"We stayed for a wedding, perfect location next to the station. Standout was the receptionist - super friendly and helpful, took our bags ahead of checking and allowed us to use the facilities to change for the wedding. Would recommend."

"Booked on the recommendation of a family member , 1st room on the ground floor was small, cold and had a broken window handle leaving the room unsecured.  We said to the reception staff who asked if we wanted moved , we moved to an ”upgraded” room on the top floor which was far better, as we were staying for 3 nights we welcomed the move.  Can’t comment on the leisure pool as we didn’t use it, given that we had paid for 3 night’s accommodation I don’t see why I would have to pay to use the pool and use towels!  Bar was ok but at times you have to wait for someone to come and serve, the bar also closed at 11pm regardless if you are staying or not. No automatic room service you have to ask for the room to be cleaned and fresh towels etc.  Many other hotels in the area so don’t think we would return"

"I spent an enjoyable two nights at the Crown Manor Park hotel. The location was perfect for discovering the New Forest. Check in was easy. My room was on the 1st floor facing the road, it had air con which was very welcome. The room had a welcome tray with biscuits,tea, coffee and hot chocolate. This was replenished on the second day.The bath room was quite small . It had a shower over the bath with shampoo and shower gel provided, lots of hot water. Two large bath towels were available. Breakfast was buffet style with a good selection of hot and cold food. Tea and coffee were served at the table. I would certainly stay here again."

Been there in February and come back this time in April and definitely I’ll come back again next year. "We had an amazing time at Old Thorns Hotel & Resort celebrating my fiancé’s birthday weekend. The whole place is beautiful, the décor is stunning, with lovely pictures throughout that make it feel both homely and luxurious at the same time. The spa facilities and gym were excellent, and the young guy at the bar was especially friendly and made us some great drinks. The rooms were spacious, the showers were fantastic, and the golf course was beautiful and very well maintained. The only area I think could use a little improvement is the breakfast selection. There were fruits, bread, yoghurt, eggs, and the usual items for an English breakfast, but after staying more than one night, it would have been nice to have more variety such as pancakes or other breakfast options to switch things up a bit. I also paid extra for the birthday package. While I wasn’t expecting anything extravagant, it did feel a little misleading for the £15 charge, as it mainly included balloons, a very small teddy bear, some chocolates, and a card, which was exactly what was shown in the pictures. Other than that, everything was perfect and we had a wonderful stay."

"The hotel do not make it clear that you have to pay for the swimming pool each time you use it. When you have children who are expecting to swim, this is simply not good enough. When booking it clearly says there are leisure facilities, including a swimming pool. It was only when checking in that we were told you had to pay £5 per person! We booked a ‘golf view’ room. When we arrived in the room there was a view of a bush, tree and bins with golf buggies in the distance come the morning, hardly a golf view in our opinion. Very disappointed children who were excited to be able to see a fairway! Breakfast was massively understaffed. The two staff members working were working very hard but with a full hotel, there should have been more staff working. It took far too long for glasses to be topped up to use for juice and the pastries ran out and were not replaced in time for us to eat. All staff members were lovely and worked hard but I feel management need to act upon previous reviews. We were told that the golf view issue was historical and an issue with Trip and how they advertise but if this was the case, why had nothing been done to address it? We were offered a drinks voucher as compensation but we refused as we had already purchased our non-alcoholic drinks for the evening. Perhaps not the best offer for a family! We asked if we could have our swim paid for instead and were told no because the leisure facilities were separate to the hotel??"

"New Year's Eve Party We booked an overnight stay at the #Aviator to celebrate New Year's Eve. We were upgraded to an airside view room with breathtaking views of the runway. The room was airy and big. We requested a fridge in our room and a carafe of water which was supplied to us. The room had a powerful rain shower which was so needed after hours of dancing! The bed was comfy and the TV was super easy to use We did not avail breakfast this time but did go to the excellent sky bar for some yummy cocktails! Room came with iron, hairdryer, safe, USB sockets, tra and coffee facilities (cafetiere coffee) with option to request fresh milk. We will certainly be back!"

"We stayed here for two nights before our cruise from Southampton. My friend sprained her ankle on the plane, and the incredibly friendly front desk staff kindly gave us an accessible room. However, when we checked out and packed, I accidentally left a pair of shoes behind. After our 8-day cruise, we returned to the hotel to ask about them, but were told there was no record in their lost and found system and the items weren't in the lost and found pile. The hotel breakfast didn't have a huge variety, but it was delicious."

"Extremely satisfied! The room was clean and hygienic, and the location was super convenient. Parking was a breeze too. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, so you don't have to walk far for meals. Getting to attractions by car was also very easy. Highly recommend!"

"This was our second visit to this hotel. The room we had, 224, had everything we needed but was very small. Staff were very welcoming, and the lady at reception recognised us from our previous visit. Service in the restaurant was good, as was the food. It's a busy hotel and was a little noisy on Saturday night as there was a birthday party, so it was fair enough but the noise from the patio area went on till very late. Overall, it is a nice hotel for a short stay, we are regular visitors to the area and it mainly depends on the price where we book."
