M53***62Lushan Scenic Area is divided into two routes: the western route focuses on cultural sites, while the eastern route showcases natural landscapes, both majestic and breathtaking. Two days are recommended. Staying on Guling Street is suggested. It's worth a visit. The food at the Guling Street market is very cheap. Lushan is described by Li Bai as a waterfall cascading down three thousand feet, seemingly the Milky Way falling from the ninth heaven; by Su Shi as a mountain range appearing differently depending on the angle of view; by Bai Juyi as a path where peach blossoms begin to bloom in the mountain temple after the flowers of April have faded; and by Tao Yuanming as a place where one can leisurely gaze at the southern mountains while picking chrysanthemums by the eastern fence. The service at the scenic area is also excellent. A well-deserved 5A-level scenic spot.
