Hotel that we recommend. We have come several times now. We always take advantage of the indoor swimming pool which has a thalasso system (jet, whirlpool, etc.)
The breakfast is plentiful 👍
Nice evening buffet
Family hotel with games and outdoor swimming pool, the seaside is behind the fence, no car needed!
Pleasant staff 👍
Great facilities. We went with half board. And it doesn't pay off. After knowing the prices, we would have paid less for dinner if we paid on the day.
We went on the weekend and the hotel was full. It's a large hotel and we didn't like the experience from that point of view.
The objective is to relax and have a different experience, but we ended up having to wait to enter the Turkish bath, sauna and swimming pools, which became unfeasible, as they looked like municipal swimming pools.
full of people. About the staff, the girls at the restaurant and at breakfast (who are the same) are very helpful and friendly. The same can no longer be said for the reception staff. Little willingness to help with such simple things, such as lending a mere phone charger, easily resolved by the dining room staff.
In short, it is a hotel with conditions, but I find it very confusing when it is full, something that I believe is common at the weekend.
Short break getaway!
Great location, Lovely room comfortable bed had a great night sleep . , I fully enjoyed the health spa. Swim sauna and steam room. Check out the Santana restaurant
Buffet lunch all home made food , delicious !
Overall it was a lovely stay, a peaceful retreat just what I needed from the hustle and bustle ( Lobdon ) from the city life .
Located in Areias, a place of pure serenity in the city of Santo Tirso, Quinta de Silvalde is the ideal place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of routine and connect with nature.
An ideal place to relax, spend time with your loved ones, or even work. Our Quinta has 18 charming rooms, suites, and villas that provide a comfortable stay for all of our guests. In fact, you can even bring your pet with you - our villas are pet-friendly and ideal for those who don't want to say goodbye to their four-legged buddy. At Quinta de Silvalde you can also enjoy one-of-a-kind gastronomic and wine experiences in our Vinha Restaurant or Natura Bar & Rooftop. You can also indulge in our SPA, which offers a heated indoor pool, sauna, Turkish bath, and jacuzzi, or book a relaxing massage.
The hotel is greatly located with nice view. The unusual architecture and very nice facilities including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, saunas. The presence of the parking lots and EV charging station are also very attractive. Ideal place for tranquil escape from the city noise. A lot of wineries are around.
We were rather randomly coming to Amarante, have learned to appreciate the beautiful place and insb the great hotel quickly. The location is super, with very beautiful view of the church and the historic bridge. The building from the 16. The centuries and the extensive garden etc. are fantastic.
The price-performance ratio is also true, at least in the pre-season. Spa and gym as well as the restaurant (we were not in Michelin restaurant) are beautiful or recommendable. The service and friendliness is really super.
The reception hall and the bar leave at size and ambience to wish. We would come back anyway!
The biggest issue during my stay was that the hotel took access to my ⛔️credit card⛔️. I was very disappointed and concerned about this, as I was not expecting it and did not feel comfortable with the process. Clearer information should be provided to guests in advance regarding any credit card requirements.
Another disappointment was the swimming pool. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was because of the pool, but unfortunately it was not available during my stay. I understand this may not have been the hotel's fault, but I was not informed beforehand.
There wasn't shower gel, Shampoo, face wash only they provided Hand wash. 🦧
On a positive note, the room was excellent—clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I would rate the room 5 out of 5.
The location was also good and convenient, although not the best compared to other areas.
To say the least, the pillows are too hard. Everything else was perfect... Facilities, cleanliness, breakfast, location. We will repeat without a doubt

Great
SSoheil MalekiI would have loved to have given this place 5/5 stars for everything but as soon as we arrived, the noise from outside was very loud, upon bringing it to the attention of the staff, they said they ”fixed the door” as it was a very large patio door but the sound was still as if we were camping outside. I managed to live with this but the rooms television was also boy possible to connect any outside devices and the Netflix just wouldn't launch which we were told it is what it is with the TV. The thing that annoyed me the most was the fact that you have to pay to use the swimming pool that they so elegantly advertise in their photos. As an extremely regular traveller, this was an absolute first for me and really didn't make any sense to me. Otherwise the place was clean, and looked very nice. Parking was 20 euros per night which was actually more expensive than hiring the car but I guess they charge for location.
GGuest UserWe were given a nice, clean room on an upper floor with a pretty view. The bathroom was on the right through a sliding door when you entered the room. It was spacious with a shower and a bathtub. Good breakfast! The roasted tomatoes were superb and it should be a dish available every morning at the buffet.
UUrban VoyagerWe had a wonderful stay at Eurostars Aliados in Porto. While advertised as a 5-star hotel, it feels more like a high-end 4-star, mainly because it lacks some of the extra touches of luxury and service you’d expect from a top-tier 5-star experience. That said, it still offers great value for money and an excellent stay.
One of the hotel’s strongest points is its location—right in the heart of Porto, making it easy to explore the city on foot. Despite being so central, the room was quiet and well-insulated, allowing for a great night’s sleep.
Check-in was smooth and efficient, with friendly and professional staff who made us feel welcome right away. Throughout our stay, the staff remained courteous and helpful, ensuring a pleasant experience.
Our room was spacious, stylish, and very comfortable, featuring a king-sized bed, elegant decor, and a huge shower that added a touch of indulgence. Everything was spotlessly clean, which is always a priority when choosing a hotel.
The hotel has a spa with a gym, sauna, and hammam, free for guests. While we didn’t have time to use them, they looked modern, well-maintained, and inviting, adding to the hotel’s appeal.
Overall, Eurostars Aliados delivers a stylish and comfortable stay at a reasonable price. While it may not quite reach the level of a true 5-star experience, it’s an excellent option for those looking for a high-quality hotel in the center of Porto. We would definitely stay here again!

HHenriAbsolutely incredible hotel, the staff takes great care, from the privileged location to the spa facilities, everything is wonderful.
I recommend with your eyes closed for lovers of exclusive places.
GGuest UserThe room was spotless.
The girls at reception were very welcoming most helpful.
Breakfast had a great selection for continental. Small amounts out but topped up regularly.
I loved the “squeeze your own orange juice stand”😊
Thank you.
SShizibabadiPerhaps it's because the Portuguese are more welcoming, but the service felt a step up from Spain. The room was quite large, but the bathroom had poor ventilation and an unpleasant odor. The view from the hotel entrance was fantastic, but most of the rooms had obstructed views.
AAKR87We had an amazing stay at GA Palace Hotel, truly one of the best hotels we’ve ever experienced — pure luxury from start to finish. We were kindly upgraded to a larger room with a balcony overlooking the beautiful Luís I Bridge. The room was spacious, with a huge bathroom, comfy slippers and bathrobes, and even a separate spa bag with towels and flip-flops.
The hotel is spotless, gorgeously decorated, and the service is top level. Staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent — we especially loved the little smoothie shots.
The spa area was clean and peaceful, with sauna, steam room, and indoor and outdoor pools. We only wished it stayed open later than 8pm, as it was the perfect rainy-evening escape. We’d definitely stay again when in Porto.

GGuest UserThe least you expect from a five star hotel was a good service and cleanlinless. We stayed here for 5 nights and they did not change our bedsheet even though it was written that they will change it every 3 days, no refill of water, no refill of tissues and coffee and tea we had to request it. There’s a small cockroach in the bathtub. At the front desk they don’t even greet you whenever you passby I am not being entitled that I should be greeted I just compare it to other hotel where they always smile. It’s hard to call the front desk sometimes it will take 5 minutes.
On the positive side the food in the restaurant was really good and the drinks at the bar those who are working there was really nice and attentive too. I’d like to commend also Fabrizio who always smile and who helps us with our luggage when we check in and check out.
