露茜酒店体验师Maozifeng Tourist Area is a popular destination for ginkgo viewing in Guangdong during autumn. I've compiled several real-life traveler reviews to help you gain a comprehensive understanding of the area. This table summarizes Maozifeng's key experiences and key visitor feedback, giving you a quick overview. Item Review Summary Core Attractions: The golden Ginkgo Avenue (Golden Avenue) in late autumn, the densely packed ginkgo trees of Xiaofangping, and the nostalgic atmosphere of the old forest farm houses. Visitor Experience: High photo yields, fresh air, and distinctive farmhouse cuisine. However, the scenic area's shuttle bus experience is subpar, with winding mountain roads prone to motion sickness. Peak season sees a high number of visitors. Suitable for: Photography enthusiasts, families, or groups seeking a short autumn getaway. Value for money: Reasonable ticket prices, but the necessity of the shuttle bus is controversial, and some areas within the scenic area are quite expensive. 🍁 Highlights and Experiences Maozifeng Scenic Area's greatest draw is its unique autumn scenery and unique forest farm atmosphere. Golden Fairytale World: The scenic area is most famous for its Golden Avenue. In late autumn, the towering ginkgo trees, adorned with golden leaves, flank the yellow-tiled houses, blue-windowed gray tiles, and red lanterns, creating a vibrant, vibrant canvas. Furthermore, Xiaofangping's ginkgo trees, due to their short, dense clusters, often turn yellow first, making them ideal for close-up portraits. · Nostalgic Forest Farm Charm: Along the Golden Avenue, preserved forest farm buildings from the 1970s remain. Their red brick walls and peeling paint signs bear witness to time, creating a uniquely nostalgic backdrop for your photos. · Authentic Mountain Forest Experience: The farmhouses here are highly acclaimed for their fresh ingredients, including free-range chicken, river fish, and local specialties like ginkgo stewed chicken and stuffed tofu. Many visitors also praise the fresh air, calling it a premium "forest oxygen bar." ⚠️ Things to Note While the excitement is palpable, there are also some practical challenges you should be aware of. · Transportation and Congestion: A scenic shuttle bus is required to reach the main attractions, and the winding mountain route is recommended. Those prone to motion sickness should be prepared. The scenic bus ticket costs 30 yuan. Officials recommend purchasing it due to the scenic area's vastness, but some visitors find the experience mediocre. Furthermore, the peak season for viewing the ginkgo trees (usually from early November to December) is very busy. · Consumption and Experience: Prices for items like mineral water at the scenic area's convenience stores are slightly higher than those outside. Some visitors have noted that while the core areas of Golden Avenue and Dafangping are the highlights, the area's accessible areas are relatively concentrated, and excessive crowds may hinder the depth of the experience. 💎 Summary Overall, Maozifeng Scenic Area is an excellent destination in Guangdong to experience the golden romance of autumn, especially for photography enthusiasts and those planning short autumn trips. For a better experience, we recommend: · Off-peak travel: Try visiting on weekdays to avoid weekend crowds. · Keep an eye on the leaves: Before your trip, it's best to check social media or travel websites for the latest updates on the ginkgo leaves' yellowing. · Manage your expectations: View it as a refined autumn viewing spot rather than a sprawling, integrated scenic area; this will yield greater satisfaction. I hope this detailed review will help you make a decision. If you have any questions about local accommodation or other details

卡伦美年达We drove up the mountain. In October, there was a sea of flowers in the scenic area. The colors were beautiful for taking photos. Children could also play in the water. There were also some farmhouse restaurants for dining. The road from the gate to the scenic area was quite long and the mountain road was narrow, so be careful.

背着小包游行的鱼The terraced fields are beautiful, but the management is not up to par with the scenery. There is a discrepancy between the online promotion and the actual situation. The rice matures relatively late, and the main scenic area was still green at the end of September.

kat***anOn my second visit to Danxia Mountain, I stayed inside the scenic area, which made it convenient to explore. The scenic area has a free shuttle bus. Since I had elderly people and children with me, we only took the cable car up and down the mountain, took some photos, and then came back down. The next day, we also walked into the mountain and saw the Yangyuan Stone.

阿歪609I took a stroll through Xianhu Botanical Garden in the evening, and surprisingly, the night view was quite pleasant. Streetlights illuminated the cobblestone paths, and the shadows of the trees swayed, making it a pleasant walk. The occasional breeze from the lakeside provided a refreshing coolness. It wasn't crowded, and it was quiet. I could hear the chirping of insects, and occasionally I'd pass a few people strolling by, nodding and passing by. The sky was slightly cloudy, but the moon occasionally peeked through, its reflection on the lake quite beautiful. Overall, it was a perfect place to relax at night, unlike the sun and noise of the day. Just walking around here really calmed me down.

300***84The botanical garden is quite large; it takes at least half a day to explore it all. There's a subway station outside the north gate, which is convenient. The tropical plant greenhouse is definitely worth seeing, with its many exotic flowers and plants. The ticket price isn't cheap, but overall it's definitely worth a visit.

sAviOr_07Qinghui Garden is a must-see attraction in Shunde, one of Guangdong's four major gardens. Admission is 12 yuan per person, purchased by scanning a QR code at the entrance. I visited during the National Day holiday, and it was packed. According to the description, it's a Lingnan garden built during the Ming Dynasty. Listening to the explanation is essential, and the stained glass windows of the Eight Scenic Spots of Guangzhou are a must-see. Unlike the Suzhou gardens, it has a distinct Guangdong style.

jasminhxA highly recommended scenic spot, with water as smooth as brocade, wisps of smoke rising from the water, boats gliding by, and pavilions and towers dotting the water. The Seven Star Crags, nestled on Star Lake, sparkle like stars, making it a place you'll never want to leave.

M32***99The historic Nanhai Guanyin Bodhisattva is my ancestral hometown. I took my lover back to the rich and beautiful Nanhai for the first time to see the birthplace of my grandfather. Nowadays, there are sightseeing buses, cable cars, and luxury buses that can go up the mountain, which can save time and effort to enjoy the mountain scenery.

hjw0070Before the toll collection on the 16th, I went to Yuexiu Park to see the lanterns. The phoenix crown shape on the main gate archway has been completed, and it looks very beautiful when the sun shines on it in the morning. On the left side of the main gate is a kumquat tree that brings good luck. We Cantonese people like to put up pots of flowers during the New Year to bring good luck. There is a koi-shaped lantern set by Beixiu Lake. I remember it was a colorful dragon last year. The shed of the lantern company is just across the lake, and you can see the staff tying fabric pieces on the shapes. There are more things to see if you keep walking towards Jinyin Amusement Park. Next year is the Year of the Snake, and there will be beautiful snakes and cute snakes. There is also an emoji lantern set in front of the swimming pool. By 10 o'clock, when I walked to the main gate, Beixiu Lake was already crowded with people. Go through the East Gate, and the cypress trees on the East Xiu Lake on the other side are starting to turn red.
