东方幸运星We bought tickets for Route A, which allows direct access to the mountain via cable car from the city center. Our hotel was just a few minutes' walk from the cable car station. Upon arriving at the mountain, we transferred to a sightseeing bus to Tianmen Cave Square. We didn't buy tickets for the escalator; instead, we climbed the 999 steps to Tianmen Cave, then took the mountain-penetrating elevator. Next, we were divided into the East and West routes. We chose the West route, a challenge we couldn't imagine. I have a fear of heights. On the first glass walkway, I walked close to the wall. On the second walkway, I initially stayed close to the wall, but my partner encouraged me, and I walked straight to the middle without looking down, completing the walkway alone. Later, we challenged the suspension bridge. For the first time, I overcame my fear. The rest was just normal walking. There were hardly any steep climbs or thrills. Tianmen Mountain is very visitor-friendly; you hardly need to climb at all.

_TI***l1Zhangjiajie National Park was absolutely fabulous, and the little monkeys were incredibly cute. It’s very easy to walk around — it doesn’t require too much effort — and the view from the top of the elevator is breathtaking. Totally worth it! 10/10

M84***65This visit only opened the Mawangdui section of the museum. I was amazed by the craftsmanship and wisdom of the ancients: the 49g-thin outer gauze garment, the lacquerware, the artifacts—the most impressive of all was the coffin of Lady Xin Zhui, the main subject of the museum, with its exquisite and luxurious layers, the outer coffin being magnificent and solemn. The guide provided detailed explanations and took excellent care of me, making it a truly enjoyable visit. 👍

VanessaokayThe location is excellent, making it convenient for sightseeing. It's also very quiet at night, with no noise from downstairs. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the staff are very friendly. Overall, a great experience!

E08***04The cultural atmosphere is rich, and the surrounding scenery is beautiful. During the day, you can overlook the Xiangjiang River and Yuelu Mountain. In the evening, you can enjoy the golden sunset. At night, you can admire the magnificent lights of the surrounding city's high-rise buildings and the Xiangjiang Bridge across the river in the distance. It is truly breathtaking.

二月鹰,北京I visited Yueyang Tower several decades ago when I was in college. Now retired, I returned this spring and recited, "It embraces distant mountains, swallows the Yangtze River, vast and boundless," which was still very pleasant. Senior citizen tickets have improved the cost-effectiveness of sightseeing for seniors!

_TS***edLove the vibe and also the show they had outside. There was an extra show that you could pay to see for a little more money (15 RMB). Definitely worth going in. The show was super entertaining and interactive.

Anonymous userAbsolutely beautiful! You could easily spend a whole day there if you have plenty of time. We spent most of the day there, and the scenery exceeded our expectations. It has the features of the Grand Canyon in the United States, as well as unique Danxia landforms. There are also many facilities, and the greenery is particularly beautiful. When we first got off the bus, we thought we were in Palm City, USA. The lawns were also very nice, and the water was clear. Highly recommended!

Anonymous userThis was the final leg of my Hunan trip, and the scenery was quite beautiful. The classic route was temporarily closed for road construction, so I entered from Bailongtan instead. I thought it would be easy, but after finishing, I realized I'm not young anymore. If I had known, I would have just taken a bus to Nantianmen. Although the entire hike was fraught with difficulties, my belief remained strong, and I finally reached the summit of Zhurong Peak! The biggest takeaway from this trip to Hengshan Mountain is that "as long as you persevere, you will eventually overcome yourself and achieve your dreams!" The view from the summit was absolutely breathtaking!

lyl***08Based on my own experience, if you're not physically fit, you really should enter from the South Gate and exit from the East Gate. First, visit Yuelu Academy, Aiwan Pavilion, and Ancient Lushan Temple at the South Gate, then return to the South Gate sightseeing bus stop to take the sightseeing bus up the mountain. Once you reach the top, take the cable car or sightseeing bus down from the East Gate.
