3-Star Hotels in Shaanxi, China

A five star rating for a local three star hotel. Everything was good from the hotel location which is within 2 km from Bell and Drum Towers. Staff were friendly especially the kitchen's chefs who packed breakfasts for us on the day we went on an early excursion to the Terracotta Warrior sites. The hotel has good amenities: It is surrounded by food and convenience stores and even a supermarket. The washing machines and heaters are really helpful as my family were staying there for a week so clean laundry was definitely a plus The housecleaning service is also prompt and helpful whenever we have additional requests. The only negative is the wifi connection which went off intermittently. Oddly this issue only happened on our mobile phones while it worked ok for my laptop.

There are multiple exits from Zhonglou station. I tried exit B，exit 9 and exit 1. All of them are similar walking distance towards the hotel. The hotel is located on the “ground” level, underground level are made up of souvenir/drinks/snacks stores which you can easily access via a short staircase. The hotel is in between a row of little local shops. The easiest way to navigate is download Baidu maps and enter 宜必思尚品酒店(西安钟鼓楼回民街店) 西安市莲湖区. A public square right under the hotel comes to life from morning to evening with people setting up little stalls with a mat/stools selling little souvenirs. There are also multiple message therapists providing their service for just 20yuan. Super convenient to reach the Drum tower just by 1mjns of walking, it is right there when you step out. Muslim quarter is 2mins away, while convenient avoid the main street like plaque. If you see roujiamo stalls with oddly long queue when everyone else is nonexistent, those are fake queuers engaged to fool tourists

Stayed here for our Xian trip. Hotel was modest but adequate. Staff did not speak english but we used the translator apps so that was not a major issue. Room was big and comfortable. Self-Service Laundry is available. Halal restaurants are available along the streets. Location is near to the Lumoushi Pedestrian shopping alley and about 15 mins walk to the Huimin Muslim Food Street. Very close to the metro station. A special mention to our housekeeper Ms Xiaoxiao at Level 8 for keeping good care of our room and the other staff for their warmth service.

Stayed 5 nights in 4 person dorm room Expectation/Reality: this establishment exceeded expectations. Check in is ground floor and fairly easy to find and access. The room beds are good size and clean, there is lots of storage space for belongings and generally better than what was expected. The free laundry and detergent is a nice plus. Internet has good connection. Security: very secure, there is a lock to the door of the main room and a locker cubby for each guest, felt belongings where secure and in a safe area. Hygiene: generally very clean, in a four person room it is shared showers with only four people, and on slow season you might only share with one or two other people. The cleaners come consistently to clean and refile soap. Hospitality: staff was excellent and competent. Although it is a chain it felt like it is owner operated, check in was smooth, extending the stay was smooth and all additional information and assistance was timely and effective. Social Atmosphere: no scheduled events, but there is plenty of social and public space to meet people, generally good vibes. Overall: one of the best hostels in China so far having stayed in 5 different hostels in China in 5 different cities for over 20 nights. I would recommend and would stay again.

This hotel is good to stay at during a layover. The room is spacious and clean. The hotel was quiet so we were able to rest. Breakfast was ok, but there was not Western food or coffee. They offer an airport shuttle but we were not able to catch the shuttle. We phoned the hotel from the airport but they hang up. However, despite this, it is walkable distance from Terminal 3 to the hotel.

The room was very clean and they had a 24 hour desk so check in at 12am was very convenient. There was also room service every day with new towels and water bottles.

Serve by Xiao Mong. Hotel is clean and a good size one. Can open 2 luggage at same time. Description is accurate. Location is fantastic. Food and attractions are just outside hotel. All the activities are around the hotel. Train station is just 2 mins away. Buses are around the corner.

The ladies on the reception are all friendly and helpful. I checked out late and it was okay. Everyday the room is tidied up and free water bottles are replenished. I can recommend staying at this hotel.

The hotel is very strategically located near Anyuanmen and many restaurants/convenience stores. While it’s a bit far from the nearest Metro station, there is a bus stop just in front of it, so you can also get to the Bell Tower quickly from there. The facilities are unbelievably complete for what I paid. The room space is big, almost everything can be controlled digitally in the room, from opening the curtains to setting up music via bluetooth. There is also a small washing machine in the bathroom for underwear only, and a laundry room for everything else. The hotel also has a simple gym near the entrance should you need it. Furthermore, although I didn’t try it, the hotel also provides free renting of Hanfu (there never seems to be anybody manning the station, but I suppose if you make an appointment they can provide it for you) I also found the staff very friendly and helpful, one lady even gladly helped me with all my laundry overnight from washing to drying despite communication difficulties. I can wholeheartedly recommend staying here, and would definitely come back should I have the chance to visit Xi’an again in the future!

Convenient as located within airport. We booked one night since our flight is in the morning. The double bed is queen size, no space to turn for two adults. The bed and pillows are comfortable. It does feel claustrophobic when the door is closed. Quiet.

Amazingly good and clean hotel near places of interest but a bit of noise coming from the school next building early in the morning.Staff are good except that the AC was not working properly even though it in the winter but the room was too warm and unable to adjust to cooler temperatures.Due to communication difficulties was told to switch off the AC instead of solving the problem but managed to open the window for cool air.Breakfasts was average the first day there were no coffee serve or plain water which I found it strange but the next day there’s coffee machine so it a matter of suggestion.Free usage of washing machine and luggage storage.On the right of the hotel there’s a convenient shop and 7-11. Near to Muslim's quarters and Bell tower. InshaAllah will be back soon with the children’s and recommend to friends.Big thank you Ibis staff especially that only Receptionist dude Han so helpful and friendly.

When we arrived at the hotel my friend was sick AF and was throwing up every 5minutes. Thankfully the room was huge (not like other hotels in china, and to be honest is big even for european standards) so i could enjoy some time in the room by watching drag race global (#teamnehellenia) on the sofa, by watching the view from the window and by taking long walks in the room all of this while he was vomiting in the bathroom. The location is great is just 20min by didi from the airport and 20min from xi'an north railway station by subway (just one stop). Next to the hotel there are a lot of restaurants and places to eat in general. The only downside was that the hotel only had 2 washing machines (very weird since ibis hotel in jiayuguan has several and it is way smaller) and they do greenwashing!!! (the trashcan should is separated for recycling waste and non recycling waste but if you look more closely you realize that inside there's only one bag for the trash. And please please please make sure to visti hua shan mountain it's beautifull up there e soprattutto è pieno di fregni rari con le tette e braccia enormi e bara! BEST HOTEL IN CHINA HANDS DOWN

The room was large, clean and comfortable, and the equipment was new. The parking lot is quite large, behind the hotel. The disadvantage is that you have to pay a deposit. All the single rooms are on the side of the road. In the morning, you encounter guns and it is a bit noisy.

Amazing hotel. We booked the largest queen room. It was very spacious and provided a very nice rest before we took off again. We stayed for two nights in total, and wish we could have stayed longer. Within a 5 minute car ride away, you can experience local food and get a nice foot massage. In addition to the amazing room, the staff was extremely helpful as well. The front desk assistant with glasses was very helpful and made our trip very smooth and peaceful. Morning breakfast was great as well. The noodle soup was great, and a nice taste of Xi'an noodles, if you aren't able to explore more. Highly recommend.

The location of the hotel is very remote. It takes an hour for a takeaway order to be delivered. There is basically nothing to eat or do around. As an airport hotel, it is understandable that the price/performance ratio is acceptable. It would be a good stay experience, if it were not for the location. Question, I plan to live there forever. Facilities: Completely equipped with everything you need Hygiene: Overall clean and tidy. The toilet seat in the bathroom is not very clean. You can prepare a disposable toilet seat. Environment: The room is large and well-lit, and the bedding is changed after each guest. Service: Pretty good. Will take the initiative to say hello to guests when meeting them. Exclusive airport pick-up and drop-off service: Just call the hotel when you arrive and wait at the departure gate. The arrival speed is quite fast. Good night porridge: I didn’t drink it, but it seemed to end at 12 o’clock in the morning. However, the hotel’s breakfast is still worth eating. It has a rich variety, freshness, and good taste.

This All Seasons Hotel has good facilities and rooms. Since we checked in at night, the service at the front desk still needs a lot of improvement. The breakfast room lacks some smiles and greetings. The service is still okay, but there are not many smiles. Overall, the facilities and equipment are good, and the service is also there, but there are not many smiles and greetings. Convenient Services The hotel offers convenient pick-up services from the station and the starting point of the hike, making logistics a breeze. Outstanding Hospitality Despite my late arrival, Nini showcased extraordinary hospitality. She prepared delicious food and ensured I felt welcome and comfortable. Effective Communication Communication was smooth throughout my stay. We used translation apps when necessary, which worked perfectly to overcome any language barriers. Highly Recommended I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to climb Mount Huashan. The convenient location, helpful staff, and excellent service make it an ideal choice for visitors to the area. This place is run by a very kind couple, they will take care of you fully through your entire stay in Huayin town! We visited Huayin to hike Huashan, and apart from taking a taxi to the guesthouse, all transport was provided by the boss - he drove us to the visitors centre for starting the hike, even coming to pick us when the ticket booth wasn’t open (Chinese public holiday) and drove us to the main visitor centre, and then he drove us to the train station on our last day. The lady boss helped to buy cableway tickets ahead of our hike so we wouldn’t have to queue. We also ate all meals here, as the food is great! The guesthouse is located in a small village at the foot of the mountain, a short walk from a small ticket booth for park tickets (only locals can buy Huashan tickets on WeChat, foreigners need to buy them in person). This ticket counter is closed on public holidays (no signs or announcements, we just bumped into some park staff who told us), so you will need to go to the main visitors centre (about 3 mins drive). You should download WeChat to communicate with the guesthouse - we messaged them and they helped to figure out what was going on, and sent a car to come get us. After descending from the mountain you may message them for pick up, but we chose to walk back to the guesthouse from the visitors centre (~10mins). It is really remote, there’s nothing much to do in the area apart from admire the views, but this is also precisely why this place is so lovely!

The owner is a very nice woman who helped me with the pick up to the foot of the Huashan mountain from where I started my way up. The room was clean and comfortable. The only trouble (as usually in China😬) was the old ladies horse-running along the corridor and screaming and shouting from 5-6 a.m. Probably, they were the hotel guests. One of them banging on the door of my room untill the security signal response, when it was still dark. When I opened the door, the lady seemed to get the wrong place, but she didn't even ask an excuse. As I understood, it is quite a normal practice 🤪 Anyway, I enjoyed my trip, and Huashan is really magestic!!!!

Because I booked a trip to climb Mount Huashan, I stayed with my friends for two days. It was really comfortable. I am a person who has higher requirements for accommodation than for food and drink, so before traveling, I really spent a long time comparing various hotels and hotels. B&B🏠, it’s really hard to find a B&B with a suitable price and good environment. Finally, I settled on this B&B. I think it was a super wise decision for me. First of all, the location of the B&B is not far from Huashan Mountain and the station. The B&B provides pick-up and drop-off services. When we arrived at the station, we contacted the owner in advance and he would drive over to pick us up and take us to the B&B. When we arrived, the B&B owner personally helped us carry our luggage upstairs to the room. You don’t even have to do it yourself at the door haha. The next day we went to Huashan Visitor Center to take the bus, and the boss drove us there personally. The service was really super good. The owner is a couple who run the hotel. They hired a chef and a cleaning lady. The B&B was renovated from their own home. It is a three-story building. The upper floor is the accommodation, and the first floor is the reception and leisure area, where you can make tea and drink tea. 🍵, you can also play table tennis🎱 and other games. There is a small courtyard behind the first floor. There is a swimming pool in the small courtyard, a swing, and you can barbecue and eat iron pot stew in the small courtyard at night. You can sing in the open-air KTV. If it rains, you can go to the basement to sing. Haha, you can have everything. We were too tired the first night and didn't go downstairs. The next morning we had breakfast at the B&B. It only cost 18 yuan a portion. You can choose a whole grain set meal, noodles or noodles. I chose a whole grain set meal, and my friend had fried noodles, which tasted pretty good. After eating, the boss sent us to the visitor center to take the bus. We didn’t go down the mountain until around 7:30 in the evening⛰️. We contacted the boss in advance to pick us up and take us back to the B&B. After we returned to the B&B and packed up, it was already 9:30 in the evening, so we went downstairs to look for us. For food, the chef 🧑🍳 has already got off work😂. When we went down, we happened to meet the boss, the boss lady and their friends drinking and eating barbecue in the courtyard. They invited us to sit and eat together. We ordered some extra barbecue, and it was the boss A friend grilled it for us. He said it was his first time grilling and it actually tasted pretty good. Haha, we chatted with the boss and the others while eating. We didn’t go back to the room until after 11 o’clock in the evening. We were still not satisfied. We also made an appointment with the boss to take us to eat mutton steamed buns before leaving tomorrow. We didn't have time to eat when we were in Xi'an. He joked that if we invited him to eat, he would take us to eat the most authentic mutton steamed buns. We agreed. On the third day, we delayed checking out of the room until almost 12 noon and asked the boss to take us to eat steamed buns. We happened to intercept the boss who was about to have lunch, and stopped him a second before he put down his chopsticks to take us there. The steamed buns tasted really authentic and delicious. It was a huge portion and the sweet garlic flavor was also very good. We couldn’t finish it after half the meal. The portion was too big haha. After finishing the meal, the boss drove back to pick us up and put them at the front desk. He also took us to the local supermarket to buy specialties. He waited in the car for us until we finished shopping and then took us to the station. It was such a considerate service. If you also want this kind of family-style feeling, you can choose this place. Not to mention the sanitation and environmental services, the rooms are also very spacious and clean, and there are a variety of room types to choose from. If you want to use a sauna, there are also sauna suites. I'm not procrastinating. I really feel the good service and environment. I sincerely recommend it to everyone. It's really good. If my friends come here in the future, I will definitely recommend it. You will never regret it if you come. I really strongly recommend it. Recommended👍👍👍

He also picked me up when I went hiking the next day. It was a perfect one-stop service🤙 Facilities: Very complete. The shower toilets are of high quality. Squatting on the toilet is convenient for the wind from the mountains to blow over. It is very comfortable. It is a very quiet and comfortable environment. Pick-up station: The boss's one-stop service is very good. If you haven't experienced a mountain view room yet, please come here. The price is very affordable and considerate.

Because the first stop in Xi'an the next day, the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, I chose this hotel. This is a relatively cost-effective hotel. The hotel is expected to drive 30 minutes from the museum. It is very convenient. It has its own parking lot. You can choose by car. The second is the decoration environment, the decoration is quite satisfactory, the facilities are a bit old, but they are all good, there is nothing to be seen, I am too looking forward to the room environment will be disappointed. The third is breakfast, very rich and delicious, of course, this is based on personal taste habits. The entire hotel is very polite, whether it is the front desk, security or restaurant staff.

During this trip to Xi'an, even the children evaluated this as the most comfortable hotel we stayed in. The beautiful view of Huashan outside the window, the large floor-to-ceiling windows, let me enjoy it in bed. Although the name is a homestay, it is cleaner than many star hotels! I like this very much, because I am also a bit clean. The house is very new and the boss is warm and thoughtful! The recommended food is really good! If I climb Huashan again in the future, I will definitely stay again.

The B&B at the foot of Mount Huashan has a good location and very nice rooms. We booked a mountain view room, which faces the mountain and has a stream under the bridge. The owner and his family are very welcoming. We pick you up at the high-speed rail station and send you to the ticket checkpoint when you climb the mountain in the morning. The breakfast is very good. You can order food when you come back in the evening. The taste of the food is quite in line with my taste as a Northeasterner.

Location is just right benneath mount hua. The owner will drives you to the mountain base or the tourist center, whichever you prefer. In addition, pickup and dropoff service between the station and hostel are free. Room is clean and has a zen look. If you have enquires, you can ask the owner and he or she will answer you patiently. I'm planning to hike mount hua the second time, and would definitely choose to stay with them again
