Nice firm comfortable mattress and soft pillow made sleeping great. In the restaurant we ordered from ala-carte menu. Met up with manager Vishal who helped us through the Indian vegetarian meal and honestly can say him and his staff prepared a superb dinner. To simply put it the whole experience of staying there was superb. Views of river Nile from outside the room was breath taking. Overall great experience. 👍

I was part of a group of 12 who’d been driven to Jinja from the south west corner of Uganda, an awful journey in a bone-shaker of a bus which took us around 17 hours! We arrived at 23.00, tired, dirty, hungry, fed up - I think even the Ritz would have struggled to get a 5* rating! I was sharing with a girl friend for the 2 nights we were there. The room was clean, comfy bed, adequate but a bit dated bathroom. But the staff were delightful & so courteous, helpful & accommodating! There was a good-sized, clean pool (plus a smaller shallow pool for kids), towels provided, a lovely covered restaurant on a terrace overlooking the Nile, very good food, both the buffet-style breakfast & the à la carte menu for dinner. The hotel is located down a leafy road & a group of us easily walked into Jinja one afternoon for a look round & a drink! Good value hotel in a very nice location!

A lovely stay here with friends. I doubt I have ever heard more birdcalls ever in a single walk. Lovely work that the Management has done with trees and shrubbery, allowing them their full expression. An eco theme for this resort would be a natural next step, with a focus on indigenous flora species. I love rooms with mountain views and I got a lovely one, Room 318. Management and customer care for the hotel is above average for Uganda. More to be done though. Food is great and shows a lot of thought. The hot water in the showers is hot hot and endless. The bath linen should be upped. Bed linen was fine. Loved this and will be happy to do this again. I must knock the hotel for not placing in the room the fine Arabica coffee that this region is known for. Who said in-room coffee must be instant?
