Very roomy unit with all the facilities needed. Aircon was on at arrival so a comfortable start.
Bed was good, bathroom was good.
Not motels fault but people in next door unit stayed up late and were noisy.
We are staying at the motel again next week.
Always my favourite place to stay when we go to The Catlins. Beach is nearby, sunset view is awesome. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back again.
Kleiner Campingplatz mit unterschiedlichen Zimmer bzw. Stellplatzkategorien. Wir hatten ein Cottage mit Kochnische und Bad.
Super sauber, voll ausgestattet.
The room had a large bed, a folding table and chairs, a toaster, and was very close to the sea. The door was very soundproof. Forgot to take a picture.
there are not enough car park spaces for number of rooms, no alternative parking that isnt limited parking. The room itself was ok but no shampoo/conditions in bathroom, cobwebs and a bit dusty. great location and walking distance to town and lake front. They need to do something about the parking - spend the money to stay and cant even park where you paid (unheard of!). supermarket next door but limited parking, no street front parking available and carpark across the road is no overnight parking and why would we be expected to park off site and lug luggage etc.
Clean and comfy bed, but expensive stay for what was effectively a shed… it often felt that there were not enough toilets, with long queues for the bathrooms on all floors in the morning and at night.
There is also a 26-kilometer road from the centre of Glenorchy, and all are gravel roads. The car is a little worried to walk. People who live together are not driving, so it is not easy to come over. Everyone does not know that this hostel is so remote. Such a difficult road to go. However, the environment is very good and very quiet. The stars you see at night are not worse than tekapo. If it is not self-driving, it is recommended not to toss here. The supermarket is only available in the town center, and it is 26 kilometers, most of the gravel road. Think of this, just make a order in it. A little expensive, so a meal of 50 yuan, or something cold-cold, not used to eating. Eat your own food for dinner and cook in the public kitchen. Because it can't be rectified here, so the person who ordered it is relatively cautious, and booked a few days in advance, there are actually beds. Walk along the original trails along the lake and enjoy the peace.
Great location! Our room had a balcony with a fantastic view. It's within walking distance of Octagon Square and the train station. The hotel also offers parking, and the breakfast was good. Definitely recommend!

XXiaowangon the wayI initially booked one night here because my travel plans weren't finalized. Once they were, I extended my stay for another three nights. The hotel is located in the heart of Queenstown, not far from attractions like the Skyline Gondola and the TSS Earnslaw steamship. There are also plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby, including the famous Fergburger, which is just over 100 meters away – very convenient. The front desk staff were warm and helpful, answering all my questions. The room was clean and tidy, and the capsule room was spacious with two charging outlets. There were numerous bathrooms and toilets in the common areas. It's great value for money, and the overall experience was excellent. Five-star rating!
GGuest UserIt’s conveniently located within walking distance to the town center. The front desk staff are kind and friendly. The room is simple but has everything you need. There's a kitchen as well, so you can cook your own meals. Parking seems to be on a first-come, first-served basis, so I recommend securing a spot early.

MMandy PuaIt’s a vintage hotel, I’m surprised with the lift which is very old type of lift, the design very pretty and retro. Room is quite spacious for 4 adults. The heater is very powerful and strong. The hotel is located near to the town center and precinct street, just a few minutes of walk can reach.
TTommy_dejoReally nice looking room and a very good price performance ratio. And you even get a complimentary drink. Room was nice and warm upon arrival. I didnt really understand the self checkin for a second, cause i didnt know the rooms were directly at the parkinglot, where the whiteboards and the name are written. Really easy and useful for a fast checkin and checkout. I would stay there again.
Zzoe-zoeThe room was very clean, and the shared kitchen area was decent. However, the laundry room was really dirty! It felt like it hadn't been maintained in ages, and you needed to pay with Apple Pay. The toilets weren't super clean either, but for a campsite, it was actually pretty good. Definitely bring slippers! The lake nearby is even better than Lake Wanaka, and there were lots of campervans, so it had a lively atmosphere.
GGuest UserA very retro and stylish hotel. It is indeed very old, and the facilities are also very old. The traces of time can be seen everywhere, and the bathroom is also very small. But its biggest advantage is that it is in the city center, very close to the most popular and beautiful station, the Octagonal Square, and other places. There is a bar and restaurant downstairs, providing breakfast and dinner. In addition, the price is also very cost-effective. It depends on your opinion. It depends on each person's choice.
BBenjeeminGreat location for what we needed, right next to the onsen hot pools.
Rooms and bedding was clean however the microwave oven + dishwasher was FILTHY.
May need deep cleaning.
One of the shower doors does close properly due to some bent plastic.
Has bowling alley and pool tables but we had no time to try.
Front desk very accommodating and provided large rubbish bags.
Free parking is included for our room even though website said we might have to pay so that was nice.
