for money. Can't recommend it enough. We've booked to come back in summer 2024. More

My son was not well. N the receptionists did all they can to call us doctors . My son is good now. Thank God The reception. Are Just simply amazing. We stayed from 19 to 20 May. I m still here but I can’t wait write a good review Because my son was not well. He can’t do the 5 courses dinner. I went down to grab a quick dinner. I told the manger n waitress. They are so kind. N allowed me to bring bread n soup up. I ended up with good toasted bread. They offered. How nice of them. Now back to hotel itself. The tea break was lovely. The dinner wonderful I had my own dinner. My hubby n I took turn to eat as our son not well. But really nice food n service. We are 100% coming back here again Oh the pool. The indoor n outdoor. It’s wonderful. My son enjoyed himself Welcome drinks offered. Hotel rooms old style but the toilets n many things are obviously renovated Shower is great bed is great There’s nothing I don’t like I travel a fair bit around Europe. We have been guests again after many years and have not been disappointed. There is a beautiful new spa area, still there is the dreamy outdoor pool - the afternoon swimming in the dams I will miss very much. The suite was very modern and yet adapted to the ”Austrian” environment. The decorations were created by Mrs. Pfurtscheller personally, an absolute eye highlight to Sylvester. Our service (Karl-Heinz, Olivia, Kostas and Jürgen from the bar) was mega nice and premature. The food offered more than the heart does. The midnight second sylvester menu, as well as the great firework was TOP - all in all a very nice holiday. The only small criticism point, at coffee time, was the one or other guest in the bathroom in the restaurant or bar area. I felt not so suitable for a 5* hotel.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It has a great backdrop with mountain view and an open field view in its front yard, separating it from the crowds of busy hotel in the centre. The train station is within sight (basically in front of you) and it is within walking distance to the city centre and the Congress centre. It has great facilities with hot sauna, mist sauna and infrared thermotherapy in the basement. The breakfast has all you want to start your day. The staff, especially Andrea and Christina, are very friendly and helpful, making the stay like home. All in all, the hotel gives a very cozy, homely, comfortable feeling. I will definitely stay there again!

Here you feel at home immediately! At the reception, at the bar, at the restaurant always friendly staff. The owners are also on site and live customer care pax excellence! The rooms are very skillful and very well equipped. The food is high and it's something for everyone. Here you'll be very happy to see me again

Short trip to the Christmas market to Innsbruck. We liked the connection of the hotel to the public transportation. All 15 minutes by bus to the center. The hotel welcomes its guests with very friendly staff, clean rooms and beautiful atmosphere. Wi-Fi and parking outside the hotel are free. Breakfast does not open wishes. Go to come back.

Good location, near the museum of Swarovski... gentle staff but not very present .. In the sense that even at breakfast it was almost never seen and therefore little interaction. The rooms were large and clean.bathroom with bathroom .beautiful furniture.bathroom varied and abundant a few brioches.There is an anxhe spa with only two saunas and an infrared but just to get off the spine. Water and towels are found there and also covered on the beds to be dressed. Eyes to covers.. some had hair /capelli .for nothing pleasant. The spa opens at 5, a little late. Prices a little above the average.

Came here for New Year and we had a fantastic time. This hotel was great, everyone was super friendly and the room had a stunning view of the mountains. Nicole and her team were so so friendly helpful and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Vlada was also great at helping us booking the best restaurants for the evening. I would throughly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Gotzens, would absolutely stay again!

Spectacular views of the Inn river valley and of the surrounding Alps from BIG panoramic windows (get an upper floor room if you can - amazing), 60 second walk from the walled old town. Very clean and modern and comfortable. Reasonably good breakfast. Downstairs parking was super-convenient. Staff very pleasant and helpful.
