"There was no direction on how to turn on the heather. Tried to call receptionist, no information to which number to dial. In most of hotel you dialled 0 then you will get the receptionist. Apparently this hotel has 3 digits number to dial the receptionist and again, there was no instructions how to contact receptionist. I was too tired to go down asking about the heather. We ended up with sleeping on the freezer that night."

"My daughter and I stayed two nights in this hotel and we were very good. The reception was excellent, the counsel gave us a lot of useful information. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very varied. The hotel has a large free parking.

"I stayed in bologna for a night and chose this hotel as it was low cost and is near Bologna centrale.
Pro - nice clean room, bed comfortable, bathroom clean, Breakfast was very good and only costs 7.5 euro(i bought it in the morning from reception), front desk friendly and helpful.
Cons - Remote area (20 minutes away from city center by taxi) , no toothbrush provided( you can buy it for 1.50 euro from the reception), after 11 the front desk/reception closes and you have to go down and press a button in order to call someone. so i would suggest check all amenities in your room before 11 , the phone in the room was not working and when i asked them to fix. they said they will fix after i will leave(which was weird haha), the hair dryer in the bathroom was huge but less power.
Overall i would not mind staying there again if it is a short stay like 1 or 2 nights as its cheap and if i am just going to hotel to sleep and shower.

"The hotel is easy to find. There is free parking outside. The gate closes at 11pm, but you can use a card to enter and exit. There is a pizza shop (mo-pizza) next to it. It is very retro and cost-effective. The hotel breakfast is very good. The room is very comfortable and spacious. It is very cost-effective."

"The hotel is so so. It is old. I felt some dust in my room.
Location is a 20-25min walk distance from the old town. Need to be careful at night in its area.
There are some choices for the buffet breakfast.

"The room was clean and tidy, the service was good, the environment outside the hotel was very quiet, the air was good in the morning and the birds could be heard. The breakfast was a simple Western breakfast. There was hot water to pick up. The foreign lady began to learn that we drank hot water."

"I stopped in Modena to visit the Ferrari Museum. I booked this hotel without much thought, but everything, from the interior facilities, front desk service, breakfast, room, and complimentary drinks, was truly impressive. If I hadn't already booked a hotel in Rome, I would have loved to stay a few more days. The room was spacious, and overall, it was the best value for money hotel of my entire European trip. I'd definitely love to stay here again. My thanks go out to the staff at the front desk on the first floor."

I enjoyed my stay at the Astor :) the room had a funny smell, the breakfast was very uninspiring, and one could hear every noise from every corner all the time, but the room also was large and comfortable and the bathroom was good and everyone on staff was very friendly and helpful - it was a relief to stay at a place where it felt a lot like being at home. I definitely would stay again.

Location at appx 20 minutes to city center(easy to reach) 30 minutes ro railway station. Reception opne till 11 pm, after you can make self checkin to a machine at the entrance. Clean and modern loby and breakfast areas. Decent breakfast. The strangest room that I ever seen: all walls in wood and not in the nice way, it feels that you are in an old vessel cabin. Even the walls are “protected” by addional wood doors or are locled by wood panels. A lot of furniture, not very functional as same parts are locked. Not felt very safe in the first night. Once you stay more you get used to it. Overall, for the priced paid during New Year period or if you are on budget, is ok for what you paid.

Great Value Stay with Character – Some Fixes Needed!! 8/10 !
This property offers a unique experience with its beautiful, historic setting near Bologna. The grand alley, antique decor, spacious living room, and modern touches like AC and smart TVs make it feel both classic and comfortable. Parking is easy, and the detailed directions are helpful—just make sure to complete online check-in to get all the access codes.
Pros:
• Peaceful location in nature, yet close to Bologna.
• Clean bedsheets, AC, and modern TVs.
• Impressive decor and spacious common areas.
• Plenty of parking space.
Cons:
• Room and bathroom doors are thin wood, noisy, and not well insulated.
• Bathroom shower door has water leakage issues, from bathroom to hallway to our bedroom—needs fixing.
• Beds are typical Tuscan style, not very stable but nice and new bed sheets!
• No mosquito nets, though AC keeps the room cool.
• Shared kitchen is downstairs; hair dryer didn’t fit any socket…
Overall, it’s one of the best stays in Tuscany at this price range. Just avoid bringing a sports car—the village roads are in very very poor condition.

I really enjoyed staying at the hotel Centrale Byron as the reception staff was very welcoming, helpful and multilingual. Even the cleaning lady was cheerful which made me feelvery welcome.
The hotel’s location in the historic city centre is perfect for exploring the sights, shopping and eating out (the mercato coperto with its bars & restaurants is just around the corner). The train station is a 8-10min walk away.
The room was practical & convenient: the furniture was not the most modern but well maintained and there was a desk, a fridge, a haidryer and a small tv.
The bath room was tiny and I had to wiggle around the door to reach the sink. But everything was sparkling clean.
My single room had a proper small single bed — something I only know from Italy. I slept well, though. The only thing that was a bit negative was that you could hear your room neighbours through the walls.
Breakfast was served with a choice if cereals, jams, cold cuts & cheeses, breads and croissants as well as real Italian café prepared freshly.

Seafront structure basic room good mattress with a nice topper very clean room and I must say also the breakfast is not bad.
Small flaw the silence of the rooms, they are not soundproofed and a group of kids came back at 3:30 making a lot of noise in the corridor and once in the rooms you could hear their talking.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a relaxing place to come back to after a day of exploring. The breakfast offered a good variety of fresh and delicious options, and the hotel’s location was convenient, with easy access to the beach, public transportation, and nearby attractions.
What truly made our stay special was the excellent customer service. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and their recommendations were very helpful.
