I stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Boston Crosstown Center for four nights during a business trip, and had a great experience. The location is convenient, with easy access to downtown and public transportation. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable—perfect for getting work done and resting after long days. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus. Overall, a reliable and comfortable stay for business travelers. I’d definitely return on future trips to Boston.

Great location and the room was very big my only complaint is that the pipes in the bathroom were very noisy and continuously making noise the entire stay. But a great location!
It was a generally good stay, with nice amenities and a spacious room. There was one issue that came up: the Trip.com website stated that the room would be on the 27th floor. However, when checking in, the reception at the Encore hotel said the highest they could give me was the 17th floor, 10 floors below what was promised, even though I showed them my reservation detailing that reserved room was on the 27th floor. A second issue to be aware: this establishment that calls itself a ”resort hotel” does not have a mini-fridge in the room. One can rent one for $40/night, which is a bit mind-boggling. The only fridge in the room is dedicated for the mini-bar. However, one cannot use that fridge because any movement of items in it would incur a charge since the sensor system, which tracks each bottle, would trigger a charge to the room. This meant I could not place my perishable item in the mini-bar fridge by shifting the alcoholic bottles to make space for my perishable items. Otherwise, this was overall a pleasant stay.

The room isn't huge, but with two 150cm beds, it's manageable for a family with kids if you don't mind snuggling. The mattress was incredibly soft; surprisingly, I usually get back pain at home but slept on this soft bed for three nights with no issues. There's a Starbucks drip coffee maker in the room, and another Starbucks next to the front desk on the second floor. Bar10, also on the second floor, serves good food. The hotel connects to two malls, which is fantastic in the cold winter as you don't have to go outside to find food. The cleanliness was impeccable, it looked like it had just been renovated. The shower had both an overhead rain shower and a handheld option; even though it was in a tub, the water pressure was excellent. Facing north, we had an unobstructed view of the river and MIT across the way. Boston truly is a beautiful city, and I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit.

When we stayed at the hotel, there were various digs near the hotel, and it felt that it was not very convenient to get around. However, there are small trains and bus stations nearby, and it is a three-minute walk from Fenway Stadium, which is very convenient.
Convenient location to airport and car rental but highly overpriced. The hotel could use an update.
Worst part of this stay was waiting 45 mins for a shuttle at midnight. Called the hotel 5 times and kept getting the same answer, “ I’ll check on the driver” and then hung up on with no answer as to when the shuttle would arrive.
When we finally got to the hotel, being judged by the front desk man about me and my husband sleeping in the same bed and being given a room with 2 queen beds.
VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE. We’ll be staying at another hotel next time, even if it’s further from airport & rental car location.

The location of the hotel is good: it is a 100-meter walk to the silver line, which is very convenient to the city center and the airport. The Avis car rental station is also nearby. There are many restaurants to choose from nearby. The hotel staff are very friendly and the service is enthusiastic. The hotel has complete facilities
, clean and comfortable.

CChelsea inThe hotel was fine, it is in a great location and has everything you need but nothing special.
The bathroom wasn’t 100% clean and the room could do with some updated finishes

KKCHHMy second stay at the hotel in a month. Really impressed with hotel services by everyone i encountered at The Newbury Boston. I had a late midnight flight flying out, so have requested for a late check out via trip.com comment box. When I checked in, the hotel told me they took note of my request on the trip.com booking and gave me a late check out. Appreciate the professional service at the reception! And the efficiency of trip.com on meeting my request and bookings 🩵 Thank you

GGuest UserThe staff were very helpful and they upgraded us to a lovely spacious room with a fabulous view! The hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to the Pacific Mall, the museums, Newbury St.and many restaurants around. The Lucy Bar and Restaurant inside the hotel is excellent and the food was great! I recommend this hotel to everyone and will definitely stay there again.

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay at the Briar Barn Inn. Our regular king suite was clean and cozy but also had plenty of room. It included a soaking tub and a walk-in shower, fireplace and a sitting area with Hulu Live TV. The bed was among the most comfortable we've ever slept in. Breakfast were croissants, scones and muffins the front desk told us were from local bakeries and coffee. It's a 15-20 minute drive to Crane Beach ($40 per car) and a 20-minute drive to Plum Island ($20 per car). It was our first New England inn experience, and it was a very good one. The restaurant was closed for July 4 while we were there.
