This hotel is fantastic! It's incredibly convenient, located just 10 meters from Yotsubashi Subway Station, right outside Exit 2. Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori are only 1.2 km away, so you can easily walk there to explore the area by night. Plus, there's a supermarket right next door, which is very affordable and handy for grabbing essentials. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean. While the rooms aren't huge, they are very well-equipped and even include a fridge, which is incredibly handy. On the second floor, there's a free hot and cold water dispenser, saving you from buying bottled water. They also have a microwave and an ice machine available for guests, which is super convenient for heating up meals or getting ice anytime. They also offer luggage storage, which is a thoughtful touch. I will definitely book this hotel again the next time I visit Osaka.

I booked this hotel primarily for its location. The actual route was much simpler than what Google Maps suggested; we followed a previous reviewer's advice: take the JR West Exit/Sakurabashi Exit, cross the road, walk past 7-Eleven, and it's straight ahead – no need for the convoluted route Google Maps suggested. It's also very convenient for the airport, with the bus terminal just a 5-minute walk away, saving you the hassle of lugging suitcases up and down stairs. However, Umeda Station is massive. While the hotel is right next to a subway entrance, some subway lines still require a good 10-15 minute walk to reach from their respective exits. Now for the downsides. Despite the great location, if you happen to get a street-facing room, you can still hear the JR train noise (even on the 12th floor, which isn't particularly low). Light sleepers beware. There was also some dust in the room, especially on the blinds. The bathroom was quite small. And, somewhat strangely, booking a triple room for two people ended up being cheaper than a double room. Furthermore, bottled water isn't provided in the rooms; instead, there's a water dispenser and ice machine in the hallway on each floor, so you need to bring your own bottle to fill up. Overall, it's acceptable for a one-night stay, and the breakfast was decent. However, if the price is too high, it definitely isn't worth the cost.

Location was great, just in front of the hotel are 2 train stations including the big Namba station, and just across the road is Kuromon Market, only 5 min walk to Dotonburi and 20 min walk to Shinsaibashi. However, I think the hotel and room is lacking in some details and can be improved in many areas - e.g. the lobby is very small & only has 3 chairs for guests to sit, consider expanding it to have more seating area for the elderly. The beds are not very comfy, my mum had a backache after sleeping on them.. and there is only 1 pillow. Also, the clothes hanging rods doesn't make sense, consider making them side by side instead of one on top of another. There can also be more hanging racks/rods on the walls or inside the bathroom since it's so big. Please consider providing a luggage rack for guests who can't bend down to the floor easily.

The location is incredibly convenient - just steps away from the train station exits, making it easy to get around. There’s a Family Mart right on the ground floor, which was a lifesaver for grabbing water or snacks after a long day of exploring. I wasn’t feeling well when I arrived in Osaka and left a note for the housekeeper explaining the situation. I truly appreciated the kind response I received—it meant a lot that time 🥹 I definitely recommend this place and would absolutely book again if I return to Osaka!

1. The room is very clean. 2. The hotel is close to the train station for traveling back to Kansai Airport. 3. The hotel is close to many restaurants. 4. Traveling to shopping places is quite close. 5. Overall, the hotel rooms are not too small and can be used as comfortable rooms. The hotel provides a changing service and towels every day. 6. Worth the price paid for the room.

I had a great stay at Best Western Hotel Fino Osaka! The location is excellent — just a 3-minute walk to the train station, around 10 minutes to the busy Shinsaibashi area, with a 7/11 right across and plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby. The wifi was fast, and I loved the complimentary drinks in the lobby (water, tea, milk tea, coffee, even ice!). They also provide free amenities like combs, shavers, hair ties, and lotion. Their shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel were premium quality, which was a pleasant surprise. The room and bathroom were very clean, with a comfortable bed and comforter, plus a bath tub. The only downside is that the space is quite limited if you prefer larger rooms, but it’s very typical of Japan. Overall, excellent value for money and a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The rooms are a decent size, especially for Japan, and it's fully equipped with everything you need. The main highlight is its excellent location, right in the heart of the Shinsaibashi shopping district. You can pretty much find anything you want to buy in Japan here, especially with many duty-free cosmetic stores. It's easy to get all those popular beauty products that are often mentioned online as being better value when purchased in Japan compared to China. Shinsaibashi subway station is just a short walk (a few dozen meters) to the left from the hotel exit, offering excellent connectivity to all parts of the city. Dining options are plentiful in the Shinsaibashi district. While prices can be a bit high in this commercial area, I found it acceptable for the convenience and time saved. It was also very convenient for visiting the Expo this year, just a 30-minute subway ride away. If you walk about ten minutes to the right from the hotel, there are actually many authentic Japanese restaurants. Unfortunately, we only discovered this on our last day before flying home, so we only managed to try one. The hotel service was excellent. While the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, the taste was good – light and delicate, perfectly suiting our Cantonese palate. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

We stayed here as part of our trip that took us from Osaka to Tokyo. The room was spotlessly clean; though compact, it was very well-equipped with everything we needed. While it's about 800 meters from the subway station, which isn't particularly close, the price offered fantastic value, so booking in advance is highly recommended. The area directly below the hotel is known for its host clubs. Having read previous reviews, I made sure to email ahead and request a high-floor, quiet room. There's a 7-Eleven right downstairs, which was incredibly convenient for essentials. You can even buy instant noodles and use their hot water to prepare them on the spot. Within a kilometer, there's a Life supermarket where we bought beef for two days, which we enjoyed with our instant noodles – very satisfying meals! Unfortunately, we couldn't take advantage of any evening discounts at Life, as it closed at midnight and we weren't able to wait around for price reductions. Overall, despite my mother being a bit wary of the neighborhood due to us having children, I still found it to be a good choice. The host clubs we passed didn't have anything overtly unsuitable for children displayed at their entrances, and our kids simply mistook the hosts for celebrities.

Exceeded expectations! The front desk staff were warm and efficient, and the room was clean and cozy, with bedding as comfortable as home. Breakfast had a great variety, and the servers were attentive and friendly. The location is convenient, soundproofing is excellent, and the turndown service was a thoughtful touch. I'll definitely choose this hotel again and recommend it to friends!

Front desk is very responsive, even though is self check in machine but the staffs still very prompt in welcoming us when we enter the lobby. They are friendly and understands English which is very helpful and assisted us in our check in. Room size is quite decent as per the usual Japan hotel room size and is clean. The shower mixer they used is amazing and the heated toilet bowl just makes it better. The hotel location is very conveniently located near the small metro entrance and is in between two convenience stores. Room is comfortable, no noise or anything. Will recommend this hotel and will book again if I go back to Osaka. Thank you.

GGuest UserThis hotel is a great choice for short stays, especially if you’re looking for convenience and privacy. The location is excellent—just under a 5-minute walk from Tengachaya Station, making it easy to access public transportation. There is also direct train from Kansai Airport to Tengachaya station, without transfer - bonus point if you arrived from KIX. There’s also a 7-Eleven nearby that offers Yamato luggage delivery service, which is very handy if you're traveling with heavy bags. The hotel operates as a fully self-service property, with no staff at the front desk. Check-in is straightforward—they’ll email you a passcode to access your mailbox, where you’ll find your room key. Rooms are compact, as is typical in Osaka, but very clean and feel quite new. The bed has storage space underneath, which is perfect for stowing large suitcases. Amenities are basic (toothbrush, comb, shaver), and you can pick them up at the front desk area, which also has a microwave available if you want to heat up food. One thing to note: there’s no coin laundry on-site, so if you’re staying for an extended period, plan accordingly. The room brochure mentions a luggage delivery service, but I didn’t receive a reply when I tried to contact them using provided number.  Overall, it’s a solid option for short stays—comfortable, private, and very conveniently located near transit and services.

GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located right by Exit 2 of Yotsubashi Subway Station, just a few seconds' walk away! Plus, it's only a five-minute walk to Shinsaibashi, making the location truly excellent.

Zzh3usThe trick to easily getting back is when at Shinsaibashi, when you see Ralph Lauren / Ralph Coffee, just turn and walk the street directly straight. Theres a xenophonic restaurant that charges foreigners an extra fee just next to the 'Casino' and Liqueur Mountain. Best to avoid that store. Lots of food nearby, Chinese food, Vietnamese food, Thai Food, its all avaliable within a few minutes walk.

EEudaemoniaAlthough the room is small, the facilities are complete and it is very clean. The bad thing is that the sound insulation is average. When guests from other rooms come back in the middle of the night, they can hear the doors and conversations clearly. The shower sound is also a bit loud. If you have a limited budget and want to be closer to the city, this hotel is worth booking.

AAmarFromUKLocation: Next to Bentencho station so easy access to Osaka loop line and Chuo Line for Subway and Rail. Really good location even though it's not central Osaka. The advantage is that you can still get everywhere within 10-20mins and the surrounding area is clean and safe and quiet. There is a 7-11 next door and a commercial gym (charged at 1650 per day) Negatives are there is not much to do in the evenings. But this leads to the quietness of the area and is an advantage Hotel Room: We stayed in double room and it was large. Nice comfortable bed with good pillows. The AC was modern and good and did not make noise even while we were asleep. The room is cleaned daily (tidy and new towels) with new sheets every 3 days. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided. The room was also very clean. The bed has USB and chargers on either side of it. There is space to hang clothes But the room is really nice. We always were glad to come back to a very clean and tidy place. The TV has English menus but we never watched anything. Negatives are the fridge could be colder and the bathroom sink has a tiny slope on it so you cannot place product on the sink but you have a shelf above the sink for this. Very slight negatives for what is a great place to stay Hotel features: Excellent. Great laundry room with several washers & dryers. Trouser presses, vending machine and ice machine. A rooftop terrace with good views. The breakfast is free and is underwhelming, just different bread and pastries with choices of juice, soups, water and yogurt. It's acceptable and I guess it's free. The hotel lobby has little items you can take if needed, such as hair bands, toothbrushes, razor kits but something nice was that they give you bath bombs for free too. Different ones each day. Staff: Very friendly and helpful, even after midnight when I made requests they were very fast and helpful Overview: 100% would stay here again. The price-to-quality ratio and the large room size make this an easy choice. Do not worry about location, I stayed it Dontonburi area before and alothgh its close to everything, its loud, dirty and feels unsafe. But the location of Porta Inn is really good and super easy to get to central areas (around 10-20mins) and easy to get to the airport (direct line) and easy to get to Universal Studios too.

AAdrian Tan HxThis capsule hotel was truly remarkable. It was spotlessly clean, and the amenities were more than sufficient. The check-in process was seamless and hassle-free. However, the only downside was the noise from other guests moving around. It was quite distracting and prevented me from getting a good night’s sleep until around 2 or 3 am. I suppose this is a common issue in capsule hotels.

MM344324****The location is excellent, just a stone's throw from Shinsaibashi, with a convenience store right next door. It's incredibly convenient for early morning shopping at places like Daimaru and Parco. The room was a bit smaller than what I had near Daimon Station in Tokyo, likely due to the higher property value in this area. However, the breakfast was absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend the Osaka-style mixed juice – seriously, I drank it every single day!
