Tiya AlfredHad a pleasant and enjoyable stay. Despite having the toilet leaking on the 1st day evening, they sent 3 maintenance guys to check and rectify the problem. Loved the shower, strategic location near to many eateries, walkable attractions abt 15min, have a small pool quiet and cosy, overall good time. Definitely will come back again. Easy to check in with touch screen card access guidelines and check out. They have hair dryer, iron board, electrical kettle, tea coffee sugar, workable TV, mini fridge. Pool is at L23 open 7am-8pm, there is a vending machine to purchase swimming attire of all sizes. L3 there are ballrooms, small gym and a restaurant. The view is amazing. Thank you so much.

Guest UserLocation is good, lots of eateries with two Chinese coffee shops open morning for breakfast till lunch, from 7am -2pm. It’s only about 10 mins walk to the famous Jonkers Street. The room is spacious and clean but, there was a stench, likely from the carpet. I have stayed here for a few times, like the convenience.

YEN TravelThe hotel's location is really convenient, with plenty of restaurants and amenities nearby, making it super easy to get around. The room itself was clean and tidy, with all the basic facilities needed for a short stay.
The front desk staff were friendly and efficient during check-in. Overall, the environment was comfortable, and the price was reasonable, offering good value for money. It was a satisfying stay.

ZhouyoulieguodeshaguaIt feels a bit like a hostel, but the hygiene is good, and you have to take off your shoes when you enter. There's a very cute and friendly cat. On the first night, there was no hot water, but it was resolved after I reported it. The concept of Swallow's Nest is environmental protection and energy saving, so sometimes it feels inconvenient, but on second thought, it's not bad. The room is quite small, and the bathroom design is extremely compact. Since they don't provide breakfast, the hotel offers free instant noodles and coffee packets. The lobby on the first floor feels like a living room at home. It's very comfortable to sit and chat with a cup of Milo before bed.

Sarahef2026We enjoyed our stay at Rucksack Inn. Location was great, just a short walk from all major attractions. Swimming pool was slightly smaller and more run down than the photos show but was still OK, although it can get crowded at times due to limited seating. Breakfast was basic. Room was nice, good AC, and nice view.

Excellent location! Right in the heart of Jonker Street, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions. The room was small but charming, very clean, and well-equipped. The front desk staff spoke fluent Chinese, and their voices were soft and friendly. Definitely recommend this place for accommodation in Malacca!

This is our go-to hotel every time we visit Malacca. It's affordable, the location is great, and there's plenty of parking. The only downside is the poor soundproofing; I hope they improve that. We'll definitely be staying here again on our next trip.

hahahahahaha
a great budget hotel find for anyone looking for a comfortable stay without breaking the bank. the room was really cozy. got upgraded for a bigger room for f.o.c and it came fully equipped with a tv, iron and kettle nor mineral water. as a muslim travelers, they also provide a clear qibla direction sticker. the aircond was superb too, really cold and perfect for a good night's sleep. the bathroom was the best part, it was clean and the water pressure was really strong which makes showering so refreshing plus most importantly, it has a bidet hose, which is a huge plus. the elevators are okay so no long waits. the staff are very friendly and welcoming also theres plenty of parking space, not to worry about finding a spot for parking. hotel location very strategic & located in the middle a city & convenience store for restaurants, i have to walk a little bit, but it’s a manageable distance. one minor downside, the room soundproofing isnt the best, i can occasionally hear noise from the hallway or outside the room. if youre a light sleeper, you might want to take note of that. overall i highly recommended for those who want comfort on a budget

Guest UserI tried to reach out the night before check-in regarding the check-in details but received no reply. On the day of check-in, my calls went unanswered. I had to contact Ctrip for help, and it took about half an hour to finally get the check-in instructions.
The living room, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom were all very clean and modern. However, the bath towels were very old and had an unpleasant odor; as you can see in the picture, the 'white' towels were actually a yellowish-brown.
The location is very convenient, with plenty of restaurants and leisure facilities nearby. Be warned, though: as the apartment is right by a main road, there was a lot of noise from late-night street racers. This is a heads-up for light sleepers.
